Although I'm atheist, I'm fairly certain that bible didn't say anything about laughing at crazy people being a sin. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Do you ever wake up and have some idea stuck in your head that you need to something. And no matter how much you try not to think about it, it just won't go away until you do it. Its like a throbbing headache which just won't go away no matter what you do. Since waking up this morning I had this obsessive idea in my head that I need to make some cookies. I fought throughout the whole day trying not to to think about it and doing my best to ignore it but the thought was stuck in my head and not going away. So finally I had to cave in and bake some cookies. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

I wouldn't mind having one but the big problem is that if I had one I would very likely end up dead within a year of getting one. Plus theres the fact that the Finnish regulator/bureaucrats/whatever absolutely hate motorcycles so they're taxed through the roof. If you walk into a shop and buy a GSX-R1000 brand new it'll cost you 19990,17 EUR or about 25273,57 USD. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

It would be more appropriate to say that women are more conservative drivers and men take more stupid risks. Driving drunk has nothing to do with your driving skills and everything with you being reckless idiot willing to take a massively stupid risks. Here is an excellent way to deal with someone who is hell bent on driving drunk. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

What's the most time you'd be willing to devote to a work commute?
Arvoitus replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in The Bonfire
Currently I'm at around 15 minutes on a bicycle. The only way I'd be willing to do a 2-4 hr commute is that it would be on a train and I could work on my laptop in the train and the employer would accept that so that the time spent commuting would be reduced from the time spent sitting in the office. Why would anyone bungee-jump off a perfectly good bridge?
Arvoitus replied to Andy9o8's topic in The Bonfire
How so?. People dive off bridges, cliffs and high boards every day. Apart from having the bungy attached to her ankles which ultimately didn't affect her too much, what was the problem. The crocs were not a factor, with an infestation ratio of zero. She got a few bruises and got wet. Big deal!!. I think he was critizing the concept of 'if you survived it, it wasn't that dangerous to begin with' attitude that came off of the original statement. Your rights end where my feelings begin. -
No such thing as green power in an atmosphere, like here. In order to make up for "free" solar's lack of reliability issues the fossil burners have to be on in spinning reserve mode to back it up just in case a cloud happens. The fossil burners are not efficient ( or clean) at lower loads. Think running your cars engine in second gear until 4th ,5th and 6th are required to get you there. Don't even get me going on how "green" windmills horizon to horizon are. If you are worth your salt as a mechanical engineer you can figure a lot of machinery requiring huge maintenance for very little actual generation spread across a huge landscape " oh how natuaral" You can back them up with nukes. Although I do agree that windmills are mostly a scam supported by tax payer money and the only real 'green' energy tech is nukes. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Why would anyone bungee-jump off a perfectly good bridge?
Arvoitus replied to Andy9o8's topic in The Bonfire
If you had decided to bungee-jump, why on earth would you do it in a place like Zimbabwe? Your rights end where my feelings begin. -
In the 30's alcohol was illegal also. In my home country weed is illegal cause they couldn't make up their minds about it and ended up flipping a coin about it. The way I understood the poll was that if you'd have to choose which is illegal and which is not, what would you choose. You don't have to smoke it, you can eat it or use a vaporizer. Personally I didn't vote as I don't care for either substance. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

Who was the Playboy Playmate on the month you were born?

True but in this case it seems like an encoding issue. If you copy-paste the bullet char from John's message and save it into a UTF-8 encoded text file it will contain (in hex) the following : E2 80 A2 which is the bullet character encoded in UTF-8. And if you then take the 3 bytes and look them up from CP-1252 (which is, as far as I know, what Outlook will use by default if it doesn't know the encoding) you'll have : E2 = â 80 = € A2 = ¢ Your rights end where my feelings begin.
