the only way that the windings may go is if the coating on the wire making up the windings melt or get peeled away and creates a short....highly unlikely. in the starters ive rebuilt, 9 times outa 10 its the solinoid or brushes getting jammed or wore out that needs to be replaced The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

Are military people more neat and diciplined than civilians?
LaRusic replied to Acoisa's topic in The Bonfire
doubt it, my apartment is usually a mess, not dirty just cluttered with dive gear, rock climbing gear, skydive stuff. On the other hand when i go to work, my uniform, boots are in imaculate condition. Im more diciplined and neat at work, not really at home haha The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10 -

I roll the tail up when im doing the pack, when i lay it down i proceed to fold it underneath as opposed to folding it on top as seen in the video. ive never had a problem with any of the folds coming open before placing it in the bag but i can see how it can happen. Is there any difference in the way the canopy opens or is this just an easier way of putting the canopy neatly into the bag? once the canopy is on the ground, the person folds the sides into the middle. what is the benefit to doing this as opposed to rolling it underneath? The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

my first rig....affraid for sabre's hard openings
LaRusic replied to darren71's topic in Gear and Rigging
my sabre 170 has a slight tweak to it, when i bought it used, the person before had a slightly larger slider on it. the openings are beauty at around 600 feet. I quarter the slider and do nothing with the nose. The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10 -
basically israel has kept on with the strikes, today they hit a 5 storey building on a womens wing of an islamic university. israel has also doubled the number of troops around the boarder. they have also put a military bufferzone around not letting civilians or press in. hamas still firing rockets into israel The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

this was a pretty intersting read www.torontosun.com/comment/editorial/2008/12/29/7869571-sun.html The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10 -
meh i agree, thats why i dont ask questions here I've read a lot of the questions where people say "if you use the search function you will find your answer" then just for shits and giggles i try to find the answer....and end up sifting through a ton of threads with the same response....use the search button. very helpful this is why i stick to the bonfire and only make occasional comments to the actual skydiving board if i wanna know something i ask my instructors, i trust them, i dont trust people online The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

i like the tailgate of the casa and the c130 herc. Funniest thing was sitting in the casa going up for our first jump on the military airborne para course. (herc was broken so we had a casa rented) At the time i had already 15 civy jumps and for everyone else on my load this was their first. as we got in the air they dropped the ramp so everyone could see out.....once we were standing at the ramp ready to exit the 2 people behind me in the jump order were talking about how high we were....just before the green light light i said wow we are low (1200ft ish) it was a fun ride....until landing The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

This is pretty well exactally how the accuracy trick was taught to me, and its AWESOME!! Where i jump there is a very small landing area.....bout 80metres by 80 meters....landing off is not a big deal because the surrounding area is just not nice cut grass, its soybean field (besides the runways). I used to have lots of trouble landing on the short grass till i was taught the accuracy trick, landing within 20ft of our target cone is easy now(last 40 jumps) cause like everyone has said...the trick works 100% of the time.
