  1. Lobbyists, lawyers, politicans & money I think I'll wait for the dust to settle, then scratch head, scratch butt, and act surprised
  2. As I have stated 100 times before. The people who seem to side with Israel are usually uninformed, or have sacrificed their sense of ethics for their sense of camaraderie. Either way some people have a fucked up moral compass. What I can't understand is why people in the good old USA can't see a conncection the behavior of the IDF and their gov't over the last 50 yeaars and the attack on the WTC. The people are for the most part informed &, ethical, in spite of the propaganada in the media. Will the US policy in the middle east take a more balanced approach now that we have a new sheriff in town? Time will tell, But I don't have any unrealistic expectations R.I.P.
  3. Anyone check if the manager has his resume on the job sites Maybe thats how he found his employees resume Mabe the manager doesn't like the competition whiles he's looking for a new job befor the next round of layoff's.
  4. In the big picture what the UN does or the "Neo Facists" et al think, don't mean squat. This crap has been going on for the last 50 yr's, The people in gaza and the other arabs living in the area know it, the isreali's know it, the UN knows, the Isreals arms suppliers know it . So after the media's moment in the sun nothing will change for another 50 yr's. SOS same old shit
  5. ditto HH You can add my name to the list so that anyone that wants to donate can. One Jump Wonder
  6. No sweat I declare that due the unoffical thirty year rule the double secret hush hush requirement has expired. Trust me. If anyone asks just tell them I said it was OK, and they can checkee checkee with my people.
  7. Hi Nick You got the pic's, the time line and the names so it's goota be true except one minor detail IMO NO way would Ted Mayfield spill the beans. Some of the jumpers at Ted's at DZ nay have been injured testing the secrete gear. But we all know Teds a stand up guy and wouldn't rat out the Feds no matter the test jumpers injury rate. R.I.P.
  8. Sorry, it was a feble attempt at sarcasm! I was refering to the reference (above) to "Trailers" and tring to imply that we would appear to be (at least to most woofos) a group of "trailer trash". Not to offend anyone, but hell, look at it from an outsiders point of view?? All in fun, of course! Sarcasm is a form of ironic speech or writing which is bitter or cutting, being intended to taunt its target. (wikipedia definition) Hi skyjumpenfool Thanks for the clarification. One Jump Wonder
  9. So you are talking to wonder boy Andy? My skin is plenty thick enought to deal with a jack ass! And i dont act like a fucking kid that cant deal with being wrong! Where's the love? Ganging up on one poster is so....high school. We can make our own conclusions about their posts. WMW: Excuse me for saying this but your hot when you cuss.
  10. I think the laid off workers whole family includeing grand parents and the Dr that was present at their birth should all be drug tested before any unemployent is paid. Bonus's are exempt from drug testing per contract One Jump Wonder
  11. QuoteYup! Most of the DZ's I've seen are kind of the "Trailer Trash" variety of social structure. Given the nature of the sport, they also tend to be on the lower end of the Traier Trash spectrum. Also, on a scale of One to Ten, for perspective significant others, it would not quite fall within the given parameters for this scale (less than 1). Quote Hi skyjumpinfool How are you today
  12. Don't know anything about different BB models But the other day we sent a email to our elected offical and he called us back on his BB in about 15 minutes Somehow where ever he's at his BB vibrates when he gets a email at his office. Since he was waiting for a meeting to start he was able to use his down time to call me and respond to my email. IMO the BB can be used to increase productivity in the business world. Personally I'd rather have a email from a elected offical to document what I was told. Just in case the politican forgets what was discussed but thats another topic. BB sound like a great tool to bad there so expensive with all there bells and whistles. Anyone want to donate the BB they don't like (with the prepaid plan) to a poor retired x skydiver living on a fixed budget. One Jump Wonder
  13. There you go - that's the best the gun-o-phobes have got: blaming law-abiding gun owners, for the actions of criminals. This is priceless! We're still waiting for one of you guys to tell us your proposals to rid the nation of gun crime. Either put something forth, or admit that you've got no ideas, other than blaming the innocent. JR My proposalto rid the nation of "gun crime" by crooks is to enforce the 2000 gun laws that are already on the books. For a long time there has been zero tolerance for drug dealers. The same stds of extended sentence's needs to be applied to crooks with guns. Sorry don't have a solution how tp prevent the nutter from doing what they do except for personal responsiabily for gun owners to maintain positive control of their firearms. Nutters the chief of police of Tacoma Wa used his duty weapon to Kill his wife and then himself in a public place in front of their children. Sometimes in spite of all the laws in place even if the police are the only ones carrying guns they still have the potential of going over to the dark side.
  14. If we told you on a public forum than the ratio would change before you got here However since we're a skydiving brotherhood just for you. if you send me your SS# DOB and CC# I'll provide you wiith a list. R.i.P. HAHA, that's funny. I thought this post would get a better response. I think the above poster is right about this belonging in Bonfire...oops. It seems to me that dropzone real estate is an important component of male social display. The better the trailer, closer to the bathrooms, etc. the better your "social" opportunity. I'm a new monkey so I am still too low on the social scale to aquire a nice trailer with heat and air conditioning considering the limited space . I do, on the other hand, have a nice heated blanket for the couch. I have advertised this asset but it seems that somebody elses trailer is a much better option for the ladies . Any suggestions for a new monkey? Mr Monkey I wasn't trying to be funny Trust me I've recieved mass qty's of responses via PM in response to offer of my post However since your a fellow bro jumper i'll give you some free advice. Based on the very high male/female ratio at your DZ. Your low socio economic level and maybe more important your low jump numbers Your starting out with three strikes against you in the DZ babe lotto. A sky lady on DZ.com (wing suiter) has a sig line something about "for girls on the DZ the odds are good but the odds of finding a good one are poor" IMO your looking for love in all the wrong places, Find your lady from outside the skydiving community, someone thats interested in you as a person and not how much bling bling you got, what kind of a car you drive etc. Warning When you find your lady
  15. If he violated the law, he should be prosecuted. But that's not my point - that's after the fact, which is too late. Prosecuting now, didn't stop the shooting from happening earlier. If you want to be preemptive, to stop shootings from nutters before they occur, then you're going to need Gestapo police-state tactics. Are you willing to go that far? Hi JR Preemptive isn't going to happen unless we go to the 1984 book scenario Thought police and all that stuff. The nutters dad screwed up it was, dad's gun, dads ammo he needs to be proscecuted to the full extent of the law. (Maybe x 17} Yes its after the fact but if dads punishment is severe enough than some of the other gun owners might not make the same mistake because they'll remember that dads punishment was swift and severe, A lot of innoent people paid the ultimate price because son and dad screwed up. Being sorry doesn't count. JR Thanks for your response

  17. Do you want the police randomly entering homes to inspect them for compliance with home gun storage laws? Heck, while they're at it, they could search for illegal drugs too. And water flow restricters in your shower - yeah, gotta check for those too. We can just call it a "annual government home compliance inspection". There, that doesn't sound so bad. Do you want video games featuring gun violence to be banned? Yes, laws can only do so much - which is just about nothing. Then at some point you have to draw a line in the sand between more laws, and freedom, because if you add too many of the former, you end up with not enough of the latter. You can turn your country into a Gestapo state trying to stop gun violence, but would it be worth that? John I think we agree there are enough gun laws in place. If a person commits a crime they do the time with lots of extra's for using a gun. The "police state" doesn't have to snoop around to figure out the kids dad screwed up. Thee aree 17 people dead. DAd screwed up and IMO should be held responsible. JR do you think the kids dad should be held responsiable even if its after the fact and won't bring the murdered people back from the dead A simple yes or no is ok.
  18. And if you knew anything, you would know that I have been against they bail-outs, in their entirety, since inception. Despite that, people are getting bent over nothing in the scheme of what the government has created (pre-dating President Bush), and what the current administration is perpetuating. Any gov't is FUBAR Unless they control all information. Then they will meet their goal of 100 %excecution with negative indicators. Just because some people think the AIG CF is no big deal that opinion is insignificant to the people that don't agree. Thats why we have SC
  19. Back in the day I weighed 135# and was able to jump all the round gear with no problem. Not because I was good I was a light weight. IMO go for a T-10 their still being used (or their newer cousins ) so they should be available. A well used PC might be pushing it You also need to be very good at PLF's not just good enough for the FJC. Good enough for a big person landing under a smaller reserve you might e be landing backwards, sideways, fwds or straight dwn. The DZO's back in the day had T-10's for the big boys to use on the FJC. My friend was a big guy, the DZO didn't have enough T-10's so he got the reguler size canopy Wait for the right canopy, right day, right instructor, and practice your PLF's IMO
  20. QuoteI've known a lot of them through the years, never met one that wasn't a friend!
  21. Hausse How much do you weigh? been practicing your PLF's? If your a big boy? Have access to a T-10 canopy? Spotting for the ranch on a no wind day souldn't be to hard. Landing in a tree might be a good thing if the canopy and yur weight aren't compatable. Depending on your size walking away may be harder than you think.
  22. Employment contracts really aren't that complicated. If their's includes bonuses for sales or profit levels, it's rather straightforward. Bonuses derived from overall company success, otoh, aren't guaranteed, though once the company has granted it to an employee, I don't think they can play backsies. What happened to andrew? To bad andrew you missed your shot. Next
  23. Ah yes, hope springs eternal for the gun-o-phobes. How do you propose to do that? John The from what I've read about the incident in germany. Would you allow your kid access to the handgun that you keep for home protection when your not home. How you going to use a gun for "home protection" unless your there. According to the press reports the kid in germany enjoyed playing video games that had theme of killing people. (nothing wrong with video games unless you mix the consequences of make believe games that depict killing make believe people with real guns, bullets, and real people. If the news reports are true How did the kid get hold hundreds of rounds of ammo. Why didn't dad keep all his shit locked in his safe with the rest of his guns until he got home. Laws can only do so much. The kids dad screwed up big time. should the gun laws in germany be changed? Not my place to say but in my opinion dad should be prosecuted. What would you do as a daddy in texas.
  24. Thats I nice laundry list of gov't that I assume are goverened by dictators. For good measure lets add N korea and China Unlike the countries listed above In the US we have a legal system. Just because someone has a "contract" that doesn't mean that it's valid. Thats what the courts and lawyers are for. Just because you think a contract is a contract and thats the final decision. Back in the day we heard a term regarding construction contracts that went something like "Just because it says so that doesn't mean what it is. I'm not a Lawyer or even someone specializing in contract law how ever I did sleep at the holiday inn last night. Unless you are a lawyer and you know what the AIG contracts say, well how the hell do you know what the you talking about. This isn't about politic's its about the law and due process. R.I.P.
