the cheapest i have seen a new cypres for is 820.00 from a dealer on ebay he has them on there all the time i on the other got a good deal on a used one from skybytch my reasoning was this: if the costs continue to go down why not buy one 4 years old with the checks done for around 500 then in 7-8 years buy a new one at a lower cost just my .02 hisgoofyness "damn you track fast, it was like something out of a mountain dew commercial..." I graduated from AFF this weekend. Did levels 6 & 7 yesterday. First off, I want to say thank you to the entire Atlanta Air Sportz staff for showing me the way. You guys are GREAT! I think level 6 was my favorite dive out of the 7. The back loops were fun, but tracking... Oh yeah baby!!! I never thought I would feel that much speed. I can't wait to get proficient in that area. I can now also see why people do dives of nothing but tracking! I have some photos on my PC here at work. Can someone please tell me the file size to post? I tried to post one in another thread but kept getting the "too big" error... Now, for all of you Chicago people... I will be in Chicago this weekend trying to lock in to an apartment. I will also try to make it out to Hinckley on Sunday afternoon. Since I will probably living in Schaumburg or Palatine, Hinckley will probably be where I call home on the weekends. well i think it just a matter of someone "has" to die in the train scenario and most choose to save 5 and sacrifice 1, in the medical instance the 5 are already terminally ill and the other man has a shot at full recovery, and as i said before there is no guarantee in organ donations, so why take a life away that would be fully recovered shortly to take a "chance" at saving 5 i understand where you are going with this, but everyone at some point in life has to make a decision based on what they believe to be the right thing to do, and obviously not everyone has the same belief structure ok i will stop rambling now hisgoofyness "you "almost" stood that up..." ok so if they are workers too... do you know what the freight car is hauling, you say if the switch is thrown it will kill the one worker but it will also derail, therefore if it is carrying hazardous or explosive cargo what are the chances of it killing the others and potentially more anyway? will it not be derailed if it hits the 5? just a couple of thoughts hisgoofyness "you "almost" stood that up..." (i hope to finish AFF this weekend) first time I hung out at the DZ after hours... I agree with Bill here. I can't stand the typical "I'll see you in court" attitude. Perfect example is car insurance. Why the heck do you think car insurance costs so much, because everyone that gets hit by someone else travelling over 5 mph suddenly has whiplash as is sueing away. I mean hello, people are such assholes sometimes. I hope I never become part of the system. I really don't want to see skydiving in the courts. That only opens up the judicial system to have more control of something most of them know nothing about.
