I've got news for you. It makes no difference what your CO. thinks or signs. If you're in the military, you're covered. It's one of the perks. Thanks for your service. John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

What fraud are you talking about? If one is paying Quote100-500/month for medical insurance, it's reasonable to expect actual medical care for it. And given the stupid remarks you may hear from doctors (esp interns) and nurses, maybe there's a benefit to improving the story. You'd hope their actual medical care wouldn't be harmed by their prejudices, but certainly affects their bedside manner. ***Anyone that has health insurance knows what it covers. If you want something that covers jumping, then you should buy it. Knowingly lying to get someone else to pay for your medical bills is stealing, and anyone that steals is a thief. There is almost nothing lower in my book than a thief. Just because you get away with it doesn't make it ok. Think about it, would you want your children (if you have them) to know you were doing this? John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

QuoteOk, you guys, give it a rest. Let the Mods enjoy the holidays, ok? *** What? Walt and I were just sitting around, talking about Jesus when these European wingsuiters jumped us. Oh Andrea, it was horrible! I hope you have a happy festivus. John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

I think that the only way we can put all of this to rest is to start a thread where only respectful and reverent things are said about Loic. Why don't we start with some excerpts from Havensiagnst's diary. John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

No-one is flaming this Jean-Albert guy. Nobody is above a litlle good natured ribbing, not even skydiving's biggest star. I'm sure he's a great guy and if he saw how personally all these man worshippers have taken a little sarcasm and harmless fun, he would probably kick them in the nuts. As I've said before, get over it. John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

QuoteRepeat 500 times or until you get the general idea. Jeez!!! I don't doubt that he's humble. The humble people I know have the ability to laugh and not take themselves too seriously. Some of the people they know actually realize that and don't get bent out of shape at some good-natured ribbing. *** Maybe we could start a support group for easily offended skygod groupies. QuoteWhen I had about 200 jumps and knew practically nobody in the sport, I did a wingsuit jump with Loic in DeLand. Later that night after beers I had to leave. I wanted to say goodbye to him but noticed he was in a very heated discussion with the entire PD team (Moledzski, Pilcher, etc). He was describing some canopy mods he had come up with for swooping and they were all VERY intently listening. I did not have the balls to interrupt so I tried to sneak out behind him. Halfway to my car I heard somebody running behind me and I turned around and Loic was chasing me down to say goodbye. *** My, aren't we the name dropper. There are alot of skydivers that I have alot of respect for, but not one that I would'nt have the balls to interrupt. This whole thread started out as light hearted fun. Some people just live for reasons to be offended. Once again, lighten up. The world isn't ending. John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

Quotedo you even know where europe is? i bet some of your americans believe it`s the capital of Helsinki or something ***I know very well where Europe is, When I'm feeling down, I like to go there and do a little 3rd world slumming to remind myself how good I have it over here. In the Spirit of Christmas, I'm going to let Jean-Albert have sole posession of the title "Skydivings biggest star". From now on, I will be known as "The worlds most beloved skydiver", write it down. Why is everyone getting so steamed? Where's that European sense of humor? Jean-Albert doesn't seem to mind our poking fun, of course he's probably way too busy taking out restraining orders on his salad tossing wannabe fan club to read DZ.com. Why don't you guys lighten up a little, maybe try to get laid. (Not you Jean-Albert, I'm sure you're swimming in women) Get well soon John Wright World's most beloved skydiver

QuoteAcross two different disciplines he has been a world cup winner, 5 times national champion, twice europen champion and twice a medallist at the world meet, is regarded by everyone that knows him as being the best wingsuiter on the planet not to mention being the guy that did this... and you know half a dozen guys who could make him look like a student! *** Do I sense a man crush here?
