    Kicking isn't the only way to get out of a line twist. I only kick when I have to (the twist was down to my neck and pinned my head down and couldn't look up). Otherwise I use the other method. Once you get the twist down to the risers you don't have to do anything, it will usually untwist on its own. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    I think things like this is the result of people memorizing their packing procedures instead of understanding their gear. If anyone understands how and why their gear is supposed to work they won't pack something like that. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    Is it stressful for Americans to live in a world every stranger has to be treated as a potential serial-rapist/mugger? Few weeks ago I was on business trip to China and towards the end of the trip it got pretty tiresome having to treat every single person approaching you as con-artist/scammer. I imagine living your entire life in a place where having to treat everyone you don't know as potential kidney thief would get pretty tiresome. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    When I teach FJC (static line) it begins on saturday, continues on sunday then a rest day and the 3rd day is usually tuesday/wednesday and on the 4th day the students get to jump. They also have to do an EP refresher and exit practice refresher on the jump day before they actually get to jump. I wouldn't feel at all comfortable doing it all in one day and in my experience having it spread out on multiple days helps as they learn better. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    Why is making vodka a long term goal? All you need is a good distiller and you're good to go. And the biggest hurdle in that probably is to not be in a place where owning a distiller for alcohol production isn't illegal. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    I just watched that part low-res on a crappy connection and small screen... almost looked like all 3 of them did the same stunt! I'm fairly certain its an illusion created by the angle and by the distance of the camera. The canopies are just settling right after deployment as the video cuts away making it seem as if they touchdown. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

    Lowest I've ever gone on BASE was 132 ft with a slider down packjob and static line. There is no way in hell I'd jump out of a plane at 120 ft with a slider up, reserve packjob. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
