I'm talking about turning during the flare on landing and being able to change your heading as much as 30 degrees and still having enough energy left over to finish the flare and land softly without wiping out horizontally. A shallower less extreme version of pro swoopers 90 degree 50 mph extreme bank angle manuever. Glen.

What is the proper way to do shallow turns while skiming along in ground effect slowly not at the extreme speeds and bank angles of the pro comp swoopers in the accuracy event? Shallow bank, moderate speed and working up to a heading change slowly of more than just a few degrees. lets say 30 degrees. And then getting back under your canopy for a nice soft landing without running out of lift. Glen

Years ago in Vegas We had a fourway going on in our room, all of us drunk and I'm sure loud. When things settled down we all tried to sleep. But we had awakened the couple in the next room. We waited patiently and when they finished we cheered them on! It was the least we could do. Glen.

I had around 90 jumps when I borrowed a dudes cobalt 150 loaded at 1.25. Before I did this I got a ton of advice from jumpers with 8,000 + jumps experience and the DZs S&TA all of whom had watch me fly and land. It was after all a fully elliptical right. The guy was going to trade for my spectre. I loved the cobalt but he didn't want to trade. I said don't worry cuz I was going to buy one anyway. After I got to about 130 jumps I couldn't take it anymore and demo'ed and bought a 135. While waiting for it to arrive from the factory I demo'ed everything I could get my hands on Diablos, sabre 2 of all sizes and smaller cobalts. In the end I am very happy with my decision. In the rare event of line twists ( due to bad body position )my cobalts just fly out of them. I have two cobalts loaded @1.4 and 1.6 and I love them. I take alot of flak for useing them for wing suit jumps because of my relative little jump experience, but I get the best deployments from them, as good as my spectre did. The cobalt is not a death trap unless you don't respect it like it sounds what your friend did. I will warn you though don't try one unless you are gunna buy one.This is not just my sentiment but that of many people I talked to during my advice gathering from experienced jumpers. Freefly! got back into the sport cuz I saw some bad-ass stuff about freeflying on tv. I'm eating this stuff up. Bird suit flight, I can't believe the stuff we are doing with the wing suits. Here at Perris lately its very easy to find someone else to wing suit with on any givin day. Someguys have more wing suit jumps than I have total in the span of a few months. Glen

Yup to all this above but the tropical lei is a money maker, but the girls have to go a little farther down the nasty scale. Same for Deja vue Ontario. The spearment rhinos tend to be purty good, the closer to LA the better. Angels is lame so is club 215. Orange county has better clubs that are tamer and has a clientele with more money to spend. Steve only knows about this stuff cuz he has exotic dance club DJ envey. I know this stuff cuz I'm a very bad bad boy, But I'm getting better. Glen.
