It appears the police did not need much that conflicts with thier version of the nights events. One thing I am certain that will emerge, even if their are no arrest and convictions, the Sandford PD was a joke. The inability of the PD to do compedent investigation will be 90% of Zimmerman's defense.

Maybe you should be writing policy for all PD's. What you think is their "duty" is irrelevant. A homicide has just occurred, the shooter is reporting that he has had his nose broken along with his head slammed against the ground. He was then placed under arrest, and not transported to a hospital. When your in police custody, the police, if for no other reason than to cover their own ass, know this and will take you to get looked at by an MD Have yet to see one Talking head cop on tv sat what a great job the local PD did.

It happens all the time with injuries that do not have the potential for a TBI. When a head injury happens, the police have a duty to transport. Not to mention to have all the wounds indexed for any future legal proceedings.

Just watched the footage of Zimmerman being brought into the police station. For a man who just had his nose broken and the back of his head pounded into the ground, not a drop of blood, abrasion, or any signs of a what he described happened to him are visible.

That's the whole point, the police decided they had all the facts gatherted just hours after the shooting. They completly botched the investigation, today they admited that someone in their department leaked infomation that was confidential.

If the child was walking lawfully home and he noticed he was being followed, and then confronted by an armed stranger, perhaps he was in fear of his life and attempted to defend himself. If that's what happened, then this would explain why Jorges wansn't arrested. You cannot assault someone whom you think is following you. Try reading the whole thing, I know you're capable.
