  1. Gee... the article says he's done nothing wrong. Just a lot of black helicopter conspiracy stuff we always get from the lefties. I also took a little time to check this site out. I think it's wondeful you hold sites like this in such high regard. Just remember this nect time you criticize Fox News.
  2. Perhaps your brain needs a little jogging. Does Lawrence Livermore Labs ring a bell? http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/stories/1999/05/20/china.spy/
  3. I didn't see where they said the technology was transferred to the Chinese.
  4. You seem to keep forgetting that maybe he had Bad intel or intentionally ignored intel going through all administrations back to FDR.? Colon Powell said we had pictures of 600 sites where we were sure WMDs were stored. Last I heard 400 had been checked (months ago) and no weapons found. There was one report early on about drums suspected to contain Sarin gas but they needed further testing. Never heard about them again. Two Al Samud missles were found on a trailer parked in the woods. Missles of the same type that were being actively destroyed. Sounds to me like a truck driver decided not being in that truck with an invasion going on was a good idea. Again we have an issue of which president did the right thing. The intelligence gatherers don't change with the administration, only the administrations interpretation of the intel does I don't see how you can say one president was stupid and ignored good intel and another was stupid and paid attention to bad intel. The last time Saddam used serious weapons of mass destruction was when the US government supplied them or the technology to him in the 80's. The plans used to invade Iraq were drawn up by Dick and Rummy during the GHWB administration and dusted off as soon as 9/11 happened. I don't know why I let myself get sucked in to these. Perhaps you can explain to us why The UN and Clinton Administration all thought he had WMD's.
  5. Interesting indeed. Clinton as President was obligated to enforce the laws of our land and he didn't. Now you think GWB was supposed to know what was going on inside a company he had no interest in. Yes, your logic is VERY INTERESTING INDEED. edited for spelling. I fail to understand. Enron, a company run by a buddy of GWB, defrauds investors of $billions. Neither Clinton nor GWB's administrations detect it, which shows that Clinton is evil while Dubya just a friend who's been deceived. Is that what you're saying? *** No thats NOT what I'm saying and you know it. Do you know whats going on inside of corporations your friends run? Oh, sorry, I forgot, you wouldn't know anyone who ran a corporation because they are all evil.
  6. You must be thinking of those corporations like Enron, right? The one run by GWB's friend Ken Lay. The one that consulted on the current administration's still secret energy policy. Corporations like the ones that donated $$$$ to Bush's election campaign. Yes, blame Clinton for their actions. Or we could do as you suggest and blame GWB who had no responsibility to enforce FEDERAL LAW. Lefties were so eager to claim Clinton was responsibe for everything good that happened during the 90's but so quick to distance themselves from the underlying seediness Clinton took no actions to prevent
  7. So . . . when Enron does something bad . . . it's Clinton's fault even though he's not affiliated with them in any way, shape or form, but it has nothing to do with GWB, who is? Interesting. *** Interesting indeed. Clinton as President was obligated to enforce the laws of our land and he didn't. Now you think GWB was supposed to know what was going on inside a company he had no interest in. Yes, your logic is VERY INTERESTING INDEED. edited for spelling.
  8. If Saddam was told by the UN to get rid of WMD, and there seem to be no WMD in Iraq, then how exactly did he fail to comply? *** He was told to disclose where the WMD's he admitted he had after the first Gulf War. It never was a question whether he had them, only a question of what he did with them. You may also have forgotten he kicked the UN Inspectors out when they wanted more access to sites he could have been hiding them. SH even admitted to having Chemical Weapons. When asked what he did with them, he repled, "We destroyed them". When asked to show the Inspectors the site they were destroyed at (since you don't just pour them down the drain) SH went into a rant about how unfair the inspections were and how the sanctions were hurting the Iraqi People. Of course we could have just played nicey nice and taken his word he got rid of them. That what you think we should have done?
  9. Where are those WMD again? Bottom line: politicians lie. However, I'd rather have a President lie about a blowjob than lie about why he is sending American soldiers off to get killed. *** I love how the lefties now act like the only thing Clinton ever did wrong was get a blow job. How about sitting aroun getting a blow job while corporations were transferring missle technology to the Chinese? Thats going to come back to haunt us for generations to come. How about sitting around getting a blow job while the looming threat of terrorism built up and doing practically nothing about it other than launching a few missles at OBL? How about refusing to take responsibility for the many people who died in Waco. I remember him saying "You'll have to talk to Janet Reno about that one heh, heh". How about sitting around getting a blow job as Corporations falsified their books and bilked innocent investors out of their life savings? Yeah right, the only thing Clinton ever did wrong was get a blow job with his head stuck so far up his butt, GWB is having to take the hits for Clintons Ostrichism.
  10. Personally, I'm against the death penalty. However I think the system needs major reform. I believe life in prison should be just that. Life in prison. I also believe felons convicted of certain violent and particularly heinious crimes should get life at HARD LABOR. This should be done in as remote a location as possible. I believe DNA testing, when applicable, should be employed on every case where it could establish guilt or innocence. I believe a penal system whose focus is more on reform for non-violent offenders is necessary including drug rehab for those convicted of lesser drug crimes is necessary.
  11. I'm done with this thread! Just pisses me off that so many people can't see the future problems we'll have from this "bible class of an adminsitration". *** Then you are going to walk around in a really bad mood if you continue to post here. It pisses a lot of people off that some can't understand something needed to be done in the Middle East. That from both WTC attempts, the Marine Barracks bombing, the Achille Laurel, the USS Cole etc. American had either not reacted strongly or at all. Now we have. Now change is coming to the M.E. A much needed change. School books which taught hatred towards America are being re-written, Mosques are toning down their anti-semitic rhetoric, Israel and the Palestinians are closer than ever to reaching an agreement to live in peace, Libya has decided to re-enter the the Global Community, some countries will have elections. No not everything is perfect in the world, nor is it easy. Change is never easy. Sometimes people have to die for change to occur. It's a sad fact but it's true. Always has been, always will be. Some of us understand this, some of us don't.
  12. Ok, I had just about decided not to post to this again, but I've got to respond to this. You see, I happened to have been overseas (in the middle east for that matter), during the whole Lewinski affair and you're right, they were laughing at us. But not because Clinton was getting his dick sucked, or asking what the definition of "is" is... but because the Republicans in the legislature and apparently the American public actually gave a fuck what the president was doing, or who, as the case may have been. I mean hell, those people know what it's like to live with terrorism, they face it every day. You and I my friend, unless you just happen to live smack dab in NYC, have not a clue what living with terrorism is, and none of us do. So, we can spend time worrying about who's getting their dick sucked. Personally, I'd rather have a president who's getting it whenever he wants it. I think the stress release would be beneficial to our nation. Hmm, 8 yrs of unprecedented peace and economic prosperity.... I think what you mean here is 8 years of pretending everything was right in the world. Ignoring the growing problem with terrorism, ignoring problems of the US economy by claiming everything was great when under the seedy underbelly of American Corporations like Enron lurked criminal activity of investors bilked of their life savings. Then there was Waco, The 1st WTC bombing etc, etc, etc. Yep that sure was a wonderful time of peace and prosperity. BTW I'm curious if anyone other than me has purchased any Haliburton Stock.
  13. fuck that, it cost us more money to keep one such O2 thief in prison for a year than it did to send me A 1982 study by the abolitionist New York State Defenders Association -- based on proposed (but never enacted) legislation to reinstate capital punishment in New York (Governor Mario Cuomo has vetoed death penalty legislation seven times in recent years -- speculated that a capital case involving only the first three levels of review (trial and penalty, appeal to the state Court of Appeals, and review by the U.S. Supreme Court) would cost $1.8 million per case, compared to the projected cost of imprisoning a felon for 40 years of $602,000. In another study, the Miami Herald calculated that it had cost Florida taxpayers $57.2 million to execute 18 men ($3.17 million each), whereas keeping a prisoner in jail for life (40 years) costs $515,964 ($12,899.91 per year). Abolitionists tend, we suspect, to exaggerate death-penalty costs while understating the expense of life imprisonment. According to the Justice Department, for instance, it costs around $20,000 a year to house a prisoner ($1 million over 40 years). Other sources peg it as high as $25,000.
  14. Thought some might enjoy this. Not taken by me.
  15. Where do you suppose they got the money to buy the products?
  16. I don't recall where I read it but there is some indication Al Qaeda might have recruited Airline Pilots.
  17. If you go to MSNBC's web site, there is a link to see how well you would do as a security screener. I tried it and was unable to identify which bags contained items that posed a security threat and which were harmless. I will be more patient with the screeners next time I fly.
  18. If you will wipe the foam from your mouth and listen for a second you might understand what Goose is trying to say. He isn't telling you not to disagree with Bill, he's telling you are being disagreeable.
  19. Yes, I think you backpeddled and rephrased your statements enough. You can stop now.
  20. I call it backpeddling. But yes, if you feel you need to elaborate more please do so if only for the entertainment value.
  21. Actually, yes you did say that. Heres the quote:
  22. I think some people discuss thing to learn and some discuss them to to feed their ego by winning an arguement. It is the later group that usually gets emotional.
  23. At what point in this thread did this occur? Someone disagreed with you and posted SEVERAL news sources to support their position, get over it. 3) If nobody reacts to a post from the “club” for about 30 minutes – it will be claimed that those “lefties” have no come back or are too scared… This is EXACTLY what YOU just did. 5) Always attack in packs and do not forget to congratulate each other for doing so.*** A pack is 2 people?? Where did anyone attack you? By disagreeing. ***Those threads are of course “dead”. People who enjoy a civil and useful discussion cannot be bothered to continue or people get pissed off with the “club” and end up in name calling contests. I am in the first category. Good night. No you are in the second catagory. You are the one who got pissed off and defensive.
