I think, the Canadiens can do it! Philly will be tough to get by but the Canadiens did knock-out Washington and Pittsburgh. I'd like to see Chicago knock-off the Sharks and get that 'Original Six' thing going. Go Habs!!! Chuck

Accoeding to the Pew research center, only 3% of illegals work in agriculture. A guess worker program would fix this. They're either going to the gangs already established here in just about every big city in this country or, they're going for the better paying jobs in the northern states. According to Border Patrol Agents I've spoken with, we're getting a greater number of criminals. Chuck

I was always told; 'You can do anything if, you put your mind to it!' This guy definately put his mind to it. Chuck

It has to be some kind of photoshop or something, England you have to have a permit for a any guns, so it is IMPOSSIBLE that this guy has one. "Is that a chair in your pocket or are you just glad to see me?" Chuck

No ban, of course not. Export them to the US along with a detailed instrucion manual "... how to strow right on the nose ... " That'll be a sales hit - and spare them US bros a lot of money for ammo. That's funny! Chuck

For 20+ years we've been hoping this problem would go away; it hasn't. A big part of the reason is folks who are afraid to hurt someone else's feelings. It hasn't worked and it doesn't work on this issue so now we have the current reality that says if you are in AZ, you look like a Mexican and you're doing something illegal, involved in something illegal, or just hanging around a bunch of people who might be up to no good we're going to (gasp ) ask you a few questions and want to see some documentation that you are here legally. If you are a citizen please accept our apologies. I'm sorry that it has gotten to this but the failure of the federal government to handle the issue has forced Arizona's hand, and I'll bet a few other states along the border will be starting their own version soon. It's not popular, it's not pretty, it certainly isn't fashionable, but there it is. Better fix? Let's hear it. I think, a good time to start checking papers would be at all the rallies and protests coming up. Perfect opportunity. Check their permits to have the protest and other papers. From what I've seen, there'll be people of all races and colors protesting so, where would the profiling enter into it? Just a thought.

Too big to do anything? What about the group that believes that the borders should be completely open? Some real mental giants, right there! Chuck

I'd be angry. You went through all you did to be a citizen of this country and here we have millions of illegals who get a 'free pass' because it would cost too much to sack 'em up and send them home. What puzzles me is, we have billions for bank bail-outs, frivilous pork barrell spending and so-on and so-on yet, we can't afford to remove law breaking illegal aliens. Something is definately wrong with this picture. Chuck

Montreal's penalty kill was outstanding! Like you, I can now, see big things ahead for the Canadiens. I think, I'd rather see them play Boston than Philly but the way they are playing... I don't think, it really matters. This is truly... the good stuff! Chuck

I think, I saw Cindy crying! I am really glad to see the Canadiens do this... Yesssssssss! Chuck

Gonchar had that 'is this game over, yet?' look on his face. Geeze, man! This is the play-offs! Chuck
-
Do you believe what is happening? Montreal with a 3-goal lead? Holy cow! This is un-believable!!! Go Habs! Chuck

Just try, anyone, to enter Mexico without papers! Yet too many folks in this country are so sympathetic towards them. As for new immigration laws, we don't need new laws. Just enforce the ones we have now. There's laws on the books for 'migrant worker programs'. The bottom line is... if, someone is here illegally, they are breaking our laws and need to be sent back to their home country. Once again, we are getting more and more gang members of some extremely vicious gangs or those looking to join gangs here. We need to stop the 'revolving door' at our border. We send them back and they just turn around and come-back. We just flat, need to get tough about it. There are people on this side of the border who are leaving their homes along the border because of the violence from drug cartels. Chuck

Don't we have a 'quota'? Chuck -
They're doing a damned good job of it, for sure. If, they beat Pittsburgh, look-out! The sky is the limit. I just love an 'under dog' story! Go Habs! Chuck

You think it's easy for a Latino from outside the USA--or for anyone, for that matter--to acquire the skills necessary to play baseball at the MLB level? Tommy Lasorda, opened the eyes of MLB to the Dominican Leagues and other Latin countries. Check-out how many players come from Latin countries. Not just the 'Bigs' but in the minors. Chuck -
It can be! And now that you mention it, that's probably about the best BBQ you'd find out here. Don't even think of trying the brisket. My new favorite place for brisket (in Texas, of course! ) is a little place called Spyke's in Kingsland. SOOOO good! Llano has some good stuff too. Oh, and around San Marcos, you're probably thinking of Lockhart? They're known for BBQ, but it's been years since I've been there. Lockhart! That's it! It's been a looong time since I've been there. I was at SSM doing my packs for my seat rating and Steve Van Buren (the owner at the time) and I went there. Lord, it was good! Chuck

To those of you who have posted or may post their military service time... Thank You! Chuck

Snob! Chuck

Llano, IS the best!!! When I was there, I had the briskit and a pork chop... the chop looked more like a roast. There's a little town outside of San Marcos, I'd say is second. I can't recall the town's name... danged old age! Chuck

I had no idea, tofu could be BBQ'd. Chuck

Both ways?? I'd like to buy Park Place... Chuck -
Should be one helluva game! Go Habs Go!! I just noticed that PK Subban had more icetime than anybody on the ice. He was also out there at the faceoff with 35 seconds left. Talk about a call-up having an awesome series! I think he just played his way onto the Canadiens for next year. Jean Beliveau went in the dressing room before the third period....that's like getting a message from God! Well, I'm revved....Game 7 in the second round is about 9 or 10 games further than I thought they would go so this is very exciting! What's with the Bruins letting the Flyers back into the series? Put those guys down Bruins!! How 'bout them Habs! To just see them get into the play-offs and now this? Whoda' thunk it? Their andvancement to this point in the play-offs is not only astounding, it shows what determination can do. Those guys want it and want it BAD! This is 'the good stuff'! Chuck
