  1. Last year I came to the realization that "someday" never comes. SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
  2. I'm not so sure about that Spence. I knew a lot of idiots with fast cars in high school who were definitely NOT in possession of a type-A personality. They did, however, share one common trait: testosterone. SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
  3. If you really want a setup to do that for next year, just drop me a line. - David SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
  4. Hmmm makes for interesting hang points for hybrids for sure. And the damn scariest horseshoe point of attachment. (Replace the pud with a hackey now!) SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)

  6. ...and one of the best video clips of the week that I saw was the swoop landing onto the back of the running atv. I can't remember for sure, was it Ben swooping and Shimmel driving? Good times...good vibes. - David SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
  7. Are you taking the quotes out of context?? I don't drink beer # 1 and # 2 never fallen asleep on the couch at the DZ. Nah, I meant Billy. You should try it. The zombies cover you up with blankets if they're feeling sympathetic. Did you ever wonder why the bunkhouse mattresses are covered in plastic? 10. Recently I saw a sticker on a motorcycle helmet: Online, I saw another: Although this thread is fairly old, I think that most of the information is still valuable. However, I do want to ask if a sticker such as those above on a helmet can lead to problems potentially? In a real accident aid situation, would anybody even notice something like this? By the way, there is a course presented in California on accident scene management which mentions training for those providing assistance to helmeted victims. http://www.accidentscene.net/ - David SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)

  16. I like mine. My decision was between the Havok and the Freezr Mk2. I looked at both of those due to my glasses being a PITA with goggles. The negatives about the Freezr were that I needed to use two hands to open the lid while I could use just one for the Havok (left or right). The other was the cost of the replacement lens...$75. I do like how it looks however. Smooth and cool. The Havok has worked fine for me, and I move my head like a chihuahua on crack while under canopy, so I haven't noticed any limitation on my peripheral vision. I use Cat Crap on my glasses, so fogging isn't much of an issue on most days. The Havok lens has not fogged yet. It has a good anti-fog coating from the factory. I'm not sure how different the Mamba is from the Havok size-wise, but it looks like a good helmet with a good fan base. YMMV - David SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)

  20. I wonder how many jumps it took for the guy to figure out to wrap the claws. I hope he had some bandages and antiseptic waiting at the DZ. SCR #14809 "our attitude is the thing most capable of keeping us safe" (look, grab, look, grab, peel, punch, punch, arch)
