Bill Von - Most likely the real brains behind this whole operation Actually as I started thinking more and more and about everyone I have met from this site or had some sort of correspondence with appear to be way above average people. So there are deffinately other nominees that should be mentioned but the above seem to stick out the most at the moment. So does the winner get a full page picture on the home page?

Well one thing is we rarely get weathered out during the summer. It is very rare anyway.

I did 592 jumps this year... One reason for the high number is I go to the DZ every single f-en weekend... plus I have instructional ratings which allow me to get on almost every load and get paid. I Sebazz Nicolas am a skydiving whore. I love the sport. My goal for next year is to get 593 jumps or more... Cheerio....

I do not know if it was mentioned in one of the above posts yet but one of the reasons I like to encourage handle checks in the order you would use them is that the motion or repetition of doing them on the ground creates muscle memory. So in a malfunction situation your procedures should be just a fleating thought as you execute them. Kinda like second nature...

Same here. I am saving my PTO for long warm days in the middle of the summer. More importantly. Lost Prarie. My own little personal X-mas.

Let's be careful to not be too insensitive here folks. Let me tell you why... ok? I have no idea what just happened here. But the Rick I know and the Rick many people posting here on this very site know is one hell of a guy. And not to say the above articles look way way bad, I ask everyone to be a little more sensitive. The Rick I know has always been an immaculate professional at the DZ. Selflessly(yes in bold!) helping people in many many ways. From coaching, to packing, and to personal issues. The articles above depict some completely different person. So I ask everyone to leave this thread alone till we find out more. It's very distrubing to me as it is to many other people reading this information. Wierd shit is all I can say.
