tough decision: would you give up skydiving, to..
dynamicedge replied to voludo's topic in The Bonfire
I was supposed to go travel to asia with my lovely girlfriend but decided at the last minute to skip town to go do my AFF course instead. She said it was either her or skydiving. I said skydiving, walked out of her bedroom and that was the last time i ever saw her. Best thing that ever happened to me. -
The plastic things on the end of shoelaces are called aglets.

I guess I should rephrase that. I would STILL play with myself all the time.

I've looked at clouds from both sides now....

I'm sure there's a few in the 'women only' forum. Dare we venture behind enemy lines? -

I'm not exactly one to sweep the ladies off their feet so finding a willing participant without constituting rape would be somewhat of a difficult task. Otherwise it would be easy, for 50-60 sec. during free fall is more than enough time for me to get the job done and have time for a smoke. Cranking it under canopy is much more fessible. The only difficulty that would arise is getting my schlong out of my jumpsuit due to the unltra tight leg straps. -

Has anyone here ever rubbed one out under canopy? I've always wanted to try it. It would bring the art of self gratification to new and wonderful heights. -
Holy crap that's fucked. I've never heard of that happening. Maybe the rules are different where I live but having buyer pay commission is absolutely and completely ridiculous to me. If a seller told me I had to pay his commission I would most likely break his teeth.

I am a house flipper so I deal with these overpaid lowlife crooks all the time. I can assure you(at least where I live) no realtor is going to show their client a house for sale by owner. They will only show homes listed with another real estate agent or themselves. Since you signed no contract that says you owe anybody commission and a buyer never pays commission, only the seller does, the realtor would steer clear of your house.

I BASE jumped off my trailer at the DZ and got a face full of my beer cooler upon landing, busted my lip open and then continued to tumble into a lit fire pit. I used a cold beer to treat my wounds and then drank it. fuck you absinthe!! good times....

congrats bud! glad you enjoyed it. trust me it just keeps getting better. about the leg straps, what i do is before i jump i just get the straps up as high as they will possibly go past my junk and then I sorta do a quick squat so they slide into a nice comfortable position. works for me.

jumping next to a tandem jumper
dynamicedge replied to beacbmsim1's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
My buddy and business colleague is always raggin on me cuz I always talk about how skydiving is awesome and he doesn't think it is at all. I too only have an A license and I've always wanted to be dropped above his house (while he's mowing his lawn) and swoop into his backyard and kick him in the face while i swoop and land and then turn to him and say "that was awesome!". One day.... -
I did my Aff here and it was fantastic! Everyone is super nice and the instructors were extremely helpful no matter what. Caravan goes up with just 4 jumpers to 14000ft AGL. Great parties, good food, loved every minute of it!

Hey new here and to skydiving..need some advice
dynamicedge replied to robbielash10's topic in Safety and Training
Welcome to the skies! I personally feel that doin the whole shibang at once is better so you stay current. Having everything fresh in your memory will make getting through the AFF easier and develop your skills faster. I threw down the dough and did the whole course in one week and felt it was the best way to go. But that's just my opionion. -
The small town vibe is one of the things that attracted me to the sport. I love how when I'm out on a typical daily routine and meet someone who also skydives (rarely happens), we seem to have an instant connection. I say keep it small. I like how at the DZ everybody knows everybody's names. That and I don't want any trouble getting a slot. Skydiving saves lives from mediocrity, let's keep it that way.

Ya I would rather start jumping now and check out the rest of Oz some other day while jumping. Life is all about sacrifices. And I already got my A license. Hopefully I will be able to aquire my B this summer.

Hey there. My names Marcus and I'm a 22year old male livin in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. I'm a noob to the skydiving world. I have 23 jumps. Did my AFF a few months ago while backpacking through Australia after becoming addicted on a tandem. Had to cut my trip short cuz I decided to spend the rest of my coin on the course. Totally worth it. I'll be jumping at Eden North DZ. Just ordered some gear: Mirage G4, PD Sabre2...I have to sell my clothes and switch to domestic discount beer now. yay me. I can't wait!
