Yep, Precision is OK with them. I wrote them an e-mail a few weeks ago and Breezy Shaw said "we do approve the use of thetandem/reserve PD Slink on our reserve and/or tandem canopies." I spoke with my rigger about them and he is not going to put them on my rig. Josh said they are not worth the weight savings. He's the rigger. I said OK. :::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, .. OMG!!! I don't even want to start with the press, skydiving, LODI (2 deaths there last year like there proud of it), and jumping tandem younger than 18. Actually, hey, if the DZO doesn't mind the fact that his decision to make an extra $100 may cause a lawsuit that could end tandem jumping. That is between the DZO and the Tandem manufacturer. Yep, what JD said. The only license you can possess without a number is the new A license card with the appropriate signature and "A" stamp on it. The other three have to be submitted to USPA and have a number assigned for your license. Now, you can meet all the requirements, pass all the tests, and then just pay one $20 fee for say, your D license if you don't want to spend all $80. :::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, .. While were talking about the gear, why not try some coach time in a wind tunnel? Start to learn how to fly your body and it will help your instructors when you can say - This is the body position I can use for stable ff, turns, pull - I practiced and learned it in the wind tunnel. :::OK, Canopy is Open, No Traffic Around, ..
