    Well.....other than the fact that you can fit more people in a Huey....I think I would rather jump the Allouette. Sure gets to altitude a HELL of a lot faster than a D model Huey. Those things climb slower than a Cessna. If Rod isn't coming back they need to find someone with a Blackhawk or CH-47 Shithook! Either one of those would be awesome. With the Shithook you even get a tailgate!!! Dude a blackhawk would rockass.. do they have military surplus blackhawks??

    I think they advertised a jet and a Connie last year too. *Snicker* Yeah but they learned their lesson about that and said they wouldn't advertise ont he website unless it was confirmed and according to the website a huey was confirmed.. Maybe because it was green they thought it was a huey?

    yep mine is here too, giving it the wingsuit test this weekend.. will post a review later this weekend. first impression is documentation is less than par compared to protrack.. they feel the interface is so easy to use they don't need much documentation.. however I read on the website that you should not use "manual mode" in the 1.5 software revision, of course I can't find anywhere what the hell manual mode is. anyway pics and review later..

    Yeah, who gives a fuck about all those local skydivers in Cape Town who want to do demos (and actually get permission for them). As long as Felix looked cool and got lots of nice footage for his sponsor that is all that matters right? Exactly! glad we could agree

    BTW this is the same stunt he pulled over a beach in Cape Town (only he didn't bother getting permission that time) well he obviously got the okay from the pilot, that's all that mattered right?

    I'm flying delta to texas next week, I have a letter from delta which came from USPA but it's dated 1980 something! Not sure how credible it is anymore :(

    Do you have one of those "square" d-bags? i.e. more square than rectangular? do you pack grommet up for any of your other jumps or just wingsuit?

    I actually wouldn't put it past branson to have something lined up for after he's dead.. not sure what, but some stunt or something with a "branson lookalike" or something just to make people wonder or remember him.. who knows, he's dressed up in drag to promote his products, driven a tank through central square to promote his products, etc... his whole business story is an interesting one if you ever get the chance to read about him and virgin.

    I don't have a big problem with him other than he seems to be making claims and touting claims that are less than true - the "lowest base jump ever" claim I hear is incorrect. I also understand that he "stole" the skyray design for this project? The designer of the skyray posted something about it the other day.. Anyway i'd love to fly with the guy sometime - hope he isn't full of himself.

    I jump a GTI & an S3 (mainly my s3 now).. i jump a mirage (pre g3) when I first got the gti it was unmodded.. had one cutaway due to line twists which in part had something to do with the way the dbag was put in, but also in part due to the corners. After the rig was modded (corners cut) i have had a dramatic improvement on my openings. If i were to get a new rig (which i had planned on doing for a while) i'd get a wings.. Kevin
