  1. Hey Jo, You might not think of yourself as a dog person, since the dog came with the husband. But obviously you are now, by hook or by crook. It might feel like no new dog can replace your old dog. That will always be true. If you get a rescue, though, the new dog needs you as much as you need him, and you'll get some of the same good feeling. An older dog would probably be better for you too, quieter, more settled. And those are harder for the rescue groups to place. There are 10 year old shelties in rescue in Florida. Search for sheltie rescue. Be good for both of you!
  2. The 305 Dan Cooper ticket the FBI shows, I guess I never really thought about how it changed hands, or if it did? Did they give out boarding passes back then? What I'm wondering about: was this ticket handed to Cooper (solely, or was a receipt copy also handed to him?, as Jo would imply) and then Cooper travelled to the gate and handed the ticket to a stewardess while boarding...or did he also get a boarding pass with seat assignment, that he handed to the stewardess? Or, is the ticket a copy of the ticket, that the ticket counter guy kept? Or is it a ticket Cooper handed in at the gate? I guess I don't really understand how cooper went from buying the ticket to getting on the plane, and how many pieces of paper were involved and what he touched. Almost ran out of beer tonite. Whew, that would be a drinking problem.
  3. Hi, my name is Duane I live on the second floor, I jumped out of a plane with $200k I kept $17k, the ticket, the parking stub, the money bag, and maybe a piece of the rig. It made sense to me, so it would make sense to no one. Ain't I smart? Except I forgot where the $173k was, but remembered where the $6k or so was. (after 8 years even, and dragging a new wife bag along!) Ain't I stupid? Not sure why the weird split made sense: $6k,$17k,$173k but who cares! I am Mr. Random! Jo: Sheltie (Shetland Sheepdog). Did you get the dog before or after Duane died? (edit) Hey: if there was a parking stub, that must mean Jo should be able to manufacture some testimony from the "parking lot clerk". Parking Lot Clerk: Arise!
  4. I read two bogus myths based on no evidence 1) that cooper had stained fingers from heavy smoking 2) that the stains were really face makeup stains. be interesting if any of georger's "illegal in 14 states" fingerprint magic could prove/disprove stuff like that. At the very least, I always wondered about the possibility that the smoking was a false clue..i.e. cooper faked smoking. I was always interested if the amount of nicotine/tar residue in the filters was consistent with a smoker who inhaled.
  5. Got a flat tire today. Lining up hookers, blow, tequila slammers, lawyers, guns and money to get another NW flight timetable. Hopefully goes down okay. I've stopped looking backwards at Jo's history of posts because it doesn't matter. But since I've got some beers in me, I have a question: I seem to remember Jo making a big deal of Duane's income in 1971..him buying stuff. yet at the same time, there's a claim that all the money was lost: $173,000 in a bucket that can't be found, plus the bundles that were dug up by packs of wild dogs and young children raised by wolves. Why is there a "where did the money come from" story for Duane, if all the money was "lost".. now where's the bottle opener... And why the heck can't we talk about the Symba Bill. Who's running that conspiracy? I'll stay in charge of controlling the public, but we need some damn accountability in the rest of the cabal!
  6. thanks georger. I'll stop the drubbing. It only started again, cause SafecrackingPLF showed up and said something about us facing the obvious facts, and I was gobsmacked when I realized he was implying Duane, and then he talked about the night clerk. I agree, nothing more to be gained by replowing this ground, although I did realize some things I hadn't before. I'm not sure all the detail was called out precisely here at DZ.com before, but we can let it lie. There'll be the obligatory conspiracy/galen cook/cryptic messages to follow but I'll try to be good. It absolutely blows me away that the FBI had to spend any time on Jo. Either it means they investigated anyone with a remote chance, or their ability to ascertain credibility quickly is pretty poor. (i.e. not much better than the news reporters, who just like a story)
  7. Orange1 said: The amazing thing, Orange1 (as you've pointed out before), is that we're supposed to ignore the places where the memories are wrong, but pay attention where they happen to be right.. i.e. the ones that are "right" are more truthful, somehow. And when Jo is "right" she's smart and has massive memory banks. When she's wrong, she's just a dumb blonde being attacked. And we're not supposed to be exposed to all of Duane's life and personality, just the cherry picked factoids Jo has assembled in the 12 foot wall. The sad thing: Eventually that 12 foot wall that took 12 years to assemble, will just be thrown in the trash heap. Cause it has zero value. (edit) the previous cooper ticket photo from the fbi doesn't have any date detail I can see. I attached a snap from a Carr video, but it's too fuzzy. I can't tell where a date would be on that ticket. Does anyone know? The full ticket is visible but fuzzy in the attached. (edit) 2nd shot from fbi shows date field. (edit) attached the fbi shot again. The date field seems empty? people agree? (there's a field labelled date but empty)
  8. Funny: Jo you kinda also failed the test here like you did for the Norjack publication year. It should be obvious what's wrong with what you said above, and the claim that it's a 1971 ticket. Research, research, research. Then commence the fraud! Look back at the Cooper ticket, which we know is from 1971. It's not a Northwest Airline ticket. Let you slide on that one. How about the other questions I asked?
  9. Cassius: On this day we reach back to hallowed antiquity to bring you a recreation of Second Fall of Mighty Carthage. On the barren straits of Zama, there stood the invincible armies of the Barbarian Hannibal. Ferocious mercenaries and warriors from all brute nations bent on merciless destruction conquest. Your Emperor is pleased to give you THE BARBARIAN HORDE! ... Maximus: Whatever comes out of these gates, we've got a better chance of survival if we work together. Do you understand? We stay together, we survive. ... Commodus: My history's a little hazy, Cassius, but shouldn't the Barbarians lose the battle of Carthage? Cassius: Yes, Sire. Forgive me, Sire. .... Commodus: Why doesn't the hero reveal himself and tell us all your real name. You do have a name...? Maximus: My name is gladiator. Commodus: How dare you show your back to me. Slave! You will remove your helmet and tell me your name... ... Juba: What do you say to them? Maximus: To my boy, I tell him I will see him again soon, and to keep his heels down when he's riding his horse. To my wife...that is not your business.
  10. On Aug 15, 2007, 12:10 AM Jo mentioned a $20 bill in a bank called "Symba" Jo, can you give us more detail on this Symba bill. What did the $20 look like? Was it decomposed? If so, how?
  11. I know Jo said she saw the ticket multiple times as it made it way between drawers and garbage etc before it disappeared. I'm interested in what was read on the ticket each time it was viewed. On Aug 16, 2007 3:36 AM, Jo said there was no passenger name on the ticket because they didn't have passenger names on tickets in 1971. But the ticket we see from the FBI, clearly says "Dan Cooper". Jo: how do you resolve this? Also, where did you get the info about passenger names on tickets from 1971? Jo said:
  12. My confusion is only in understanding the details of your story. Sorry about that. It's interesting to me that you saw the year on the ticket. You say 1971. How big was the font for the year, compared to the font for the Northwest xxx line? Where on the ticket was the year 1971 printed? (top, bottom, right, left, middle?) Do you remember if it said Northwest Airlines or Northwest Orient? If you saw the 1971, did you see the exact month and day? if not, why not? This is the first time I've seen you claim it was a 1971 ticket, so I'm interested in the details. Did you see the ticket price, for instance, or the passenger name on the ticket? I would think if you read "1971" you must have noticed the name. If it wasn't "Duane Weber" wouldn't you have remembered that, like you remembered "Sea-Tac" on the parking stub? It's also interesting that the parking stub has no connection to the ticket. You found them in different places at different times, so could be unrelated. Was there any date info on the parking stub? You didn't mention the departure/destination on the airline ticket you found. You just mentioned the year on it. Can you say what departure/destination it had? (edit) If you've described all this before, you can just point me to it, if you prefer. I've not found any of this detail anywhere. (edit) I ask the detailed questions because I know your memory is good. The answers can only help. (edit) Just found some more details on the parking stub. This makes me think Jo has good detailed memory on the passenger ticket also. Jo said, on Nov 28, 2007, 9:21 PM "There was a Sea-Tac stub (like a movie stub) it was a blue/grey color. I have thought that might have been a parking sub. Cannot remember the color of the print on it - seems like the numbers were red"
  13. Jo, I've attached the description you gave of the stub and ticket that you seem to think is important. It was odd (or not?) it was in income tax files. You travelled to WA in 1979 for business with Duane. You married Duane in 1977. When you say "old income tax files" do you know what year? Pre-1979? A bigger question: I've also attached a picture of the Cooper ticket. The 1971 Cooper ticket seems to say "Seattle" for the destination. You said the ticket (edit) stub (parking?) you saw had "Sea-Tac". You apparently don't have any idea what year the ticket was from? If in 1971 they were printing "Seattle" for Northwest Orient tickets, it sounds like the "Sea-Tac" ticket you supposedly saw, wasn't from 1971? or at the least not from the Portland ticket agent Cooper used. (They were likely consistent usage elsewhere, but unclear) (edit) I just see now you were talking about some other stub with the Sea-Tac thing...Do you have no idea what the ticket origin/dest was? (edit) Note I'm all confused about the ticket and ticket "stub" connection. (You can only see the "LE" in the attached photo) Another question: You mentioned all the harassment you get. The press articles about you have been remarkably supportive. Is all the harassment from internet forums you post to, or does it arrive thru other means? Just asking, because I realized I don't know. Do people call you up, write letters or ?? I'm assuming you're just talking about suite101, sitcomsonline.com, dz.com forums? Is there anyone besides you that says Galen Cook is slime? I realized also, I accepted your viewpoint with no other info. On Sept 15, 2007 9:08 PM, JO said. "The ticket stub was a ticket (like a parking ticket) that said SEA-TAC on it. I asked what Sea-Tac was He said it was trash to throw it in the basket. Later, curiosity got to me and I went back to look for it and it was GONE. Still I did not give it anymore thought. Remember that I didn't know what SEA-TAC meant.. For some reason I was curious, but don't remember why. The airline ticket - that was in 1994 the yr before he died in some old income tax files I had to clean out. He said it was just an old ticket and used to mean something, but didn't anymore. I had a throw away pile and a keep pile. He would later ask me what I did with that old ticket and I went through the throw away pile. I then told him it must be in the file box in his closet. This same ticket would show up again in his sock drawer and I mentioned it and then it disappeared. He had fractured his leg and was incapcitated - but he managed to hide it one more time while I was at work. He had been acting real strange not wanting me to put his clothes away or clean his room during that time.
  14. 1) I'm bummed I wasn't accused of being part of the conspiracy. What's georger got that I don't got? 2) 'decision' implies there are options. I can't imagine what the options are. Go to the press? That would be really cool. I'm really curious how the press would react to you now. Sue? Sue who? Write your congressman? Build a website and flame off against the world? There are 100s out there already, with all sorts of conspiracy theories. You're just in the noise. If you're going to play poker, you always have to be prepared for someone to call your bluff. I'm prepared for you to call my bluff...i.e. there might actually be a witness. But then I'm simply right about the past not having any credible evidence, and the future: possibly. I'm not sure what happens with your bluff? The Dow drops 800 pts? Someone Jo, you either don't understand the benefit of cooperation, or you've somehow gotten your way with bluster in the past a lot, or you really don't have anything, and the whole thing is just about blustering around etc, trying to get people to chat about this thing. 3) Hey: did no one check the Wikipedia history? It's the only wikipedia entry I've ever created. Only one person can be first. And that one's mine. 4) Queen to queens level 3? trying hard to get in the conspiracy
  15. Yip! DICK, true enough - no links to wikipedia required for confirmation. Hm. Is this a claim to half a brain? evidence?
  16. Okay, I'll give up anonynomity and give a clue that anyone with half a brain could use to find me. - I created the initial entry for "dick joke" on Wikipedia. I've got that going for me, too. (want to call bullshit on that? go check the history for it in wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Dick_joke&dir=prev&action=history
  17. she's at 888 already. No worries... ok, now it's all coming back to me.. The winter the money was found...1980. Where was I? In mexico with 3 other guys. Two were brothers from Oregon. Their father was a dentist. We rode a train back home to the US. Cheap. First Class. We had a sleeper room to ourselves. Forget how long: 40 hrs or so? Stopped at every little small town to load people with chickens etc. When we got close to the US border, the Mexican authorities tried to shake down one of the brothers because his papers weren't in order. We decided not to pay and jumped off the train and ran for the border. We made it. When I review everything about that sentimental journey, I can only come to one conclusion. The two brothers had been told by Cooper where the money was hidden in Mexico. We must have taken the train to avoid detection at the airport. When we got to the border, it wasn't that his papers weren't in order, he wanted no record of his passage. I believe the two brothers had Cooper's Money and threw some of it in the Columbia when they returned to Oregon. It's the only thing that makes sense.
  18. one of the problems with a large centralized law enforcement agency, in a big country, is that they are constrained with how they react to "kooks"..i.e. kooks take bandwidth out of the system, much like Joe McCain's 911 call. And bandwidth is fixed, cause us taxpayers only want to pony up so much for certain things. People get adamant the "system" is supposed to react to them in a certain way, and then the thing shifts to how the "system" interacts with people, as opposed to solving the initial problem. Look at poor Larry having to deal with Jo. And all the poor agents before him with the same problem. The one nice thing about an anonymous open forum, is that while we have fewer investigative powers, we can tell each other to f* off, with no repercussions. Here, we can encourage kooks of all ages and sizes, and vet them fairly rapidly...it would be worth a bunch of false positives, to get just one clue. On anything hard, it's all about building a process that can tolerate a bunch of false positives and false negatives, and yet still get the right answer. An instance of scaling up a process: The technology is easily available, database wise, to file and cross reference 100,000 tips, and maybe 100,000 suspects, with maybe just 1-3 humans supporting. It doesn't sound like Seattle FBI does this, since 1000 suspects is really nothing to brag about. In fact by admitting just to investigating 1000, you can see why Cooper wasn't found. I was doing rough estimates based on the population of Or and Wa back then, and I figured there needed to be at least an order of magnitude more suspects in the net, to be reasonably certain of finding Cooper, if he was in OR and WA...i.e. 10,000 suspects. So, in short, I don't think kooks are the problem. I think people use that as an excuse for poor process management.
  19. I scanned Jo's posts, but there was no new evidence in them, right? I may be wrong, but there was no point-by-point denial of what I said about the history of posting to sitcomsonline either. (I mean I provided the urls, so its hard to deny) There was a comment that the posts are just memory based, and maybe shouldn't be accorded a disciplined review. I think that translates to "Ignore me!". Ok. (edit) Safe: I'm still wondering why you believe the night clerk story. There may be a future story, but you seem to believe a story based on past info of dubious origin. I'm still wondering where you got the "late wake up call" piece of info. Was that from Jo? I can't find it anywhere. I hate missing part of a story. (edit) Jo: If alleged China-boy was named Chuck when he called you, then he changed his phone number and you lost track of him, how did you find him in China? Is China-boy the same guy (thru email) that posted as "niteclerk" and then exchanged email with you? I know this is a fact question, and may be difficult to answer in a post. (edit) My best guess for Cook's AK address is in Fairbanks. Is that right? Apparently I've got billable hours! yahoo! (edit) Avatars: I really want to be "Master Splynter" now, but I guess it's too late. (edit) I have more posts than skyjack71 now. So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.
  20. Funny phone story georger! John Allen Paulos. I've seen his articles at www.marketwatch.com good stuff. http://www.math.temple.edu/~paulos/
  21. Jo throws out little things not worth investigating, but then the problem is it creates this "aura" that there's enough shit that surely something sticks, and it must be a story, since surely no one could be that insane and use a computer. Like she goes on about when Duane grew facial hair, supposedly to elude detection when Norjak was published. Her problem is that she didn't check the publish date (1986). I called her on this before, but here's a post she made at sitcomsonline (she first started espousing all her conspiracy theories there too) saying facial hair started in 84-85..so she modified the story later to say Duane "knew" the stories were going to come out "soon" http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?p=3222905&highlight=norjax#post3222905 MsCooper wrote on Jun 14, 2006: "The picture with the mustach and white hair was taken in Virginia Beach around 1987 -- this was how he appeared after NORJAX was put on the racks in 1984 --- Why did he suddenly grow facial hair in 1984 or 85."
  22. I guess what I'm missing, is that maybe all of us need to have our chain yanked at some point. So the Snowmman who wants to be like 377, will try to oblige. On the same day I'm posting about the night clerk, who we are told is currently in China, I went to my mailbox, and behold, a package from China. I scanned it, front and back. Attached (redacted red) You can look at the postmark to see the date, which is near enough to today that it's unlikely I somehow "found" this image on the net. I really did receive this package today. Hey Jo, it's obvious what's in the package, right? The only problem with this yank, is that it doesn't mean anything when people want the yank.
  23. But georger, you agree it's b.s. right? (edit: I didn't make up the posts. The urls are there so you can source check for accuracy) Note how it doesn't align with the story told by the guy that phoned Jo. And what are the odds that this night clerk magically appears to a sitcomsonline forum after Jo beseeches? Also: it was a single sole post. No more after that. (I believe he emailed Jo with that email she posted here, which smelled bogus too) Even Jo in that forum raised questions about "niteclerk"'s post, saying that mugshots and stuff wouldn't have been available that quickly. I should post the crap that "caretaker Al" posted, to show another guy that was yanking Jo. Yes it's specific, and somehow Jo merged it into the info she had before. The phoned information didn't say anything about John Collins. The post did. But the post is b.s. Even Jo questioned it at the time. The original phoned-in info was much more vague...and unclear about dates. Evidently the guy reacted to seeing the Duane story. It's unclear when he's talking about the FBI grabbing a registration card with plastic. It's all bogus. Jo won't straighten it out because she knows it's all bogus. I can't believe guys like Safe get sucked into believing facts exist when they don't. It's like that myth about the meeting between Scott and Himmelsbach, saying they actually flew west of I-5. It's absolute B.S. It was attributed to the Norjak book, but I can't find it in the Norjak book. There's the Bohan meeting, which I believe got myth-morphed into a Scott meeting. The problem is: Jo lets all this confusion reign and no one wants to bother to check it out. I checked it out and it's total B.S.
  24. On 7-16-2006 10:31 PM at the sitcomsonline thread, MsCooper beseeched night clerk to arrive and post. (see bottom) Note first time poster niteclerk magically appeared after this. (about a month later). There was some legpulling (fake claims) by some others on that thread. So there was precedent for yanking Jo's chain? (e.g. "caretaker Al" I believe?) If you read my 3 posts on this matter, you'll see why I concluded that the "niteclerk" posting was bogus. Jo's first post on a "night clerk" phoning in information about stuff that happened, is debatable, though. (edit) FUNNY: I just reread Jo's post about the phoned-in info. she said: "He didn't know what name was the one that was used."...i.e. the bullshit about John Collins didn't come from him? it came from the fake poster niteclerk????? Jo straighten all this out for me..it's too funny what you're calling "evidence" (actually you never really describe your evidence..amazing that Safe believed it?) MsCooper said: "When I am speaking of this crime - I always think Seattle so I apologize for any confusion. The night clerk worked at the Rodeway or Airway just outside of the Portland Airport gates. I have been trying to reach him but his number has changed and he has moved. I do have a contact I hope will reach him . It has been sometime since I spoke to him but I am hoping she will know how to reach him and let him know about this site and that I would like to talk to him again.... P.S. Chuck - I still have the same telephone number. If you post here give me a clue so I will know it is you."
  25. Below is an exact cut and paste of "First Time Poster" niteclerk, as part of the "D B Cooper /Duayne Weber/john collins" thread. (edit) Note the bullshit about looking at the composite the next night (Thanksgiving) like I said. (edit) Note this bullshit showed up chronologically after the post Jo made above about a "night clerk" (7/16..this was 8/23) this link should find it for you http://www.sitcomsonline.com/boards/showthread.php?p=3300192&highlight=%22night+clerk%22#post3300192 It was merged in by the Moderator "crystaldawn" she said: "Just for the record I merged nite clerk's thread in here because we don't need two current threads going about the exact same topic." 08-23-2006, 04:44 PM author: niteclerk topic: D B Cooper /Duayne Weber/john collins "I can verify that Mr. Weber/aka dbcooper was at the Rodeway Inn on the evening of Nov 24th 1971 and registered under the name of john collins. I identified him to the FBI on the following day after he had hijacked the aircraft and jumped into history. I was the front desk clerk on duty that thanksgiving evening. My recollection of that particular individual was enhanced greatly while being questioned by the FBI and other law enforcement officials. I was shown photos of many individuals and asked to pick out the one who I believed to be the one who I checked in the prior evening. I was then shown several composites with and without disquise or dark glasses. I had no problem matching the correct person to the right photo. The investigating officer asked for the registration card for the evening of the 24th and took the card with him. I only heard from them once more a few days later to verify what I had stated, never to hear from them again. I have been in touch with Jo Weber since 1997 to this day and I am still 100% convinced that Duayne Weber and DBCOOPER are one and the same."
