    Could be due to the fact that Fox viewers tend to be older and perhaps they spend more time watching TV and less time doing other activities such as hanging out on skydiving sites. I'm not claiming to know why, just saying it isn't necessarily due to them watching Fox. MSNBC, ABC, CNN etc. get many facts wrong as well and have been caught fabricating stories also.

    Bad analogy. One need never have made a skydive to know how to pack a reserve or a main or to understand how the whole system functions.

    That Fox News viewers got facts wrong does not mean it's due to misinformation they recieved from Fox. People get facts wrong for a variety of reasons. Age being one of them.

    I'd hardly consider a gang gunning down a Police Officer the same as targeting innocent civilians.

    Yeah, a woman with no luggage, gets on a plane and tell the crew she has a surgically implanted device. The reaction should have been to tell everyone on the plane. have them all burst out in laughter and then serve everyone an extra cocktail for free.

Bush was criticized for ignoring a memo months before 911 that simply said that Al Qaeda was planning attacks on the U.S. Now we have many knowledgable people telling us that we need to secure the borders because Islamic radicals are infiltrating out country across our Southern Border and nobody takes it very seriously. You asked for more proof. If you research Michael Scheuer, you will discover he is very credible as he headed the Bin Laden task force for the CIA under the Clinton Presidency. If you won't take his word for it and you won't take the word of the Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committees on Terrorism what would it take to convince you? An actual terrorist attack? I sure hope not.

    You made a blanket statement about Conservatives. You seem to have trouble seperating Republicans from Conservatives and you seem to have trouble figuring out that there's not a clear group-think. Some of us just want government out of our lives, period and are consistent in our thinking. Some of us also don't care for "think about the children" as a justification for more government intrusion into our lives. Back on point. I have no problem with the government requiring children under a certain age to wear a seatbelt as there surely are irresponsible parents. I do not want the government telling me, as an adult, that I have to wear a seatbelt (even though I do) a motorcycle helmet (even though I do) or that I have to wear an AAD (even though I do).

    Now that GM has been introduced into this case, it's really confusing. (I think lawrocket started it, but now you're doing it too!) For the record, I had nothing to do with this. I was at home and I have witnesses.
