You could slip getting out of the shower in the morning, then choke on your cereal, fall on your ass on the sidewalk getting to your car, put your back out slinging your rig into the trunk, crash the car on the way to the DZ, trip and bang your nose on the manifest desk while signing the waiver, and you haven't even stepped anywhere near the big aluminium tube with the whirly things that can chop you up for meatloaf.....But for all this to happen, god must really hate you, and you've probably killed more than your share of kittens! That to me is the cincher, your not being put out by any delays, you wanted stainless, so send it back in. Unless you fancy spending the 300 bucks on a new helmet/dytter/etc, and can cut an even better deal meantime.....     I've seen incident reporting being delayed to these forums for various reasons, Rich knows of the two I am talking about. Both were low turns at a well known DZ, one was delyed for what can only be described as 'political reasons', the other was delayed out of respect for the family of the guy involved. I reckon if its something that can wait...low truns as an example then we need to respect the parties involved.     I see much talk of incident statistical analysis, which is good, people are looking at trends. I use statistical analysis to run quantified risk assessments for petrochemical installations. However for the stats to be meaningful, we need a whole lot more, and a lot more detail on injuries. This sort of accurate data takes years to accumulate, that is time we obviously don't have. Meanwhile people continue to get hurt 'needlessly'. Why don't we get off this stats thing and go with what we all feel to be true. That is to accept that HP landings are hurting a higher proportion of our friends than any other cause (eg lo/no pulls, mid air collisions, and equipment failures).     The software needs to be installed along with drivers for your Firewire card. After that its best to have your cam hooked up and powered on before you start premiere, at least this way you can see if your cam is being recognised by the computer first.     Oft promised seldom realised, best bet for UK, would be the Bristol balloon festival, or equivalent somewhere on the continent. I know of a couple of peeps who have jumped at the BBF. Its not regular, so may take some paperwork and a large amount of folding moolah.
