Way too much time on your hands;-0? Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Actually, if you think about it...there is ALWAYS a tommorrow. For me, I don't worry about the "what-ifs" as in, "OMG, what if the world ends tomorrow?" That type of stuff is silly to me. I always live life as if there WILL be a tomorrow. Call me the black sheep of the forum

I have online banking/investing and I always write things in my checkbook the minute I write a check, etc. Actually, I have my own coding system. If I use my American Express card (which you must pay in full each month) then I go ahead and write it in my checkbook and put a star by the transaction. When I make my payment at the end of the month, I highlight all the stars so I know they were paid for but my balance remains the same b/c I already subtracted the $$$ from my account. I also have a lot of direct deposit/withdrawals. My investment returns and my paycheck are automatically deposited in my account and my car payment, etc, is automatically withdrawn from my account. I schedule this to all happen on the same day so that day, every month, I write it all in my check book. I also, regularly check my accounts online to make sure transactions went through for the correct amount, etc. It sounds complicated but it's REALLY easy. My checkbook is full of codes but they work for me

I've been drinking my whole life...my father always had the second fridge stocked w/ beer and our bar was always well-stocked, too. My mom would give me Kalua and milk before I went to bed to knock me out...ha ha ha Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

Some questions for you Americans about the election
PLFXpert replied to hagar's topic in The Bonfire
I can't believe that was voted down in every state it has been offered. Conversation to boss, "Hey, man, you got any open positions in (insert pot-legal city here), I'd really like to move there...NO? Okay, well, I'm moving there anyway. Give me a call if something comes up." -
Clowns? ~shhhhiiiiiiiivvvver~ I CAN'T STAND clowns. They scare me.

Well said, Bill...I couldn't agree more. I, too, take 15 hours (grad in December!!!) and work 20 hours a week, mostly mornings or afternoons. My days last b/w 7 a.m. and 5 or 9 p.m. most days. I bust my ass so I dont' have shit to do on the weekends but jump and relax, and maybe do the grocery shopping.

Maybe she's left-handed?

Some questions for you Americans about the election

Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think you're an idiot, that to open it and prove them right HE HE HE....JUST KIDDING. I'm neither a Rep nor Dem, I simply vote for the best candidate based on the issues. I don't care for Bush, didn't care for Gore, and didn't like either candidate for the Florida governor position. Geez! I'm not sure yet how I feel about a Republican controlled govt. but time will tell. -
***I guess I'm better off than some since my parents are so cool about my jumping.*** My parents are cool about it. They don't help out w/ $$$ but, b/c they travel so much, they bought a house near the DZ so they could at least see me for an hour or so on the weekend and now I have a place to shower or stay if I want when they're gone. They also bought me a full-faced helmet for Christmas last year. They viewed it as contributing to my safety, not my habit, but I returned it and used the $$$ for more jumps. I thought I wanted one for the winter but I felt SO claustraphobic in that thing. I love feeling the wind on my face. I absolutely went bazerk when I put that helmet on and it pressed against my cheeks and...UGH...not cool. I like my Gath w/ my dytter and sticker that reads, "Girls Kick Ass." I love seeing pictures from behind of me in freefall where you can read the sticker on my helmet. Too cool;-) Speaking of stickers...I thought of a great one, if they'd only make it, to put on my skydiving helmet. It would read, "How's my flying? Call 1-800-Freefly"

This is the typical college student regime, skydiver or not. Usually the $80 goes to beer. As for me, a full-time college student w/ a part time job, I can relate. I love eating food straight from the can, but Chef Boy-ar-Billy likes to make things fresh, so we have a bit more variety than Top Raman, but we still cut back.

Great...I'm in the computer lab at school...I think the whole library thinks I'm a porn-star now.

Me too! I blow kisses to the ones I can't reach. Ha ha ha. I started at a small DZ before I moved to Skydive Deland and everyone there was so encouraging in the plane and this always made me feel like a superstar, so I do the same on every load for everyone else, especially the tandem/AFF students.

HA HA HA! Yea, BZ docked on my na-na once with a BIG smile on his face. In all my early days of jumping, when I was learning to freefly, in every video he took of me I'm blowing him kisses. I pile on the blistex when I jump b/c I'm no straight-faced skydiver in freefall. I am always blowing kiss, laughing my ass off, smiling, sticking my tongue out or whatever else. Once, I was laughing so hard my eyes started tearing up in freefall. It was on my first jump wearing shorts and a tank top. I was laughing to hard watching the skin on my legs flap. I don't care what size you are, your skin will FLAP and it was the funniest damn thing when I looked down, in my sit, and saw it. Paint me in a corner, but my color comes back.

GET READY TO BE JEALOUS: I modeled with her once. We didn't talke much but she seemed VERY nice and VERY beautiful. I'm glad you chose her b/c she has a very womanly figure and not a stick figure

Since we were talking about the most we have ever drank...I thought I'd start one about everyone's favorite drinks. My top 5, in favorite order: 1. BEER (Corona and Mich Light the most) 2. Sangria 3. All the creamy drinks: White Russians, Grasshoopers, Bailey's Irish Creme 4. Kamakazi 5. Margarita w/ orange juice Those were my favorite but I tend to drink #s 1, 2 and 5 the most.

Wow, I didn't think so many, like me, said a short prayer on the way up. That is kinda cool

Oh good, God. My father used to drink a LOT, luckily he was never in town, always traveling on business, but when we'd take road trips, there was nothing but beer in the cooler so I grew up drinking it and have a high tolerance. I shoudl start by saying I typically slow WAY DOWN after I get a good buzz going, but there have been a few occassions I went overboard. The most I ever drank would be a toss up b/w a recent occasion and an old one. The old one was in high school and b/w me and my friend, we drank a whole bottle of goldschlager. I was deathly sick after that. Spinnning, spinning. The recent occasion was at a little tiki bar on the beach right near my house. The REALLY make good strong drinks and for some reason I was drinking Bahama Mama's even though I don't normally drink those. Not only that, but they ALL had floaters on the top. I only remember drinking 5, friends said I had about twice that. At one point, I told BZ to take me to the hospital. I really thought I had poisoned myself. Not one of my more classy moments. I didn't end up going to the hospital but the next day I couldn't stnad up w/out collapsing b/c my heart would start beating so fast and my head would spin. I sat on the couch the entire next day and didn't move. That was six months ago and since then, I have stuck to my beer and occasionally some sangria. I should close, by reiterating that I typically dont' ever get plastered. I drink on a normal basis, but hardly ever past a buzz.

Long Day! School at 7 a.m....straight to work from there until 5 p.m., go home and clean the house and do laundry. Not to mention Chef Boy-ar-Billy is gone tonight so I will have to cook for myself. Ugh! Great, the last time I tried to make mac-n-cheese, I forgot about the water on the stove and by the time I got back to the kitchen, all the water had boiled away.
