Ok.. One more pic.. This is her outfit from the Talent Competition. The character she was playing was The Good Witch From Wicked (A play about the Witches of the Wizard of Oz growing up). I do make a pretty good looking kid huh?

The Biggest Cause of Global Warming is Cow Farts (Methane Gas). The smelly candles are the second Biggest. This deadly combination will soon completely destroy the earth and all life as we know it when one day the concentration of methane gas is ignited by the Candles. We must all do our part. My solution is to eat more Steak thus cutting down on the number of Cows out there Farting (Cause we all know there is no way women are going to give up the candles!!). Stop Global Warming!! Eat more Steak!!

Just got home from a exhausting day with my Daughter. She was in a Beauty Pageant in the small Town she lives that started at 2pm today and didn’t end till 10pm tonight. This pageant fairly big deal in her little rural community. 40 year Old pageant and most of the previous winners still show up every year proudly wearing their Sashes. I am not a big fan of Beauty pageants in general but my daughter really wanted to compete in this because it such a big deal and first place is a $2,000 scholarship to an Modeling and Acting School and the winner gets to represent the community over the next year at a lot of different events. She beat out a lot of other very beautiful and talented girl. She is now Miss BHS 2008. Youngest ever to win the crown as she is only a Sophomore. She also won a separate award for Most Talent/ Best Performance. I never thought I would be so proud of her winning a beauty pageant but I know how hard she worked for this for months leading up to it. The pictures didn’t come out that great but here are a couple.

We get Two Floating Holidays a year (Presidents Day and Good Friday). We can take them on the Holiday or at a later date. I am working this Friday and taking my Good Friday Holiday next Friday for the Good Vibes Boogie.

The Cliqueyness definitely has a lot to do with it I think. The Familiarity/Predictability as kitty commented on is also a good point. None of this is new anymore but does that make it Bad? Attention seekers have always been here and most likely always will be. "Look at ME" has always been a pretty common trait among Skydivers and people in general. Calling them out on it generally only gives them what thay want. Those that want to come out make some jumps, Share some laughs and have a drink or two afterwards.. Come on. Those that do not, I hope they find something they enjoy as well.

Start looking at Febuaray next year? The Holidays are busy for alot of us and January is usually spent recovering from the Holidays. I am thinking Feburary 20-28, 2009.

I am just curious here. Over the past year this site has seemed to take on a different personality. What was once a friendly welcoming place where people came together from all over to share some laughs and their passion for life seems to now be filled with hostile, condescending and argumentative people. Sangiro created a great place for us to come together. When this place was really getting started and Rec was still around, the Rec trolls would refer to this as the place for Shiny Happy People. For some of us, that was breath of fresh air. A Place where people were actually friendly towards each other. People came from all over for gatherings like the 02 Holiday Boogie, The DZ.com tent at Rantoul was packed with people for a year or two, the first few Dublin Boogies where 100`s showed up. Every weekend it seemed we were traveling somewhere to meet up others that we first met on this site. There was very much a since of community that seems to be fading here. It reads more like REC every day. I think it goes beyond the graphic posts that Sangiro has already addressed. the tone and atmosphere seem to have changed. There is a very different tone here. Some of the more prominent posters now seem to be quick to see how rude they can be without crossing the PA line. Their objectives seem to me to be to establish themselves by putting others down. What happened? Am I the only one that is seeing this? Why is it happening? Inevitable Growth and change? Losing so many of our core personalities like Holly, GFD, Deuce, Skinny and others? We all finally got to know each other and realized we didn’t like each other after all? Just plain time for Change? I am just getting old and everthing always seems like it used to be better? I still love this site and the people I met through it and the great experiences I have had over the past 6 years thanks to this site. I just hate to see what was once a warm welcoming place changing into a REC like hostile environment. What are your thoughts?

I disagree. I think "Ms. Carlie Simon Wannabe but really needs to find a Buffet and eat some Cheeseburgers" is going to around for along time. Most likely Top 5 or so.
