Robi made Jari an S-3 with back vents that had airlocks on them years ago. It was a lot of construction complexity without "great" backflying capability. And with added losses in the belly flight mode. Since the S1 doesn't have any extra glide to spare I would get a newer platform with more wing area to experiment with. Just an Idea but if you are hell bent on tinkering stick another leg wing cell in that puppy first. Then try a PF style tetering upper vent that could be "sewn on top" of the shoulder instead of inside the suit requiring an airlock. Its my personal belief that the rear vent sewn across the mean chord amplifies the early separation of airflow which makes this type of suit not perform as well when right side up as suits that have clean wings. BTW some suits fly great backside without the vents. The S3s and S6 easily inflates due to those full profile mylar ribs that so annoying most of the time supporting the material.

I could but I bet chuck would put me in a ranger death choke grip until a convulsive stream of urine ran down my leg. Nobody would know because of the sweat from the humidity just me and chuck.

Check the thread a couple of pages back titled "PF ghost" also previeously discussed as the "flocking suit". Handfull of orders have been submitted first production suits should be hitting the skys very soon.

I was in AZ for a week after the event. I'll send you my footage and some others when I round it up, soon. Be safe Ed No rush, my only self imposed deadline is having it done to get everybody pumped up to attend the fall event.

Actually I won't be able to even begin the work on it for at least a month due to work demands. But that gives everybody a chance to get their clips to me if they want it included, raw dv tape preferred. Because this years tight formation oriented flying there is less usable video available compared to last years so the more to work with the better it will be. Avery ,Ira,Charlie and Scott have sent me their stuff. Still waiting for anything from Ed, Dingo, Damien and anyone else who may have some shots for us.

At 200 jumps, he'll be already a solid WS flyer. If he is that WS centric I'll take him out with a little over a hundred jumps of this nature, shit I used to be a WS instructor before I discovered Christ, holmes.

Scott Ira jumps his infinity with his wingsuits the only skydive suits he owns, the only jumps he does. And Ira, his infinity and all his wingsuits are real old, well except for his Vampire/ acro suits. And they all play nice together.

H2 is a bit inflammable. AFAIK all H2 blimps burned or exploded. Its perfectly safe and stable above 90% purity. Keeping your anylizer calibrated would be as important as cocking your pilot chute.

The tracking contest really put me in my place though... i thought i was doing well until i opened and didn't see any canopies. Then like a minute later they all started popping on the horizon in front of me :) Don't worry about it you and phantom were the only non V-2s in the bunch and many of those fellows were tall pilots. You did very well.
