I had about 200 contracts already in on out of the money puts placed on the Q's. Cheap and they hit huge I was lucky. I tried to get more stuff in but it was impossible for me as well and my platform is the fastest out there. There was no "glitch" in the terms everyone is thinking about. The NYSE slowed the market bc the selloff was real. This is part of our model but other exchanges still have the choice to trade through us at normal speed and they did. There was also a fear factor involved.... when traders look at key note market equities like P&G and it is tanking that will quickly scare the shit of them and they will sell by emotion and reaction. That is pretty much what happend but as soon as people realized it they jumped back in and the market closed where it should have yesterday.... around the same mark it was down before the "panic". Lucky... no one said the sky is falling and I never made any claims about this being a collapse. You love to make calims... the truth is Obama did not cause the recent bullish moves and Obama will not be at fault when this happens either. The market is simply not that strong right now. There are a lot of weak legs and all it takes is a big blow to one of those legs and what happened yesterday can happpen. Like I have said this whole time...... be careful what you call a strong market as it could retrace deeply in the blink of an eye. So keep this wing and go get some good canopy specific coaching. You'll learn things you didn;t know you didn;t know about parachute flight. +1 This is what you should be doing. There is soooo much that canopy can do at that wing loading. I am trying to find another canopy course for more advanced skills. I don't think this should ever stop. This is not correct. Your credit is only a piece of it. He/She who has the money has the primary spot. If you have one with great credit and one with bad credit but the one with bad credit make shte most money they are the primary and what most of the loan is based off of including the rate. Income or ability to pay is very important. Credit takes a back seat for getting a loan. If you are above minimums (credit score) then you are going to get a loan if you have the money but the money determines how much where credit decides what rate. A person with great credit and little income will be denied faster than a person with mediocre or bad credit that has the income. Very little money means adding her to the mtg. increases debts over all with not much to offset them so really you probably qualify better on your own. I did my first jump in 1998 (tandem) out of a Twin Beech. On jump run the pilot said exit and the TI said no (clouds) then a screaming match began between another Ti the pilot and the TI refusing to exit. The load was all tandem and I was last to exit. My friends and I were looking at each other freaking out not knowing what was going on. Everyone ended up exiting but there was no 2nd pass so I(we) landed waaaay out. There were no clouds when I exited and the skydive was great. I never really understood what happened that day until I came back to the sport and learned everything. To this day I can remember how much it freaked me out. I had no idea what was going on and I was already nervous bc it was my first jump. I still remember that and bc of this and the why's of not exiting in or just above clouds..... I don't do it. My DZ is pretty strict about all of this but I was put into a situation at another DZ and just refused to jump. The pilot made a 2nd pass and I made my exit. I think the key word there is devout and if that means intolerant as well. For me personally I don't care what religion my SO is as long as she doesn’t try to force it on me, and I personally don't ever try to force my view ( which I am constantly questioning any way). I think forcing some one to choose a faith is like forcing someone to love you. Its just bull shit. I agree with the forcing of faith.... its stupid and really cannot be done but devout does not mean intolerant necessarily. I have my faith and I consider myself devout. I have dated girls that were devout or had another faith but I could not marry them bc I would not want the conflict with kids or with the personal belief I have. I still love and respect people of different faiths or of no faith but that does not mean I can marry them. That is a HUGE part of my life and probably of theirs so if thhat does not jive I don't really see it working. It is a tough spot really but the OP does not seem to be in this type on conflict.
