    Well it all started in late January early February in 1967 with my parents. The weather must have been bad during those months in Texas so they weren't jumping much...well thats not exactly true Come Oct 1 that year I was born, mom had made about 20 jumps from Feb to Oct so I guess I was never really given a choice.

    I would also suggest Dacron Lines on the canopy, not only do they stretch, but the thicker lines will slow the slider down as well. The only disadvantage that I have found is that they add more bulk to the pack job, but that is not important to me. Especially since I dont pack..

    Thank you Jay and Jamie as well for helping a brother out when he was down. You are 2 of the nicest people I have ever met. Dom its easy to help out when its with the right people like yourself.. That is great news!!! Maybe you can teach us a few things about fund raising for SkyFest so we can give more to skydivers. Ok we are still wanting steak and lobster when we get home next week.

    I know that neighborhood and you are the only one new to the area... Seriously though...not sure if it is still there but up the main raod about 1/2 mile the corner house has a huge banner with his face on it stating the offense. Suprised they never had any problems, but its perfectly legal. see ya next week

    From what I understand they will start taking orders today. I also believe they took a while with those sizes because they wanted them to fly like the smaller ones. The larger sizes are probably for the larger jumpers who want the Katana's flight characteristics. Or a different loading. They will have them available to demo at certain events this year. I know they will be at SkyFest July 12-17 at SD Spaceland Maybe a PD rep will reply here as well. Hope that helps

    I have talked to Bill about that, he hasnt done one in a while... SO we are trying to get Curley Roe to join us. He invented the ceremony. Which I believe would be the first time they are together. Bill will be handing out patches on the spot like the old days so no waiting for your patch!!! This is a once in a life time event, celebrating 40 years of SCR's with the "founders" present....what a history making event!! Can you tell I am excited!!!!
