IRS Admits Targeting Conservative Groups
Gravitymaster replied to Gravitymaster's topic in Speakers Corner
Why, do groups with "Occupy" in their name speak out vociferously against having to pay tax, consider that taxes are theft, etc? If I were in the IRS the groups I'd target would be the ones that clearly object to paying taxes. Like the Tea Party, or groups with Patriot in their name, for example. Or the guy who said this: "How much more money do we want to steal from the American people to fund more government?" That was John Boehner. So you'd target groups with political positions that you don't like, that have done nothing against the law. Nice. Even the IRS and the president know that is not ok. Do you realize how far beyond left wing you sound? Most on the far left are just one step away from becoming fascists. -

I wonder how many groups with "Occupy"in their name were targeted? -
These investigations will go nowhere, as usual. Hillary will be damaged but I suspect that has been taken into consideration. Remember, the Obama wing of the Democratic Party does not get along we'll with the Clinton wing. Biden and possibly Kerry have Presidential aspirations.

Better take a gun with you.

You specifically asked him not to post articles from The Blaze. Hellololololololo...............
-
If you posted an article from a source I considered crap, I wouldn't bother reading it. I would not whine and ask for additional sources, if I wanted to read something I considered more credible about a topic, I'd find it on my own. So basically, first you make up your mind and then you set out to confirm it. I can see you were not an Honor Roll student.

Nobody's making you click on the links. Take some personal responsibility.

I don't doubt what you say. This technology is just in its' infancy and will definitely be improved upon.
-
Just give them a little time to perfect the technology. Then we can start cranking out AR-15's and AK-47's as needed. Might even be able to make a bazooka.

I wonder if you can make a 3D printer with a 3D printer?

Stephen Hawking joins academic boycott of Israel

Intelligence cannot be taught. Knowledge can only be taught. Wisdom requires both. Blues, Dave You are missing the point. Wisdom does not require a PhD. -

Then how does it develop, because most 15-year-olds aren't very wise at all. Wendy P. I think Dekker is older than 15. You do realize this thread is about Hawking, right? -

One day you will learn wisdom cannot be taught. -

A higher education does not mean that someone has wisdom. Wisdom is what is needed to deal with social issues, not a PhD in physics. -

Gun violence in US has fallen dramatically over past 20 years
Gravitymaster replied to regulator's topic in Speakers Corner
Good journalism, like good science, accepts that information is what it is, and that if theories are weakened or disproven, one still shouldn't ignore facts and data. As far as the data, well, if violent crime as a whole has been going down for the last 20 years, it's not surprising that gun violence has also been going down. Wendy P. Except in certain places... like Chicago, where their gun control laws aren't having much of an effect on the inner city shooting rates. Murders down 25% in Chicago so far this year. Fortunately for regular folks, it's mostly these guys who are offing each other. Exactly, let them kill each other. Maybe the Justice Dept. should have a domestic Fast & Furious Operation. -

So criminals have become too fat and lazy to commit crimes? Actually, you might have a point considering all the internet crime. Perhaps we need background checks in order to purchase a computer. -

Why is a physicist's opinion on a social problem any more valid than anyone elses? Higher education does not make someone's opinion more right outside of their field of study as demonstrated here, daily.
