  1. If, I'm not mistaken, the mother still be deported, take the child with her and may apply for citizenship later. Just because the child is born here doesn't automatically make the mother a citizen. The child being a U.S. citizen does help the mother's case. Does it work that way in Mexico or any other country? Chuck
  2. Can you say that in Lakota? Not that old grind? You're about 150-yrs. too late and we had nothin' to do with it. All we can deal with is what is happening today. The past has passed. Chuck Exactly. The U.S. born children of illegal immigrants say, "too late and we had nothin' to do with it. All we can deal with is what is happening today. The past has passed." I don't believe in amnesty. Should an illegal gat caught, even after several years, either send them to their native country or fine them severely. If, they skip the country without paying the fine, they don't get back in this country. Chuck
  3. Where have Kane and Toews been? It'd be nice if, they'd show-up. I've seen this before in the play-offs and finals and the 'stars' don't shine but the rest of the team pulls-out wins. This may be the case here. I would like to see the Blackhawks win it all. Chuck

  5. Which is exactly what the Arizona "papers please" law does. There are many Mexican American citizens who want to preserve their culture and speak Spanish and wave Mexican flags and celebrate Mexican holidays on occasion. They should have every right to do so. I couldn't agree with you more! Once again, as long as they are here LEGALLY!!! As far as the laws go, if they are here illegally, they really don't have right one. Other than that, I think that folks who come here legally should retain their heritage and celebrate their holidays and our holidays too. Chuck
  6. I thought Niemi did great! Especially when Philly was pounding away at the Chicago net. Hossa was trying to set-up plays and working hard. No matter, Chicago is going to have to keep-up the fast pace and tire Philly out. At one point, Philly's coach was trying to slow the pace down but it didn't work. Those big goons can't hold-up for sixty minutes. Chicago just needs to keep their heads. Chuck
  7. The Blackhawks squeaked through that one! Sloppy play and bad passes by the Blackhawks could've had the game go the other way. Whew! Did you see that hit earlier in the game by Philly? I know, the Blackhawk player was the intended target but that was funny as hell! Two down... two to go! Go Blackhawks!!! Chuck
  8. Dunno! I tuned in just after the anthem. Chuck
  9. Have Pierre and Boo-Boo quit yappin', yet? I wanna watch the game!!! Go Blackhawks!!! Chuck
  10. No matter how skydivey you are, there's always gonna be someone skydivier to remind you of how not skydivey you are Are they called sky-gods? Chuck I filmed many "Skygods" on thier first jumps...Does that make me "more Skydivery" than they are, even though they are better known now? You'll have to ask them... they're the sky-gods! Chuck

  13. So many dorks...... so many adulterers..... living up to that wonderful FAMILY VALUES buzz word... since that is all it really is to so many on the far fringe right you forgot about Bill Clinton He's too obvious! Chuck OK, Kennedy, Johnson and Reagan were all philanderers too. They were all jerks for doing it. Chuck Thomas Jefferson, Grover Cleveland, Warren Harding. I get the drift... The bottom line is, their actions do not give one the sense they had a strong moral terpitude. If, they cheated on their spouses... where else did they cheat? Chuck Actually they exhibited pretty serious moral turpitude. Shades of 'double-standard'? Chuck
  14. Canucks gots rednecks too, just that their necks are a lil' more white... pink-necks? Chuck

  17. There are quite a few historical scholarly writings about this. Rather than just cavalierly dismissing it the way you just did, why don't you Google the issue, read some of the papers with an open, critical and scholarly objective mind, and then draw your own conclusions? I did as you suggested and searched the subject. Just another we looked-up to, only to be let-down. The fact he couldn't 'consumate' the affair doesn't lessen the wrong. Chuck
  18. So many dorks...... so many adulterers..... living up to that wonderful FAMILY VALUES buzz word... since that is all it really is to so many on the far fringe right you forgot about Bill Clinton Bill Clinton didn't campaign on a foundation of conservative family values. However, adulterers Ronald Reagan, Bob Dole and Newt Gingrich all did. Clinton was crafty! Less explaining to do later. Chuck

  20. Speaking of military leaders, most historians' consensus is that when then-Gen. Dwight Eisenhower, a married man, was Supreme Allied Commander in Europe during WWII, he probably was having an affair with his aide, Kay Summersby. You say 'probably'. O.k., counselor... no real proof on this one. No 'hard evidence'. We'll have to let this one slide. Chuck
  21. In my 50+ years, I've personally known a number of people who've had extramarital affairs. Thinking back on it, I don't think any of them were politicians. Sure! We don't think anything of the 'common man' having extra marital affairs, maybe a 'tsk, tsk' but we tend to hold our 'leaders' above that. We are 'supposed' to look to them as good examples of how leaders should be. Politicians just continue to prove they are no better than the 'common man'... probably much worse! Chuck I think for me its the moral hypocrisy they display. They pander to the BASE..who want to hear that FAMILY VALUES buzzword tossed at them as a sign thta this is a safe vote for all that is good and holy. I guess I am just not a big fan of following ......especially those who live by do as I say.... not as they do. Then again.. it seems a VERY large percentage just do as they do anyway. The no good sons of bitches would sell their mother for a vote! Chuck

  23. Kinda insulting to alley cats, isn't it?? Now that you mention it... it is! My bad! Chuck
  24. It just strengthens the idea I have that politicians, dems or repubs have the morals of an alley cat. Chuck
