Stopped by on short notice to try to get a jump in. Was met by the owner Tom Dolphin and greeted with a smile and shown around the place and made to feel very welcome. Dispite having a fair amount of tandems and exp. jumpers we have very little wait to get on a load. Everyone from staff to regulars were very nice folks. Huge landing area and tons of outs, nothing but farm land for miles, huge swoop pond to the south of the dz. Couldn't stay for the invite for supper, but I'm sure it would have been fun to take over to local watering hole with the MRVS gang and trade those No shit there I was stories........ Good to see my old friend Tom again. So if yer passing by stop in and make a few it's a nice place.

Sorry for the loss of your bro. As to your having every excuse under the sun as to why you can't jump, every one of them is a lameass copout on your part! If you really wanted jump you would find a way to ballance your time and also earn money at the dz to afford to not only pay your bills but make jumps as well. You can post all these bullshit reason as to why this or that won't work for you, but to many of us here have done it or shown others how to do it. The fact is your just friken lazy and want it handed to you just like all the other drive thru wannabees we see these days. You want to jump, then learn to pack and work your ass off doing it, you'll not only be able to make jumps but earn some extra bread to pay your bills. The more jobs on a dz your able to do the better pay checks you earn, pretty stupid of you scoff at learning the manifest job, that was step one of many jobs on the dz one could do and learn. There are many of us here that not only did manifest but we also were packing and fueling planes, mowing grass, taking out the trash, answering the phone and a whole host of other dz jobs to make our dreams happen, it's called multi tasking. The main reason I siad that was becasue if you don't state themn in your ad on here you get flooded with all kinds of emails from the scams. That is totally the point and it's a lot cheaper to travel with in the USA or Canada to locate and retrive my goods or beat some ass. Just becasue someone holds them self out to be a broker don't mean their not a crook. Fill out your profile info would be a help and use a broker or escrow agent who can be trusted, like a DZO or Rigger who you can verifiy are legit. Why? I guess you really good at back flying. I'm not buying what your selling here. Sounds like yo uneed more time learning to fly your body without a camera on your head. I let go and fly . If your on the hill and a little early you up track or your on time you fly your slot and get the footage, you have to fly the wind no matter where it's coming from.....FLY IT! These questions are pretty basic stuff and things one would be learning by making regular jumps and even making training jumps with TM's willing to risk their MFG rating, granted you live in the great white north and have your own rules to follow so I'm not going to play the USPA BSR card. HOWEVER there is a good reason why RWS and Strong both require anyone doing not only RW with TDM's but flying camera to have the 500 jumps. Well as a person who believe's that in this country I'm able to do what I want to my property that own and who the fuck are you to say I can't put a fence up with electirc and razor wire, flood light every two feet and have it patrolled by two big ass german shepards trained to eat the nut sack of any stupid ass skydiver who thinks their rights over rule my right to keep your sorry ass swoopers off my grass if I so choose to do so, in fact in some states I could shoot your ass once you step over the property line. This is one of the problems in this country where special interest groups whine and cry about other peoples legal rights and then try to get lawyers and laws passed to get their way and trample on others peoples right because they don't like the fact that some one put up a fence blocking your swoop runout lane onto HIS property. That is one of the problems with the sport today is all the people who fucking think their special because they make a skydive. Not S folded on it's side like a wart, S fold it on top of the apex and work your way down to the stabs and they go on top with those few bits of line, then close it up. The way your talking sounds like a d-bag stuff, with the canopy on it's side. I have sleeves, POD's & D-bagged PC's each has there own pro's and con's. For example, Packing my Jumbo PC in it's sleeve into a style master is no fuss. Now packing my PAP in a sleeve into my Paratwin (piggy) is a bitch and a half and if it's not folded just right in there it's a hell of a work out! So I can see down the road putting the PAP into a POD for easy container closing. And my SST has a MK1 in a D-bag, to those who never packed a shit load of T-10's in direct bags, they think stuffing that MK1 into a d-bag is a pain, while I find it easy. What he said, but all my POD's open up all the way and lay flat. If yours is the same, open it all up and slide it down the crowns to the apex and dress under the canopy so it's laying out flat, then make your folds like Arvel said, close side flaps then the or locking flap or California flap (if you have one), stow lines and crowns. If it's the one in Greensburg In. the OP is talking about, then yes he is a knee jerk kind of guy, it would seem. A few times jumpers have landed there or followed a cutaway on to his property and were met with a shotgun in the face and he called the cops. I know Bob has tried to make nice over the years and talk to the guy, his reply was to combine a big FUCK YOU in his field.
