  1. You are missing my question. I am asking if you think that if we were able to question the authors of those quotes would they both share your definition of the word witchcraft? Your question makes no sense to me. I am using those authors as reference to answer your original question about witchcraft. You gave me your interpretation of those quotes. Do you think the authors defined witchcraft as rebellion as you seem to have defined witchcraft. Or did I misinterpret your definition of witchcraft?
  2. If you don't like my posts the quit reading them. Their viewpoints don't make any sense and are not based on reality and I am more then happy to point that out.

  4. The first two statements were mine, not quotes. The following quotes are what I was referring to not your statements. To clarify, do you think think the authors of the following quotes shared your definition of witchcraft?
  5. Scripture equates rebellion with witchcraft. So, in that sense, yes I do. Some cultures engage in various forms of witchcraft, so from the perspective of cultural relativity, yes I do. edit to add: 1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Do you think that is what the authors of those meant? Do you think they didn't believe in witchcraft as is commonly defined (not your personal definition). If you need the common definition it can be found at dictionary.com. I answered your question. What else are you looking for? You gave me your interpretation. I was asking if you think the authors of those writings shared your interpretation. Are you referring to the Scripture reference? I was asking about both writings that were quoted.

  7. Wow talk about the pot calling the kettle black! You can't stand me expressing my point of view here on this forum. Why don't you accept my point of view?

  9. I seriously doubt that he really is as bad of a person as he claims. If he were then I find it even less likely that fear of a divine judgement would be enough to restrain him. I think he is talking out his ass with no real way to validate it and thats why I called it meaningless drivel.
  10. You know there is a million dollar challenge to anyone who can prove anything supernatural. If your claims are real then it should be easy to claim the money. http://www.randi.org/site/index.php/1m-challenge.html
  11. Nothing in the world could do that. Which is why faith is a very dangerous thing. Ya...it can be. I've recently learned how to control people and life situations with my mind. It scares the shit out of me...It's hard for me to trust myself with that level of power. It's probably a good thing for you that I fear God. That brought tears to my eyes. I found this very funny also. But probably for a very different reason.
  12. Your posts read as though you are a poor, poor narrow-minded youngster. You have no clue....only mindless diatribe. If I were God, those are the people I would tweak their nose to see that look of utter shock in their eyes and then say, "Fuck off, tool." You guys are worse than any bible-thumper I could ever dream up. One track mind blah, blah, blah, blah and more blah, blah, blah, blah. Time for a commercial break. God still love you guys though. At least you have finally quit trying to peddle your silly argument and now stooped to condescension.
  13. Hey, if you can't trust the Government, who can you trust? I never said I trusted the Gov. Just that they define what qualifies as a charity. Just like they define what qualifies as a Church in legal terms for tax purposes that is. It's all about taxes.
  14. The guy telling you that your beliefs in Christianity is nothing but a fantasy and with out any evidence you have nothing to dispute that with. Ok Joe Shmoe... You are free to disagree and there is no imaginary consequence for doing so. No thinly veiled threats.
  15. I was not aware that Churches charged for their services. What part of what they do do you think they should be taxed for? They should pay property taxes.
  16. They can start a seperate business as a non profit charity.
  17. Since much of a Churches income comes from contributions from their followers, and those followers are able to deduct it from their income, are you saying that all contributors to charities should lose that exemption? Or should it only be contributions they make to a Church and not the Salvation Army? I don't know. I haven't looked into this issue at all. But I don't think Chruches should be exempt from taxes. I think churches are defined differently by the Gov then non profit charities. I don't know the specifics of how the Gov defines each of those.
  18. Right now the Gov defines what charity is.
  19. The guy telling you that your beliefs in Christianity is nothing but a fantasy and with out any evidence you have nothing to dispute that with.
  20. ...and most still didn't believe. Some even passed it off as coming from evil. Those stories demonstrate that faith can only be a gift from God's grace. "...if someone goes to them from the dead, they will repent!’ 31 But he said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be persuaded even if someone rises from the dead.’” If the Christian God were real then this insane notion of faith would not be necessary. Belief with out evidence is just a way to dupe gullible people.
  21. They do charitable work. That doesn't make them equal to a charity.
  22. If what you believe is true then your god should have no trouble convincing the most skeptical person out there. All it takes is real evidence. Something that can be tested and repeated. The Bible has examples where he proved his existence. Why can't he do it now? You are believing a fantasy.
