I don't have a problem with showing my voter registration card or driver's license. What's the big deal? Also, allowing convicted criminals and illegals to vote would make an election illegal, seems to me!? Chuck
-
Seems to me, this opens the doors for all the illegals living in this country and are not citizens, the ability to vote. Politicians have been pandering to the illegals for their vote in this country for years. The judge's ruling leaves out the fact that a voter in this country must be a citizen. Also, it comes across that convicted criminals would be able to vote. Chuck

A lot of things "was considered legal an acceptable." Until it wasn't. that included separate but equal, beating confessions out of innocent people, illegal searches, beating protesters for exercising freedom of speech or religion, ... need I continue? Well, obviously, I'm in favor of the death penalty and you obviously are not. Let's just call it a draw. Chuck

And we executed him for it. Are you suggesting the same be done to the members of the criminal justice system of Ohio? Or the jurors and judge that gave him the sentence? Wow! You really had to reach for that one! I wasn't suggesting any such thing. Or is that what you are thinking? Chuck

Wasn't it cruel and unusual punishment when he raped and murdered that girl? Chuck No, that was a CRIME. Society at large is supposed to be better than criminals. Society shouldn't be emulating criminals. What was done was considered legal and acceptable. Heck, they could've used 'old sparky'. Poo-poo happens. Chuck

I seriously doubt the entire population will be wiped-out due to the death penalty. Chuck

Wasn't it cruel and unusual punishment when he raped and murdered that girl, & unborn child? Chuck FIFY. Thanks for adding that! Chuck

I am sure there are still some people jumping canopies with the white panel with Call Ralph and the number on them... I jumped with a guy who ordered a main from Ralph. He had it shipped to me to install and pack. When I opened it and suspended it to inspect, there was that big white patch with 'Call Ralph...' on it. I didn't tell the guy and let him discover it when he made a jump on it that week-end. I'll put it this way... he was not happy! It was the cause for a lot of laughs. I did get paid before his 'discovery'. Chuck

Old trend. Old trend. That being said, Christie is really not all that Conservative; he's a moderate Republican. And he's not being beat up on by "liberals", he's being beat up on by Democrats generally, including the moderate wing, - not because of ideology (ideologically most Democrats can live with Christie), but simply because they don't want him as the quarterback of the opposing team: on balance, they'd rather have any Democrat in the White House appointing the next SCOTUS justices than any viable Republican. http://home.myhughesnet.com/tv/3/player/vendor/CNN/player/cnn/asset/cnn-springsteen_fallon_mock_bridge_scandal-cnn/source/Clips Chuck

When we were planning to move to 'farther west' Texas, we looked at a house where a man had died of 'natural causes'. The place was kinda' neat but my wife felt there was bad ju-ju in the house so we kept looking. Chuck

I bought my current house in 1995. Not to long after I moved in I noticed a hole in the sheetrock on the ceiling of the garage. Looking down, I saw blood spots. I have yet to enquire as to what might have transpired here. JerryBaumchen PS) I am thinking a previous owner might have been a hunter and hung up his deer to dress it out. The skeleton may still be in the attic! Chuck
