  1. I guess I'm getting blind or some shit but there is no punching on that video. The article says: As one of the women, from the radical feminist group Femen, grabbed Miss Saker's arm and tried to lift her skirt, the model lashed out, striking her squarely on the nose. Despite being badly shaken by the unwanted hiccup, Miss Saker continued her run as if nothing had happened. there is definitely no punching on the video. I can see the arm grab but she must be some ninja with badass moves if there is a punch in there. The only possibility is that she does some weird thing with her elbow when her arm is lifted. 3. In the comments section the jumper says: No, i could see that it was the cameralady. But i was determinert to do my thing and get the level cleared, so i had to do the rutine in front of the camera! My instructor watched the video and passed me with flying colours!!! Are AFF students supposed to pull immediately if they're alone in freefall without their instructors? So by the book shouldn't it be automatic fail since he didn't? 5. Its pretty standard fare in my country that when some muslim goes on a raping spree and the cops go looking for him, all the newspapers exclude the part about 'muslim immigrant' and print something really vague. Their official excuse for it is that in their minds printing facts would get all the racists worked out over nothing, since being gang raped by muslims is just cultural enlightenment that the stupid whitey can't appreciate. 6. I wonder how much money the DZ gets for being involved with the show or is it just the free advertising they get from it. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  7. Seriously WTF? I haven't been there since 2010 but holy shit that is expensive. Isn't the place owned by a saudi oil billionaire anyway? do you think he got to be and stay a billionare by squandering his assets? Yes, when you got money flowing out of the ground at 23k $ per minute, a million is just words on paper. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  8. Yes, He did. The problem now is, the animal rights folks don't want you fishing or hunting. If you go dumpster diving, you get accused of digging into peoples 'privacy'. About the only other choice is road-kill. Chuck In many places, harvesting after a road-kill is illegal. In MD, it's considered poaching unless you obtain a Road Kill Tag for it. One would have to get a 'Road Kill Tag' first? Isn't that like 'self incrimination' and showing intent you intend to hunt with your vehicle? Chuck I though that it worked like so that if a deer gets hit by a car then the cops have a list to of people, the people with the tags, to call to come and pick up the carcass. 11. I was under the impression that its actually a reality tv show and those ads are just a gimmick to get attention/to differentiate from the gazillion do-you-wanna-be-the-next-most-awesome-singer tv shows. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  12. Some small suit you're familiar with, from a 'forgiving' cliff would be my recommendation, but I only had 130 ws skydives on my P2 before I took it off a cliff and have never flown any other wingsuit. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

  14. Most food products have too strict use by dates and the products can easily be used after the date. There used to be a trend around here among certain kind of people (students/hippies) to go trash hunting for free food from dumpster where shops were throwing away the 'bad' food that could no longer be sold. After the shops realized this the employees were told to 'destroy' the food, puncture any sealed container and damage the products, so that these people couldn't use the food. Also they added locks to the dumpsters. However after some negative publicity some shops started giving that food to non-profits that then distribute the food to some poor folks. 17. Drive your car into a river. Buy a bicycle, drive it around in a town for a month. Then imagine if there weren't any cars around. Then you'll understand. Your rights end where my feelings begin.

  20. I was wondering that too. If you're coming from the north anywhere that field does look like the best out. Could be an inexperienced jumper, a bad spot, a bad spot on a track jump or a combination of the three. Could be a somewhat more experienced skydiver tracking at a new DZ. It's pretty easy to end up in some unusual places if you don't really know the lay of the land yet. I'd plan to do a few belly jumps at any new DZ, but I could totally see getting sucked into a tracking dive 5 minutes after arriving too... The camera on his hat doesn't look like something an inexperienced skydiver would be wearing, but it's not like the helmet camera police are ever out ticketing inexperienced skydivers. *edit* I wonder what his canopy risk assessment score is. He DID get a yellow flag though, so it's not like his actions weren't unpunished (I assume the yellow flag was for him and suitably punished him for landing there.) Well, according to the news article hes got 1300 jumps and according to the british forum its a tandem factory, so my money is still on 'dickhead attention whore who just wanted to be seen'. 22. I don't know if I have newer or older version, probably the older, but I never had fogging issues. What happened was that I'd keep the helmet on my head, and some moist warm air would fill the helmet. Then after exiting the moisture would freeze on the visor providing zero visiblity. It however always cleared, either when I got low enough in freefall that it wasn't freezing anymore, or during winter after I was under canopy. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  23. All he wanted was a quick clip for retirement party, say something before jumping and after landing. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  24. It should be doable if she wears a tight suit and you wear a baggy suit. I'm 6'1" and about 200 lbs and I just last weekend jumped with a student who is about ~ 120 lbs. I didn't even really have to struggle to remain on level with her and she was doing her own thing so she wasn't even trying to be fast to help me out. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
  25. I dunno, seems weird that he decided that the best options was to land on the field during the game when it would appear that there were *a lot* of alternative outs to land to. Hell I'd even go so far to call him a selfish prick to interfere with the game with that landing. Your rights end where my feelings begin.
