Stamps: Damaging fragile minds and putting children in danger.
LuckyMcSwervy replied to grue's topic in The Bonfire
+1 Everything in your attachment was true for me. And then some! Heck, I played with molten lead and sent Tonkas down the sidewalk with cherry bombs on board. Mercury was fun too. LOL!! Yes, it was!! I remember dropping a thermometer on the bathroom vanity tiles and tried picking all of the little balls with my bare fingers. I thought it was a fun challenge. Maybe that's what's wrong with me now... Always be kinder than you feel. -

I'm a WIMP. I drink Corona Light FFS!! You're dead to me. DEAD! ^^^ See? That's the typical reaction. Always be kinder than you feel.

Then what made you think it was a date and not friends getting together for dinner? We were not friends. ... maybe she thought you were a new friend, in the "friend zone"? Anyway, that sucks for you. Always be kinder than you feel.

I was just inspired to make some Keurig Decaf Vermont Blend coffee and put it in a Seminole Hark Rock Hollywood styrofoam cup. It's delicious. I love the K-Cups so much I take the coffee samples they leave in the room with me. Always be kinder than you feel.

It's a coffee shop. At a DZ. The experience I want is coffee as fast as possible to go back to jumping. Your business model may need to be tweaked. Exactly what I was going to write. Who has time for the full coffee shop experience except the whuffos? I get impatient at the Dunkin' Donuts drive in if it takes more than 60 seconds in the morning rush. Half coffee/half skim milk. Ain't that hard, folks. Speed is part of that experience. If fast service is the experience that you need to come back then that's what they need to give. I never said a "full coffee shop experience" I said and experience that made people want to come back. There is a way to give a cool laid back experience while still getting your drink out in -70 seconds. The coffee shop I'm at now is in an office building full of impatient attorneys who are rushing to get to work. I know what you are talking about. I just ASSUMED it was the full coffee shop type experience since you said you loved being a barista and then posted a photo with a fancy design on top of the coffee or whatever type of drink that is. Personally, I'm a Keurig machine girl. If a DZ put a Keurig machine on the counter near the manifest window or somewhere else easily accessible I'd think I was in Heaven. Or just a Gravity pot full of good coffee that gets refilled when it needs it. Someone does that at my DZ with the DD Box O' Joe thing on the weekends (along with DD donuts). It's a really sweet gesture by a long time jumper but I never touch the coffee. The Keurig machine would make me happier. It's the novelty of it. I said GOOD coffee... If you tasted my coffee, you wouldnt want to drink Keurig coffee again if you had a choice. lol Trust me. I loved the Keurig before I got into specialty coffee. Good is subjective. I pick Keurig for taste and convenience (including clean up). Hey, maybe I'm not the best person to comment on this since I'm just a medium roast, half skim milk girl. Very boring and basic. You can't teach this old dog new tricks. Good is subjective to an extent. But not here. Lets go back to burgers. NOBODY would argue that a fresh, home made, hand seasoned, grilled burger isn't good compared to a McDouble from McDonalds. Or that a Hand craft, micro brewed beer isnt better than a 211. :) You asked about coffee and that's how I honestly responded. I'm not into burgers or anything but a pissy light beer so again, I'm not the person whose opinion you need. Always be kinder than you feel.

I see you have 5 hours in the tunnel. I don't know about you but tunnel time is exhausting to me! Especially when you're scheduled to fly overnight. Hmmm... espresso shots, turbo coffee at the tunnel... There you go. You're welcome. Always be kinder than you feel.

I agree. I've never had Starbucks coffee and DD is just convenient if I'm outta bottled water for the Keurig machine. Years ago I used to do the coffee grind thing and I loved the smell and the taste but I honestly hated the cleaning of the machinery involved in keeping everything "fresh". Oh wait, I just remembered I do buy the Starbuck's Blonde K-Cups. They're just ok but they were on sale so I tried them. BTW... I stopped at DeLand for a few minutes the other day and the bar looked cool. Wish I could've stayed longer. Oh, and it smelled really good outside, BBQ smell! YUM!

I'm a simple girl: chocolate or strawberry. Haagen-Dazs seem to have a richer and creamier flavors but I'll eat any brand. Same goes for Godiva. Oh... and I love Chunky Monkey!! Oh... and Weight Watchers make a yummy triple chocolate sugar cone snack. Hits the spot when you're having a little craving!! Always be kinder than you feel.

The first date with my now exHusband. I should've never gone. Always be kinder than you feel.

Apparently, it probably wasn't her as she's been photographed in South Africa recently. Kudos to the stunningly beautiful woman who looks and speaks exactly like her. Lucky chick!! Always be kinder than you feel.

I was in Hollywood at that one. The BEST one. Stopped in DeLand on the way home. For a whole 15 minutes to try to see some friends from Cross Keys who are now there. Always be kinder than you feel.

Yesterday morning at the Hard Rock Seminole I sat next to Rihanna at breakfast. Or so I thought. I STILL believe it was her. I go back to the room and look up her Twitter and it looks like she was in Sydney, Australia the day before. I don't know, time would be tight but I still think it was her. The staff was fawning all over her, she was tucked in a back corner where I was sitting alone, and I heard every word she said with her Bajan accent. Was with a bodyguard/burly friend type. It was 8:30am, she was drinking a mimosa and was rocking this amazing green catsuit, sky high heels and was absolutely stunningly beautiful. I don't know.. was it her? Probably. I'm doubting myself but probably. I had no idea this dude sitting in first class next to me on a flight from Cincinnati to Atlanta was Shannon Sharpe. The ramp rats were waving at him from the ground. It was the week before Hurricane Katrina, so that was the time frame. I have more from living in Atlantic City and the celebrities who visit but it's nothing too notable. Diana Ross in an elevator, Frank Sinatra's penthouse, but we weren't on a plane. Always be kinder than you feel.

Don't forget to tell the other jumpers on your load about your vision problem so they know you have trouble seeing them, especially under canopy. The whole had on a swivel thing gets new meaning when your vision isn't up to par. Always be kinder than you feel. -
With women isnt it the wrong time of the month all the time? I'd love to shake the hand of the lucky lady sharing your home. Mother is away right now. OMG. Always be kinder than you feel.
