Congrats, Froggie! And I DISAGREE with Wingnut...I am glad I don't weigh what you do!! Damn girl, if you walk around without gear a strong wind might blow you away! How tall are you? Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

Thanks, Carrie! Pyke: I am not promiscuous!! I know what you were getting at however!! Just because I love sex doesn't mean I get very much...since I am selective! Also...you are a guy so of course all the women you meet at the DZ are going to be shaggable! Men will fuck anything! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell -
Yeah it was the hot dogs that made it gross. I wouldn't get my cookies that close to something that nasty for any amount of money! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

You're right, not everyone is into the "shagging scene." I have been a single skydiver since I started, a year ago...and I've don't get into that at all. I see it going on my DZ though. We all stand around the keg and wonder who _______ is taking to his trailer tonight! It kind of disgusts me, it is so unsafe, but skydivers will be skydivers so let them shag I guess! Personally I don't want that reputation...I am known as the girl everyone has tried to get with but no one has ever succeeded, no matter how fucked up I was! I think its all about self-respect!! Whos goin to the flori-bama for mem day??
freaksister replied to cyberskydive's topic in The Bonfire
Ok ok...first...from what I understand Eagle, Pyke wasn't upset regarding DZ politics, he was simply expressing his irritation with Dutch's *posts*. Note the difference. I must admit that although I don't think he intends to do so, Durtch does always seem to end up talking about his DZ no matter what the thread is about. No big deal, we'll all get over it. I take offense to the anonymous poster, although I have not met Bill yet, another DZO who is a friend of mine, Mike Palmer, tells me that Bill is an A-#1 guy with loads of great things to share. I think anyone who is going to post something actually calling another person "STUPID" should post their name. But of course, some people just have NO BALLS. Good thing you said that was the last time you were going to post to this forum...STAY OUT! Anyway, I stand behind Pyke, Cyber and their DZ too. I think some of you took his post the wrong way anyway, so let's just end this now, shall we? Your not like the other kids, in the trailer park

That's right, Pammi!! Actually, I don't think he shall ever find out how much I DO suck, after all!! Damn cocky bastard!! LOL -
Zennie, BWAHAHAHAHA!! You made me laugh so hard!! LOL Like I said, it isn't the nudity that bothers me it was just what is the point of the ad? I NEVER go to wreck.skydiving anymore so I didn't know about the flame war, but I have no intentions to start one here. I just wondered if anyone actually "GOT IT." And, I might add, if a guy gets a woody from a ho in a dirty bathtub of hot dogs, he has some major trailer park issues to deal with!! LOL Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

I just gave $50 to the John Matthews Fund so you aren't making me feel guilty at all! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

HAHAHAHAHA Other obligations, eh? hehe I think Cyber is right on this one!! Go mind your mistress, Phil! I am suprised you are getting out of the house for your much-advertised 100th jump! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

OK, now people!! I haven't heard it in years...so lighten up on my ass!! LOL Maybe it would annoy me now, I dunno. I like a lot of their other shit too, and you know it is all different!! Personally I like what I like so ya'll can just go on!! lol Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell -
Dammit you are always finding a way to talk me out of my money!!! LOl JUST KIDDING! Ok, I'm in but does it have to be an automatic $25? I don't mind that amount, but I wonder if some folks around here might be willing to contribute, but can only afford a little. Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

Hey ya'll, I was reading the latest issue of Skydiving the other day and noticed that a LOT of people wrote in regarding that advertisement for skydivingclassifieds.com. For those of you who don't know, it was an advertisement in the April issue (I believe) and it was a dirty blond chick, kind of skanky lookin', naked, in a dirty bathtub FULL of raw hot dogs! This month their ad is a copy of the receipt for the hot dogs. ???? Purchased from "Western Beef" maybe that's it. Now I am NOT getting into the discussion of whether or not they should use nudity in their ads, as we all know they have other nude ads too, like the pic of the tandem. Anyway, what I am asking is what a bunch of people writing in have asked: WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT AD SUPPOSED TO MEAN? We skydivers are a somewhat wild group of adventure seekers who have a great sense of humor. I suppose we should "get it." However, personally the sight of a naked chick who is gross anyway in a DIRTY bathtub full of the nastiest kind of meat you can buy, does NOT make me want to suddenly visit their classified ads. Just curious what the rest of you had to say!! If any of you don't get Skydiving, ask around your dz for a chance to see this pic. It's just too weird to miss!! lol "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

Dude, I got the $16 subscription and its FINE. I get it around the 10th of the month, which is no problem. You are still getting it every 30 days. Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

ROFL! When I was getting ready to purchase my gear, another jumper I know (male) told me, yeah you'll probably want to get everything all color-coordinated like most females... LOL - Well, true...if I wanted to wait another four weeks I could have gotten my Hornet in my favorite color combo for gear: Black, red, and neon yellow. Then it would have matched my container. I didn't care though. Doesn't matter much to me personally as long as its safe, comfortable and all that jazz. Guess I could get some patch pants and really get crazy! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

I was thinking the same thing Cyber was: Considering what you have jumped so far, a Crossfire might be too high-performance. I think Cyber has a good idea, demo a Safire this weekend and see how much different it is from what you are used to. It will probably handle a lot differently. Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

Pammi, that was soooo sweet!! Thanks a million! I just got up and that is going to start my day off right! I am glad you stuck with it, girl! I remember when your mom was ill and you had some bad experiences jumping, especially that low pull. I was really concerned you might quit the sport. I am glad that everyone here could help you. The next time I come up there we'll do a three-way...See you in June, Mr. & Mrs. Loveland!! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell

Hey Wesley, what I *try* (not always possible) to do is watch a couple of loads and see what their landing pattern and/or flare is like...use something as a reference point. At my home DZ it is the windsock. I found out yesterday (thanks to Pammi!!

LOL!! Hey Pammi, I don't track in circles anymore!! hehe !! I worked on tracking the last four jumps I have done and all of them I maintained a heading. Dean said I even got some really good speed on my track yesterday...now if I would just be more aggressive in RW like that!! hehe Oh yeah, instead of looking over your shoulder for traffic while you are tracking, try looking down between your legs. I haven't tried it yet but I was told it works. I will try it this weekend and let you know! Love ya!! Sis "What we're all really seeking is something where we can feel the rapture of being alive."J.Campbell
