Thanks BPO and Pilot Dave. The printscreen didn't work. I did manage to figure out how to do it though! Play in Media, pause for the frame I wanted then copy and paste to Paint. Then I was able to save to disk and put it in an editing program. Considering the pics are from a video they turned out okay!

Great feeling isn't it? I did my third tandem last week, and still haven't gotten over the thrill! I hope your ear feels better soon. Trying to decide when and if I can afford AFF or SL! DUH! If I had read your post more clearly, I would have understood "helicopter maneuver"! I'm wondering now, if maybe I would just tend to panic! I guess I won't know until I try it! Reading all these posts is so informative

First......Brisco....what were your injuries and from what? Are you doing SL or AFF? Seedy.....I've waited just as long! I am also watching my grandson, daytimes. If at all possible, I will go for it! I'm working on it, believe me. I just can't go without skydiving being a part of my life. Damn, I wish I hadn't waited soooo long. You know what makes me nervous, is landing! I know with training and repeated jumps I will learn. But the thought of bringing myself to a safe landing is scary! With my luck, the radio wouldn't work! There is so MUCH information you have to remember and especially to remember quickly and to react quickly. They say it becomes 'second nature', how quickly, I wonder? I'm just rambling now........ God, I love this post! I've been thinking and thinking and thinking over this question! I have done 3 tandems and I LOVE this sport. Not a day goes by when I don't think about the experience. I'm 54 and am unsure about whether it is a realistic sport for me to do. Now, I'm just thinking about how to finance it and having a spouse who is not the least bit interested but is supportive. There are so many "ifs" and "should I's". It will be interesting to see if this thread stays around long enough to get some replies. If you're here, then you likely are a skydiver...because you're obsessed with anything and everything skydiving and want someone who understands to talk to about it. :) I don't consider myself a skydiver. I am on this site to 'soak up' all the info I can about skydiving. I've done three tandems, with the last one being the most gratifying. Of course nothing compares to your very first step out the door. Nothing has "grabbed" me more than this sport. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to pursue AFF or SL......yet! NO ONE I know understands my feelings for wanting to do this, with the exception of one of my friends who did her first tandem a week ago. She has wanted to 'fly' since she was a little girl. I still don't feel like a "member of this club". J -------------------------------------- Sometimes we're just being Humans.....But we're always Human Beings.

This is good advice.....I agree with you. Now Rhino, just love your son and show him what life is suppose to be like, with a loving father and someone that puts his feelings before others. How can someone not let their child see his father in over a year! The pictures brought tears to my eyes. What a moment for both of you. I hope there isn't a year between the time you get to see him again
