icarus is testing canopies right now. that's what i was told. but they are no where near release yet. still in the very early testing stages. i was told they had a few, but i wasn't told what design or anything that were going for, ie another crossfire type canopy, vx, fx. i have no clue. later

i don't know how many times i've said this same thing. why in the world do you want a smaller reserve than a main, and at that, you have a zp main, and then a f-111 reserve that is smaller. makes no sense at all to me. or what i really love to see is when someone has like a 135 main that they can't land, but have a 120 reserve. ok, i'm done now

hell yea, i would so do that. that looks like fun. and a bit more clearance than what i had when i swooped in the hanger at richmond, i was down on my ass, and only had like 6 inches of clearance, if i would of been standing up, my canopy would hit the top. but it was fun, but never to be attemted again. later

what i have done with a couple that i have sent in, was call up icarus, and then they have me send it to mel in like south carolina or something. but call icarus, they'll put you on the right path. later

holly shit. that really sucks. good to hear no one is hurt, but my mom and dad had a fire when we used to own a dz, and it takes a long time to recover. even if the gear is insured, it still takes a long time to get new gear. some good new is, at least with the insurance we had, the instructors gear and all of the rigging customers gear the burnt up, was paid for. so you guys may get lucky and the dz may have insurance that covers that kind of stuff. i know too that some of the instuctors home insurance covered their gear, so that may be the case with you guy's stuff too. hey, if i find a couple of extra alti's around, i'll send em out to you guys later

i don't have kids (haha, i'm only 16). but i used to jump with my dad a lot. and when i was doing my first few jump alone, my dad did kinda have the look of fear in his eye. but once i got a little further on, it was just the fat dumb happy smile like he always has in freefall. but now, i don't jump with him too much, he doesn't freefly, so we go our separte ways when we get on the plane . all i have to do know is get him into swooping, and we can have a father son swooping team later

it makes no difference at all. i let out the corners of my container just like the bird man option on the wings (i have a wing). i don't even jump birdman suits (honestly, the scare the shit out of me), i just did it because i was having some problems with my bag coming off my back, because my main was way tight in there. later -

i have devoted a couple weekends to just swooping, like when i took the trip up to canton this past summer, it's purpose was to swoop a pond all weekend. and me and vern and jonny have spent a couple weekends just swooping, doing team landings or what ever. we just do it for fun mostly, we may go to some comps this year, but we'll have to see. verns got to get something better than his fx and jonny has to get an xbraced too. later

cool, i forgot to get some people's video of those too. there were like 10 cameras all over out there. that's why me and vern were like screw it, lets do team landings to we can get the video, screw the points. i mean, pay 5 bucks and get 10 angles of video, why not. later
