Cool dream, PT...Blaine and Wes...those are horrible! Blaine's was the worst, I must say. I have bounced in a dream but I haven't ever dreamed of seeing someone else do it. yikes! My latest weird skydiving dream was a few days ago...I dreamed that I was at this huge DZ with a swimming pool that must have been the size of TWO olympic size pools. Everyone was swooping the pool and landing in it, and there were like five cutaways, one was at like 50 feet - who didn't pull the reserve but just landed in the water! (of course they were fine) Maybe I should send that to Guy Manos as an idea for a future skydiving flick! LOL) Anyway, after that like all these people were coming up to me wanting to order hemp closing pin necklaces...a good friend of mine was running around with NOTHING on except a towel, trying to hit on a female skydiver who didn't want him. I woke up then. Too damn strange. Sis It isn't brave if you aren't scared...

Mouth, I am not sure what day I might make it out to Thomaston seeing as how I am visiting a friend in Athens, and leaving town on Friday, and haven't even left Texas yet! (bummer) I plan to drive it all in one go if possible, I caught up on my sleep last night after I got home from the DZ (2 AM) so we'll see! I would say Thursday sounds good...I would like to jump at Thomaston at least while I am there, since I have jumped at ASC and at Monroe already. Sis It isn't brave if you aren't scared...

Oh, I have heard of this! I was at a DZ in Colorado (Front Range Skydivers) and they were debating about whether to do one that night. We had like five bottles of Pucker and 2 fifths of Jack, plus beer and herb, and the rigger thought everyone would get fucked up enough to do it. Apparently, they do it at the DZ several times a year...they even have it on video! I don't remember them calling it an "Electric 8-way" though. Probably goes by diff. names across the country. Well sure enough, I said that and then had some firsts today (all on one jump) my score was 0:2:1...my mouth gets me into trouble doesn't it? Beer-buying trouble that is! My firsts weren't as exciting as a cutaway...just mild stuff like first jump at SDH (Hinton), first jump from a T210, etc. Weird exits from that 210...there is no step because it has retractable landing gear so you have to sit in the door with your legs dangling out and the person behind you pushes you out. Kingie, you're so sweet!! hehe I had my absolute BEST landing EVER today, so don't give up! I was getting so afraid of my landings that I was scared to jump! But this really awesome jumpmaster and a friend of mine were so supportive and talked me into manifesting. I had so much fun I couldn't believe it! I had a super tippy-toe landing on my 50th jump! YAY! My first jump was a stand-up landing too but I had to run it out a little bit and *almost* fell over! Dave...well, I funneled two formations today so does that count? Well, I have been harassed by highway patrolmen for more bizarre things than missing mirros, so I am not taking any chances. NO comment about my sex life, in Atlanta or anywhere else. I get the mirror fixed tomorrow anyway, so I won't have to worry about it. I was mainly just pissed at the dealership for not telling me it was in. BTW, my count for this weekend was 0:2:1...but I somehow managed to get out of there without buying the beer. I hate my car dealership! I am waiting on a measly little part for my car, and those bastard motherf**ckers have had it in for a week, but didn't bother to call me or drop a postcard in the mail! I called yesterday morning, and it only takes like 20 minutes to install the worthless piece of shit but they didn't have any openings until Monday morning! My point is: I could already be in Georgia right now, sweating off an extra ten pounds each time I pack my rig (good for the figure!) and jumping with Mouth! Then I could hop in my CAR (fucking piece of crap) and zip into Atlanta and get some sex! Woohoo! That would make my weekend count like 3:5:1 or something, I can only imagine! Maybe 10:6:2...Now I have to go mid-week and hope some people are jumping. BTW, I forgot to email Rome to see if they still have that intentional cutaway rig, Dutch. I'll let ya know! The 9th through the 12th would be perfect! I really want to jump the bi-plane...and we know I like to party! That is my favorite part of skydiving...the beer! I haven't owed beer in ages. I am amazed by all these "firsts" you people seem to have. Of course, I don't jump much these days so maybe that is part of the reason. I also keep my mouth shut about certain firsts so I don't have to owe beer! Like, why bother telling people "that was my first five way!" etc. hehe

On several of the newer dz.com members, I have noticed this under their name: () instead of newbie or enthusiast or whatever. Is this some new option? I had door anxiety on my first tandem but that was it. What scares me now is landing. One jump away from 50 and I am as nervous as ever, and all because of landings! They are getting worse and now I have some sort of mental block because of them or something... Sis It isn't brave if you aren't scared...

I broke my tailbone as a student, just like the other person...I sat down on landing, except I did flare! Sigh...anyway, I went to the doctor but I DID NOT get percocets! You SUCK! I had to just grin and bear it, bear the weight on my ass that is! I also tried one of those rubber donut things and it hurt worse that way! A pillow helped some... Goodluck and get well soon! It depends on how quickly we get in from Georgia, but maybe we'll be able to jump on Saturday afternoon, or Sunday morning...you and JT will both be occupied on Monday, but we'll be there then too. Anywhoooooo, Jess, I tried to get Bryce to come out, but he thinks he is going to be going scuba diving with his "girlfriend." One of them, anyway! LOL I told him, "Bro, you have a weirder sex/love life than anyone I know, including me!" Hell, I don't have a love life, just a sex life! Which is OK, it is easier that way! (this is what you tell yourself to get by) Right then, so I'll hopefully be seeing you two in ten days or so! ?
