  1. If you wanr to start a thread about Obama, by all means feel free. The fact is when one of your fucking idiot mouth pieces from the right gets caught in an outright lie you need to change the subject. Restoring honer my ass Just the thought of Beck in his magic Mormon underwear is too much, he is a fucking deranged idiot.
  2. So am I correct in believing that one who disobeys Obama is disobeying God? Romans 13 1Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves.
  3. Show me one from the new covenant. Matt 5:17-18: "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. I tell you the truth, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished." Is he telling the truth?
  4. On August 6, 2009 Gibbs commented, "You couldn't sell this script in Hollywood," and summarized the contentions that he considered "totally crazy": A pregnant woman leaves her home to go overseas to have a child — who there’s not a passport for — so is in cahoots with someone…to smuggle that child, that previously doesn’t exist on a government roll somewhere back into the country and has the amazing foresight to place birth announcements in the Hawaii newspapers? All while this is transpiring in cahoots with those in the border, all so some kid named Barack Obama could run for President 46 and a half years later.[
  5. I guess everyone in the military from Hawaii needs to pony up with a "real" birth certificate. I love how the article keeps refering to the president using his middle name, no racism here. Get a life.
  6. Why is it that the people who claim the government is never to be trusted, have no problem trusting them when they then execute a person?
  7. How many crazy Extremist Right-Wingers on here sound like this guy? http://www.theonion.com/articles/man-already-knows-everything-he-needs-to-know-abou,17990/
  8. The funny thing is, in Iran he would be considered from the right.
  9. Rather ironic the song was written by someone who was a slave ship captain and who even after he retired still invested in the slave trade. I will never listen to this song the same way again
  10. Typical redirection in the forms here, within 1 post, the thread shifted from Beck and Palin to attacking Obama. I don't think Beck will ever run for office, but Palin on the other hand will. Their are plenty of republican Presidential hopefulls who I would never vote for, and if elected I would certainly bitch and moan about it. Romney, Pawlenty, and Huckabee are pretty extreme in their views, but I do not doubt their basic intelligence and education. Sarah on the other hand... Nothing could be no more terrifying than seeing Sarah get the nomination. She knows nothing of world history, current events, economics. I would love to see her try and find more than 3 or 4 countries on a globe. Look at the statements she made about Dr Laura having her advertisers pull out: she stated this violated Laura's right to freedom of speech. How stupid can you be to think this, let alone say it. People like Palin because she comes off as the girl next door, as one of us average Joe's, not some Washington elitist. nothing wrong with being elite, I prefer my doctor, accountant, or airline pilot to be elite, who wouldn't. Same goes for President, Who wants some flunkee that could not even complete her commitment as Governor. Throw in the creepy religious practices and she is the last person this country needs to be on any portion of the next Republican ticket.
  11. No, it said that women were being forced to submit to the court's decisions. In civil matters only between women that agree, it's like arbitration. If you can find a case, where a woman did not consent, and then was not able to have the case heard in a civil court, I would be shocked. http://www.guardian.co.uk/law/2010/jul/05/sharia-law-religious-courts
  12. The title of the thread is just a bit misleading, while I am no fan of Sharia law, The video only claimed that it was practiced between consenting Muslims in civil matters. They did bring up the issue of the rights of Muslim women, but then again, the Duggar Dad practices many of the same abuses of Islamic fundamentalist on his own daughters.
  13. Excuse me while I go and stick a finger down my throat.
  14. Just found out that Glen beck is a Mormon, what a nut. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=USpeolBTKIo Rather ironic that he belongs to a church that just 35 years ago refused to let blacks in the church, and only changed the rules after the church president claimed that God spoke to him.
  15. The almighty God, speaking thru his choosen one Glen Beck, will fundamental change the US today. I am on the edge of my seat. NBC, msnbc.com and news services updated 2 hours 48 minutes ago Share Print Font: + - Glenn Beck promised his Restoring Honor rally at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. Saturday would fundamentally transform the U.S., sounding a deeply religious note in advance of the controversial event. Some 100,000 conservative, tea party supporters — including potential 2012 presidential candidate Sarah Palin — are expected at the demonstration on the same spot where Martin Luther King delivered his "I Have a Dream" speech 47 years ago to the day. Beck, a Fox News personality and a conservative favorite, has insisted it is just a coincidence that the rally is being held on the anniversary, but the event has drawn criticism from modern day civil rights leaders. And a conservative blog about the event, which suggested some areas of Washington were unsafe and said the city was populated by refugees, led to accusations of racism . Beck and other organizers say the aim of the rally is to pay tribute to America's military personnel and others "who embody our nation's founding principles of integrity, truth and honor." The broadcaster toured the site Friday as supporters cheered. Speaking at an event at the Kennedy Center Friday night, Beck emphasized the religious aspect of his message, The Washington Post reported. "We are 12 hours away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America," Beck said, according to the Post. "It has nothing to do with this city or politics. It has everything to do with God almighty." "This is the beginning of the great awakening of America ... We must give voice to what God says we must do," he added. "My message to you tonight is stand where He wants you to stand and trust in the Lord. If He tells you to do it, do it. If you can't figure it out, He will. Just do it."
  16. I rather enjoy her post, I think some here are just a little too sensitve when it comes from the left. This thread was mearly pointing out the hypocrites from the right who wish to deny some their rights based on the same behaivor that they them selves practice.
  17. maybe they're just manly men. Though it made for nice press, I think that conclusion may be a tiny bit simplified. Although antidotal, I always noticed when I was younger, if I was in a group of several guys, around 6-10, when ever the subject of gays came up, there was always 1 or 2 that just had to let loose with a tirade of anti gay shit. These guys just seemed to way over react with talk about kicking their ass and they should all be killed and this and that. Many of these same guys I would later find were Gay.
  18. You guys never cease to amaze me.
  19. Refrain from name calling? you must mean just like the Limbaugh's, Hannity's, the becks and the rest of the right wing mouth pieces.
  20. There is a simple explanation of why so many Republicans are homophobic: they are repressing their own gay tendencies. Their was a study a few years back where a control group of men were ask their views about Gays. They were then shown an assortment of porn with blood pressure cuffs on their penis to measure arousal. Not surprising, the ones expressing the most ant-gay sentiments were the ones that had the most arousal from subjects who described themselves as straight. This study was not surprising to me and now when ever I see someone who is very homophobic, I think back to that study. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8772014
  21. This is a very good explanation of the Mormon's in five minutes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFZ1jVO3-OE
  22. I never did understand why a man would want another man's mouth on their ass, it just has never appealed to me. but then again viva la difference.
  23. Me look like an idiot? you are the one promoting the belief in nothing more than an adult version of the tooth fairy. Now be a good Christian and go turn the other cheek for me.
  24. You mean like your cut and paste of Revelations above?
