    I'm "staff" as well. But I'd like to think she calls me "Momma". Did you have anyone stay at your house or come in to spend some time with him over the weekend? I'm just back from 2 weeks away and my girl is cool as hell. Probably because she got lots of attention while I was gone. Always be kinder than you feel.

    I agree! My parents are so devoted to the family and so generous with their time, they really don't ask much in return other than these few hours on Christmas Eve. Oh well, she's the one who is missing out. She'll be stuck in church while we're all getting drunk and opening presents! I'm curious how many years she has been in the family and how many years it took her to start being a self centered bitch after she got the noose around your brothers neck? Wonder how HER side of the family handles her iron fist? Always be kinder than you feel.

    Just sitting here thinking that before anyone says I'm uncurrent so what do I care? The reason why I haven't jumped in a while is because I'm more afraid of getting vertigo or having my vision go out on a jump and hurting/killing one of my FRIENDS. Moreso than taking a chance and jumping and just hurting/killing myself. But to worry about one of your "friends" hurting/killing you with a fkn prank while on an already dangerous jump just makes shake my head. Always be kinder than you feel.

    +1 I'm a docile person but if it ever happened to me you can bet there'd be a problem in the landing area between me and the other "friend". Always be kinder than you feel.

    You violated another jumper's TRUST. I don't care that everyone else on the load was "in" on the "joke". I'd never jump with you again. And I'd tell everyone why. There's quite a few people I won't jump with or get on the same load with them because of 1) past personal jumping experiences with them, 2) hearing from others they're a douche bag on jumps or under canopy by way of recklessness, 3) knowing what they were doing the night before (drugs, alcohol, etc.). What you perceive as funny could've seriously effed your friend up. Not cool, not funny, not smart. Always be kinder than you feel.

    Beyond the obvious biological impossibility, KIDS ARE HARD, AND A LOT OF WORK! Even with a loving, committed relationship, it's difficult. Having done it (mine are raised and on their own), I can't even imagine doing it by my self on purpose. I just can't fathom how woman or men do it on their own. That takes some strength and guts that I certainly don't have and I do admire those who pull it off and some make it look easy. Always be kinder than you feel.

    I love seeing skydiving stuff the general public will see that shows participants smiling and happy and obviously loving what they're doing. The sport needs all of the positive exposure it can get! Thanks for the link.

When I was in high school there was a poster with a guy with a nice body wearing jeans (obviously no underwear) and a wife beater tshirt. He has the wife beater pulled up to show his ripped abs. The quote on the poster was "A hard man is good to find". I think at the time I didn't understand what that REALLY meant. My Dad flipped out and made me take it down and he trashed it. I was pissed but put up surfer posters instead. No biggie. Always be kinder than you feel.

    This wasn't even a Walmart this morning; It was a Home Depot. I went in early in the morning just to grab some bolts and wire-ties, and had to run the gauntlet of the door greeter *and* 5 more clerks who had to pester me about if I was finding what I needed before I escaped. Oops. There's another one for me. If I'm in a stabby mood I usually say, "You'll be the first to know if I can't find what I'm looking for." Or when you ask and actually answer, they start leading you there. Dude, I don't need a babysitter! Let me try to keep my mind fresh and let it work to hunt something down!!     Home at 11:30pm on the dizzy dot! I'm glad I took the 295/301 route as I was able to pull over in a parking lot and watch the rocket launch!! That route added over an hour to the trip but all's well when you don't have to deal with Richmond/DC at rush hour. Thanks again for all of your suggestions!! There's no place like home!!
