  1. ROFLMAO!!!!!!!!! Oh God, I remember once when I posted a nonsense thread, but this is just too much! Are these people safe to skydive? I mean, SMOKE JUMPERS RULE, and Hannibal is a good but freaky ass book (haven't seen the movie yet), but how did Pammi get involved? I am going to start calling her Hasselhoff!! SHe is so studly in a Speedo! I guess if she was being Hasselhoff, she would wear a bottom and no top? Going bare chested? She doesn't have a hairy chest though, so I don't get it! Her car isn't anything like KIT either, sorry to say! LOL You people fucking crack my shit UP!! I gotta go to the bank! Laughing all the way, even though I have no money! 2. ROFL!!!!!! You freakin' people SLAY me!! Dude, Subtle, Pammi rocks, I know, but what's up? LOL Merrick, you are a riot!! Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  3. Ahh yes, GeekStreak, it is an all-you-eat buffet!!! OH YEAAH BAABY!!!!! I can hear me telling my partner (if I had one, LOL) "Forget Las Vegas, baby, let's just stay home!" Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  4. Oh yeah, and Pammi, it's NOT an issue for you!! You have a nice ass!! Oops, Hi Merrick!! Hey, I enjoyed dancing with you two at the ID!! That was good exercise too, we should go do that more often!
  5. Damn! LOL - I was expecting a pic of something else!! That is a thought though, especially if you're pulling a cart??!?! Thank God we have cars in America...not that I am worried, but I have seen some asses at Wal-Mart in Oklahoma that scared me shitless!! (i.e., DAMN LADY! Put the Twinkies back on the shelf!!) Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  6. Ahh, Spectre, I like your way of thinking!! Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  7. Hi Subtle6...nice to have you here on the forums! Anyone who jumps is a member of a big family!! Welcome! Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  8. Hey, that's cool! I always thought those Hubble photos were so incredible! I bought a screen saver program of the images a couple of years ago...It is marvelous that someone is helping the blind to "see" them. Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  9. WOOHOO!! Thanks, Sangiro!! I just read that entire thread for the first time in months, and it was worth it! hehe... I agree with JT that we are somewhat more tame on the new site...but I'll tell ya, the Happy Hour gets pretty crazy - so that makes up for it. Last week, the topic of discussion was the "smell of sex." Skyhawk, you're still crazy! But is your hair still bleached blonde? I *know* that wasn't a natural color! Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  10. Allright, I don't get it!! Sorry, ya'll...but what the hell is going on with FFF's fantasy? (over in the Pub) That was the *ABSOLUTE COOLEST THREAD EVER* ON DZ.COM!!!!!! Of course, that is only my opinion, but I have missed that thread...it was the OLD dz.com for you newbies!!
  11. D, I don't claim to know who started the pie tradition, but my thought is that it originated because of university hazing traditions! I mean, pieing has long been a hazing tactic and if those people got into skydiving, well, obviously they would think how perfect it would be to haze other jumpers for something significant... Any other ideas? sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  12. Hey there sweet, YOU DID GREAT! I have been told many times that it is better to land downwind and PLF than try to TURN back in to the wind and kill yourself or break lots of shit!! I feel like Pammi, I do shit like that on upwind landings! Actually, I have only very recently started having bad landings, which is probably Karma from a thread a long time ago about women and landings/depth perception... I suppose if I did a normal "freaksis" landing downwind I might just die or be hurt a lot. I have regular crosswind landings and thank God I finally learned to PLF!! Anyway, no matter what has ever happened to the rest of us, GOOD JOB MONK!! Been missing you on the forums, glad you are back!! Blue Ones, Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  13. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!! LOL Way to go, Pam!! You guys have been *kicking ass* lately!! hehe! Merrick doesn't need to get too confident though, that can hurt ya!! (teasing) I thought this week sucked! Every day I tried to go to the DZ for accuracy training, it either rained (two days) was windy (two days) or I had "relative work" in the form of painting and such (two days). Gee, lovely!! So, I wish I would have known earlier that you were home today, Pammi, but I didn't get online nor check my voicemail soon. Guess I figured no one had left anything valuable on there!! Had I known, it would have been fun to come up to Ponca and visit ya!! I will be back in a couple of weeks, I would imagine. I went by the DZ today to give Mike his canopy control video back, but no one was there. So I will call him tomorrow, and maybe mail it to him, or if he lets me keep it a bit, I will keep watching it. I have full-on asked the staff at Skydive Dallas if I can do a canopy control course there and I have been told NO! We have Rob Laidlaw right there on the fucking premises, and I am watching him coach this video and do the jumps! I am thinking, RIGHT! Of course I never asked Rob himself about a canopy control course, even though we are on good terms, but I asked SDU instructors and the DZ manager and was told "no canopy control course." So I am doing it in Cushing. I love Dallas, but...you can't have everything at a DZ, you know? Wow, am I getting off on a tangent here, or what?!?!?! Sorry, fellow sky-wizards!!! Love to thee, The Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  14. Give the GA jumpers shit for sure!! hehe All those humidity nuts deserve it!! Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  15. Well, I *used* to work at a shelter for battered women, and after a nasty landing on the tarmac, I came to work all bandaged up...everyone asked me if I had been abused! Workers, clients, etc.! I told them, "No, this was self-induced." They all looked at me in horror, and I just walked away, thinking...uh, right! I should have just called in and said I was in a car wreck! It would have been totally kosher since I really did look like it. I would go to the grocery to get bandages and such, and the workers would ask me if I had been in a car wreck or some such. Of course, I don't recommend hurting yourself, especially seeing as how you wouldn't be able to jump anyway!! But I thought the story was funny to share with ya'll, just considering "skydiving diseases" or "injuries which cause you to miss work." Right, OK then...I'm out. Sis The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  16. Oh, PT, you know he has had his name in Parachutist before! Surely, he has had it in there for his licenses, if nothing else. You full-on admitted to me that you were looking for an excuse to post! HOSER!!! J/K, Dan... Blues, Freaksister The road to hell is paved with good intentions-but sometimes, good intentions are all we humans have.
  17. I think you are a newbie right away! Maybe there was a problem because of Sangiro's server...we all lost some posts, and maybe new folks got the really raw end of the deal?!?!? Anyway, it takes 50 posts to hit Enthusiast, and I don't even remember how many to get to Old Hand. You get Addict at 600, and so far only Skreamer has that title. Some of us are hot on his tail, though!! Cheers, The Freaksistah "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  18. Well, shit! I can't even move in, because several months ago (eight or so??) when Lisa first brought this up, I logged in and got a username, etc. I couldn't get a house and stuff, because of software probs. on my 'puter. Now I can get in, even on my laptop, but my username is taken and I don't remember my stupid password. I don't have the same email address either, so don't go there. LOL Anywhoooooooo, I am going to try again later, and see if I can get a few heavies to lick my boobs (see old post for reference!!!!) and let me have a place on the block! I HAVE to live close to Pammi...I mean, she IS my long lost sister! Pam, I will bet there were "good wind" times at the DZ today, huh? Shitfire. Oh well. Life goes on. No money for me to jump anyway...hope you had a good weekend!!! Love, Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  19. Uh, I never said that! LOL Besides, I don't even know your "size"!!! You can dream though, honey, you can dream. Better talk to Skreamer though, he might get jealous...LOL... Blues! Thy Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  20. hehe!! you know it is a bad day when you have to land off dz, because the landing area is full of ambulances, police cars, and a heli... ok so that was morbid. give me a break.
  21. LOL! I missed this post completely...don't know how, but I did! hehe...I needed a good laugh today! What a crappy week, with a suitably lame end for it...until PT hooked me up with the laughs!! Thanks, my little Princeton sweetie!! ROFL, Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  22. Thanks, ya'll!! You make me feel better! I should know that at any given moment there are countless other jumpers out there who can't jump for whatever reason. :) Showers...I didn't think about those. Hell I may need five or six today. LOL Blues!
  23. What a boring ass day! It is too windy to jump so I haven't even gone to the dz, looks like it might storm later, I am out of beer, it is Sunday...and no one is online because they are apparently all the dz jumping their happy little asses off! Even Cyberskydiver is offline, that means the weather in Georgia is good...not that I have bothered to look at the weather across the rest of the country 'cause I don't want to get pissed off. LOL I just feel like bitching. No sex, no beer, no skydiving, my GOD what has my life come to? No job, either. No money! Hmm...I think I better go buy a paper and look for work. That should take a couple of hours. Love,Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  24. I don't want to speak for another person, really, but I can't help saying that from what I have been told and the pics I have seen, jumping over New Zealand is breathtaking! I have every intention of jumping over the South Island someday... But you should ask Pyke about all that NZ stuff. He has jumped over Lake Taupo also, if I remember correctly. The prettiest jump I ever made was my first, which was in Mulberry, FL...I could see from coast to coast, I swear! I also jumped in Colorado Springs (Front Range Skydivers) and it was beautiful!! Something about being at 6000 feet elevation! Or maybe the mountains...I don't know! luv, Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
  25. Awww, man...no chance on the Happy Hour then... That and my ICQ isn't working properly!! Oh well, guess I will survive!! My jumping plans haven't worked out this week so hopefully I can jump tomorrow. I had "relative work" today which was an unexpected kink in my plans. Hey you know, I am not always so wild!! I hate to deflate my online personality, but I can be a nice girl too!! LOL Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
