I agree 100% people need to get off the damn phone when driving. Mythbusters also proved it lowers ur driving ability. I was driving my motorcycle when the woman in the lane next to me decided to take my lane without looking......she was talking on a cell phone.....my horn didnt get her attention but my foot in her door sure did when she nearly pushed me into on coming traffic. So are you more of a skydiver if you sleep with more than one? mistake proofing things is a great idea....only problem is, people will just find new and creative ways of making mistakes with it. kinda goes with most things not just skydiving, im a tech in the army and when we get new things that are supposed to be idiot proof, we get some amazing things that they have done with it that just makes you shake your head. Have you thought about buying used? there are lots of good used gear out there that could save you a lot of money. and for all those that mention the search thing, is there any way to have a sticky made up with with some info about beginner/intermediate canopies and WL so maybe ya can combat being asked the same question over and over....i think it would help generate some more specific questions The Altitude above you, the runway behind you, and the fuel not in the plane are totally worthless Dudeist Skydiver # 10

Just rememeber, you are about to jump out of a plane with a big piece of nylon there to save your life.....fucking rights its scary, especially for the first few times. Best thing i have found, not only in skydiving but in scuba and rock climbing, is trust in my gear, my training and the fact that there have been hundreds of thousands of people before me that have done it. dont worry about conquering all right away, its a slow process, it wasnt until about jump 50 that i was comfortable with thought of diving out of a plane.if it wasnt scarey it wouldnt be fun
