    Perceptions can often be incorrect. I can't imagine any way to validate those perceptions with real information. How do you ask a Gov. employee if he/she is corrupt?

    I have 4 sisters and 2 brothers and I am the oldest. Babysitting isn't always fun, but it didn't happen all of the time.

    It isn't a control issue. This couple made a conscious decision to have lots of kids. Apparently they can afford to have lots of kids. I really don't see over population as being something that will happen anytime soon.

    There are much worse things in life then growing up in a large family. I don't really see the big deal in this. I personally wouldn't want that many kids, but it isn't the first time this has happened.

    oh myyy God think of all the unregistered knives out there. It's gonna take at least 2 Billion dollars to get them all registered. And what about all the material out there that could be used to make knives. I think those need to controlled also. Anyone wanting to buy any type of material that could possibly be used to make a knife should have to register with the Federal Gov. and show in writing just how they plan to make use of the material. Well it just makes sense. The more registered knives the less stabbings there will be. Right?

    I have no idea how they compare in comfort. I have never tried either of them on. But I would think the Sky Pimp would be very comfortable, because it is so custom. The FF2 is also custom fitted. They don't have different sizes that you buy off the shelf. You have to send in your head circumference measurement so they can build it to fit.

    I know a couple of people that have Sky Pimp helmets. The only thing that I don't like about them is that they are made for one specific camera. If you want to put a different camera in it you need to have a new helmet made or have it refitted by the manufacturer.

    Personal happiness is only attained by those willing to do it themselves. The world is what you personally make it out to be. The world is what it is and can not be change by you are anyone else. How you deal with it determines your personal happiness.

    I think Java is slow. It takes too long to load the VM. I would prefer writing my own then using someone else's. The only reason I focus on Alti-2 is because I own a Neptune. If I owned a Protrack I would focus on L & B. I am not upset with Alti-2, just disappointed with them on this one point. I would much rather put together my own version of Paralog, then when I feel that it is good enough I would possibly try selling it as an alternative to Paralog. I would be happy to sign a nondisclosure agreement. But that was never offered.

    Those people that would tinker around with the inner workings of the Neptune would most likely be expecting and anticpating any malfunctions and would not rely on it as much as someone who didn't modify their Neptune.

    Hi Ian, I emailed Alti 2 about this same subject and got the standard response. I don't think talking to him in person on the phone would help any. Reverse engineering is really the only option. It is done all the time(example: XBox- has been hacked to run all sorts of interesting stuff). It would probably increase the sales for Neptunes. I think the safety issue of reprograming the Neptune to be a total non issue. If anyone is dumb enough to only rely on an audible then they get what they ask for. I personally have had the battery die on an audible and realize in the air when it didn't go off. Its not a big deal if you are altitude aware.

    Freesoloing is nuts and I would somewhat compare that to base jumping but with many more opportunities to splatter yourself all over the ground below. Did you watch that CSI: NY yesterday that featured a Freesoloist?
