  2. I've really enjoyed my CASA tailgate exits.... might just be the novelty of it though. Otter is my favorite workhorse aircraft. Big loads, Big door, relatively fast climb. Balloons are incredible, Heli's are fun. King airs are SPEEDY, but that damn door is so small..... I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  3. Allegedly, Kyle, allegedly. Nah, I'll be there. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251

Jimmy, thanks for mentioning body position. I was taught to pull, pull, then arch. Never thought about arching then pulling. Makes sense though. At least it gives me something else to think about. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  6. I live in a college town, and several of the locally owned pizza places will and often do provide this service. "Yeah I'd large a large peperoni, a 12 pack of bud light, and a pack of camel lights." Most coorporate places would frown seriously upon this activity. If you request this, however, you must TIP THEM WELL. If not, they won't do it for you again. Oh yeah, they remember who you are. That's why I get my pizzas superfast I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  7. While those videos were cool; shutting off engines and climbing on the roof, barrel rolling the plane on exit, etc has GOT to be dangerous. That being said, I'd still consider going for a ride with them.... once or twice- gotto work with the odds here! But seriously, I'd be shocked if no one's ever been severely injured while exiting that plane. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  8. Bravo!!! *clap* *clap* Bravo!!! I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  9. This weekend. Cloudy all day, skies open up about 4:30 p.m. to a beautiful sky. About 37 F on the ground. Had to go up high in the plane to avoid commercial jet traffic. Sitting by the door as we made long circles to wait on traffic to clear. Exited about 15,100 with an open faced helmet and ratty gloves with my fingers poking out the end in spots. FROZE my ASS! Hands completely numb while unstowing breaks and flaring. Couldn't feel my hands until about 5 minutes after landing. Felt like I put them in a fire, but at least I could feel them again. Bought some better gloves with liners as soon as I dropped my rig. Best I can figure it was at least -15 F at exit as front float. I'll never jump cold weather again without proper gear (especially decent gloves!!!!!!!) Was wondering why everyone else looked like Randy from the Christmas Story before they jumped (picture attached) I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  10. Anyone down for a horny gorilla? Barring any slammers, I'll be jumping all day Sat. I'll be whoring myself out to all avaiable fun jumps Here's to some good times! Oh, and I'll be bringing Jose Cuervo. The big bottle. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  11. Alright, I'll be there all day Saturday. Frozen nuts or no frozen nuts, I'll be there. Whaddya say we start a new thing where you thump the ear of anyone not wearing a helmet in freefall? I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  12. If Alabama was favored by more than 7 in a spread, I'd pick Florida as a lock. On the flip side, I wouldn't expect Florida to win by more than say 10. It should be a relatively close game. Even if it's a blowout, should still be fun to watch. I definitely believe the two best SEC teams are going into this game. We'll soon find out who's destined to head to the championship game. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251

  14. That sucks! Best of luck finding her!!! Awsome costumes everyone (except Kyle) , and a great party! Tea party girl deserved the costume win if for nothing other than staying in character for 5 hours straight. Great job. I wish I could've jumped more, but I had a slammer on Saturday that left me feeling like a 90 year old man that had been beat with a bat come Sunday morning. Wowser I felt bad that morning! Good thing all the alcohol kept me feeling pretty good Saturday night Thanks everyone else for a great weekend. And double thanks whoever found and turned in my girlfriend's phone! Andy, I'll try not to be such a stranger in the future. Once my neck stops hurting that is You guys rock! I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  15. Awsome! Now maybe I'll make it through the f*king hoop! This should be a fun weekend! I hope everyone has long johns, or some one to keep them warm. It's gonna be some cold nights. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  16. That means you won't be able to lead the SCR ceremony if we have any graduates. That's sad. That's one of the "highlights" of my skyfest trip.... "you think it's over? It's not over!" I still say we need to get some hoop dives going to get practiced up for some SCSA I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  17. I'll be there Saturday @ noon & all day Sunday. Maybe we should include some hoop dives so we can practice for the SCSA award
  18. Hey, two Auburn guys in a row. 1. Whats your name? Adam Himel 2. How old are you? 27 3. Why did you decide to start jumping out of airplanes? Did a tandem 5 years ago- meh. Did AFF level one because my dad wanted to "bond." I've been hooked ever since. I knew I wanted to do it more, but didn't want to pay $250 each time. Only solution? Get through AFF and get licensed. 4. Are you single or taken? Married? Taken. 5. Do you have kids? No 6. What do you drive? 2002 Pathfinder 7. Have you ever done a kisspass? Yes. On @ jump #50. 8. 19. I just so happen to know a group of hot, young, successfull, & single girls in Atlanta. That's what happens when you start dating someone- you run into their whole cluster of single friends. Then you're like "damn, I coulda gotten that one instead!" Too bad they all hate skydivers...... I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  20. It wasn't like that where I learned. We manifested ourselves and were only limited by who else we could jump with. Having the ability to pick up & put on gear, walk up to manifest, get on the plane , and jump out of it without anyone having to ok what you are doing the first time is a weird feeling. And that's really what i was referring to. There were wind constraints, but there still are. I've seen DZO's ground everyone due to wind. That one's not going to go away. I can see your angle though. Just saying that's when I felt like a skydiver. No one there with the exclusive job of watching over you anymore. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  21. I would have said right after graduating AFF. The last dive you have an instructor go with you and just watch. Or even intentionally throw your ass to make you unstable and you have to come out of it on your own. There's nothing more exciting, and scarier then being cleared to self supervise. That's definitely when I felt like a real skydiver. When the burden of responsibility shifted 100% onto my shoulders. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  22. Alabama is doing very well. I have a strong feeling that whoever wins the SEC chamionship will be in the big game at the end of the year. I thought it would take Sabin one more year to pull the team together, but Bama is going to be a serious SEC contender as long as he's there. It's going to be tough for AU to extend the streak much past 6 in a row. I love college football because you really can't ever tell who's the best going into many games. The excitement/devestation of an upset, non-traditional teams coming to national prominence..... it's always fun to watch
  23. How do you know when it's bed time at Neverland ranch? When the big hand touches the little one. I will be kissing hands and shaking babies all afternoon. Thanks for all your support! *bows* SCS #8251
  24. I jumped 22 times in 4 days at skyfest. A whole lot of my "suck" was left behind in South Carolina. (Why doesn't that sound right?) When you jump that much in that short of a time period, your body makes the adjustments and it just starts clicking. I guess the same is true with tunnel time. So like others have said, get a coach, do more two ways where you just concentrate on the skill you're trying to develope, and jump a shit load in a small amount of time
