Doesn't make it easier now, but......eventually they do move out! Ah, I remember those years.....I have two grown sons. They both turned out to be great and responsible. Did anyone see the Howard Stern show last night? One of his Interns did a tandem skydive and Howard Stern was a complete 'ass' about it! I think someone ought to challenge him to do a skydive, because his whole attitude stunk! He wouldn't even give the DZ a 'plug', which kind of upset the intern. "age does count" Yes, it does. I realize that if I break a bone, it is going to take longer to heal and I know my bones might break easier. I won't care if I always have to fly a big, slow parachute. I won't be in this sport to compete, but to just have fun! This thread has been very helpful and has gotten the responses that I wanted to hear! Thanks! I just watched this show and I have a question.....I hope it isn't a stupid question, but then how will I learn if I don't ask, right? After this guy's chute released, it seemed as though he spent a lot of time in an unstable position before he could pull his reserve. If he had "arched" sooner instead of 'flailing around', would that have put him stable and then able to pull the reserve sooner? Isn't skydiving great!!!!!! One jump and it makes you feel better already. Hey, things can't get much worse, so they have to get better. It always help to 'vent' a little too, so feel free to vent anytime.
