Someone with a smile and positive disposition is going to get alot further with me than a "Hottie" with a poor attitude and/or a Hottie that is clearly trying to manipulate me. This goes well beyond just the biased election coverage (On Both sides, FOX news just as guilty for slanting everything to the right). Even the local nightly news will usually run commercials that say things like "Local Playgrounds could be killing your children, Story at 6:00pm on WKXY" or other such crap. Their jobs are to get rating and any journalistic integrity is lost along the way. What ever they can scare you with today will be the top story. The local Paper will look at the news and choose the most frightening headline they think they can get away with because they know that is what sells papers.

Wow. This makes me sad to read. Rude would be to NOT hold the door for whomever is following. To take that simple act of common courtesy and see it as a personal affront is frightening.

Orson Scott Card is much more than a Democrat and a newspaper columnist. He is one of the best writers of the past century in my opinion (Second only to Heinlein). His book Enders Game and all the supporting books show an amazing insight and understanding of both Political and Military mindsets and consequences of political/military action. Journalism is dead in this country. The media discovered long ago that FEAR sells. Both ends of the Spectrum know that secret to selling their “News” is to spin it in a way that will scare people the most.

Dave.. He got off on a technicality. He fully admits to planting Bombs. On September 11, 2001 he said he wishes he had bombed more. He published this in the New York Times. He was never convicted but his crimes are not in question. Thus far he has got away with terrorism. He does not deny it. He is actually rather proud of it. Saying he was never convicted does not change the FACT that he is a terrorist. Bin Ladin hasn’t been convicted yet either. Is he a terrorist? -

Nope.. But we can fire their ass if they don’t cut it and hire someone that does. There is also motivation to do so as it helps keep our costs under control. Mistakes in private industry cost money. We don’t like that.

Guess what. I am a registered Democrat. Registered to vote in 1986 just out of high school but then I started working for a living. Never changed the registration. As for mistakes, ANYONE that is eligible to vote (regardless of affiliation) and takes the time to register of their own volition should be allowed to vote and have that vote counted. As for behind on his Taxes.. Been there done that. Easy to do in a services business.

I speak for myself and only myself. I do not belong to any group. I assume others do as well. If there is a screw up and legitimate voter is being denied the right to vote (especially a Vet) then it is critical that that error gets corrected. The party he is voting for is irrelevant. So.. Kellend.. is Joe a Plumber?

I dont recall screaming or any change in coloration. Just saying that It was a silly question. "Is he a plumber?". He does pluming for a living. Of course he is a Plumber. You clearly have me confused with someone else. I dont recall posting anything at all about a vet. Many people I know and respect will be voting democrat including my own mother. I have no problem with that at all. I do have issue with people that did not of their own volition go out and register to vote and we possibly BRIBED or coerced into doing so voting. No matter which party they vote for. I also have issues with voter fraud no matter which party gets the votes from people that are dead or do not exist. That is not the answer obama gave when he was asked that question.

Bill.. Kellend asked the question "Is he a Plumber?". Read the Topic. The answer is this is a guy that does Plumbing work for a living. What would you call him? I think most anyone would call someone that earns a living doing Plumbing work.. A Plumber. The initial attack was brought up by Kellend in if this guy was in fact actually a plumber. Of course you want to spin this as being a McCain negative attack. It isn’t. It is a response to a Valid question brought up by a PLUMBER. Seriously.. There are some very bight and intelligent people in here, But it seems any logic and common sense at all goes right out the window in effort to make the opposition look bad. Joe is a Plumber. He asked a Question. His question has been answered. He would actually pay less under Obamas plan in his current role. However if he succeeded in achieving his goal of buying his company, The Taxes would be Higher under Obamas plan.
