Girlfriend, I've done it 900 times and I was freakin' hopeless at canopy control as a student and I'm only a bit better than hopeless now. If I can do it.... Oh, I'm kind of sure I could do it, at least TRY, h*ll, I proved to myself I can jump out of an airplane (notice I didn't say a perfectly good airplane!). I just jumped again on Saturday, and it was freaking fun! I just had the greatest TM. But, I doubt you are hopeless on landings! Right now I'm reading "Parachuting, the skydivers handbook" and I plan on reading more than once because I thoroughly want to understand all the terminolgy, you know, upwind, downwind, etc. I will be prepared! The video I had put on a CD....in order for me to play it, I have to go to My computer-drive D and then open the appropiate files in order to play the CD. It opens in a media player for Win98 not Media Player 7.01. From there I can pause, copy, paste.... Could be it is a different file format? I cannot get it to play in 7.01, or I haven't gone out of my way to try very hard, but the 'open' command doesn't open it. You know what is odd, is I had taken a video down and put on a CD. When I play that CD it opens to my old Media Player format and it does have the edit command where I can 'copy'. But I have Media Player 7.01 too, and it doesn't have that option on the tool bar.....I wonder why? Why would they have taken that command off the new player and why would my video CD open in another version player? If you pause the video on the frame you want, then go to edit - "copy", then go to MS Paint and 'Paste' (I think these are the words used, some programs are different) the picture should be there! Well, maybe it was, but I've stalled before and this didn't feel like it, but hey, what do I know? All I know was it was FUN. I've just done some tandems and am starting to feel really comfortable with them, so it might be time to move on to AFF or SL! Today, it was barrel rolls out the door

It wasn't during a spiral, could it have been some kind of rotation or revolution? You know the feeling you get in your stomach when you are in a roller coaster as you go over the hill and start down? That was it. I was enjoying the ride, I guess I wasn't paying attention. Not my dog! Even if it is a chewable, in a flavor Dogs are suppose to LOVE, he won't eat it! I have to give him his 'meds' by the old stand by method, open mouth--put in the meds--close mouth!

I love reading these! It seems as though everyone has almost the same vivid memories! I'll never forget just watching the jumpers before me, dive out of the plane. Of course, nothing compares to the first time at the door and looking down, watching how fast the previous jumper disappears, and then out the door! -
