About how many KNOTS do you know how to tie?

Um...if I meet you in Savannah, am I going to leave with all my organs intact? If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -

After the word "desired," type a [ followed by a / followed by a "b" followed by a ]. So it'll look like [ / b ] but without the spaces. If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -

It's really too bad that Cali is too far to drive in a weekend. Happy birthday, even if this is the wrong thread. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -

How about silk scarves, sweetie? Sure. First I gag you, then I tie your fingers together. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -
Out! Out, damned spot! Out of my thread with your neo-hippie-tree-hugger attitude! In all seriousness, I never go anywhere. I made a trip to BD, and I was in NC the following weekend. Other than that, I haven't been anywhere but work (3.5 miles each way) since. I've got a lot of gas credit saved up here, and I am going north on I-95 until I find some magic rocks. So there. Besides which, you lazy thing, you just don't want to pack. If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

No sammiches for you. All I can say is you must be pretty desperate for a packer if you'd let me pack for you. I mean, I'm a good packer...but you're pretty trusting, all things considered. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

no they are real.... I guess I'll have to see for myself. If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

The plan at the moment is to drive straight up I-95. I'm going to get my shit together and take a nap, and then, if I'm still motivated, I'm on my way. Somewhere. Unless I get Krisanne's address in the meantime. Otherwise, I'll just be another weekend postwhore. LisaMarie, where exactly in Georgia are you, i.e., how far off the interstate? If it's close, I'll stop and say hi. Baby says "no tape for you" but I get the feeling she'd really rather stay home this time anyway. And I do have to go to work Tuesday. They've gotten one resume for my job, but there are no interviews yet, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be another 1.5 months of work for me. Anyway, time to be pack... rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

If I'm never leaving, I have to bring the cat. She travels pretty well, but I don't take her on long trips (just to the grocery store) unless I have to. She's great in the car and great company, but her presence does limit the things I can do. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Very few. But I'm great with duct tape and neckties. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb -
Rhonda Lea! Send me all your money! Ya need it? Send me your address. But if I do that, everyone can expect to see me online all weekend. I'll definitely be staying home. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Rhonda, listen to this person...she has some wise things to say....and is a very nice person. I always listen to Krisanne.

Come to the greatest state of all, AZ, for which I think you have a particular affinity... Unfortunately for me, Greg prefers European women. (I'm glad I know him anyway.) And the real toe-curling love of my life, Jack Jeffries, well...y'know, he kissed my cheek once, and I didn't wash my face for a week afterward. I could go on and on about some of those Arizona boys...but I still can't stand Arizona. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

Thinkin' about it, but I'm not quite ready to start jumping again. I want my life to be a little more settled, and right now, everything is up in the air...except me, of course. I haven't made a jump since July 18, 2001. It was just a hop 'n pop, and I didn't really expect it to be my last jump, but even though I hung onto my gear for another year, it turned out to be exactly that. Anyway, I'm starting to think that instead of driving, I'm going to stay home, do some packing, catch up all my accumulated PMs (sorry, sorry, sorry to those who think I'm a total loser) and... Gak! That doesn't sound like much fun, does it? Three whole days. And I love to drive. What to do? What to do? rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

800 miles/12 hours one way, more or less. As I said.... rl 4 hours 1 way sounds alot more reasonable... Cuba, remember? If I go south, I end up in the Atlantic Ocean. I remember coming back from Bridge Day. I quit smoking about three hours after I crossed the Florida border, and I didn't have another one until I had a nicotine fit on the way back...right about the same place I was when I quit. The same thing happened the next weekend when I went to NC. It must be something in the air, because I was drinking bottled water. rl If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

The way I'm feeling right now, I'd keep driving till I hit Cuba. Probably not a good idea. rl Note to the smartass in Virginia...bite me. If you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb
