Would you let one of your students wear a jumpsuit that had booties? Im asking becasue im a fairly bigger guy and the biggest jumpsuit my dz has is still kind of tight and ive been told that it increases my already hella fast fall rate(150+mph as entered in my log book..im told i arch too hard during the dive flow..but its comfortable for me and if i de-arch ill tense up). I have a firefly suit that fits perfect and its a lil baggy so im thinking it would slow me down...but do ya'll think booties would add unnessessary factors to a student jump. Im about to rejump level 3 for currency and levels 4 and 5 in the same day weather permitting. What is your opinion on this matter? Also..the jumpsuit also has swoop cords but im not even attempting to use them. It does directly impact me for the simple fact that i am the best baker on this base. They asked me to go in the bakeshop and do her job. I rarely ever tell someone that im not going to do something....but i said hell no. Me doing that would jsut make it more easy for her to get away with it. Im not sure how its going to work...but thats how the navy is...and its navy wide...not jsut and isolated incident within my command. This is my third command and its the same here as it was everywhere else i have been. OK....so everyone came into work this morning on time....except for one person....like they always are...very late. Everyone else had to be here at 5:30 am. It is now 12 noon and they still havent show up yet. This person is habitually late..and i mean that in every sense of the word. I honest to god cannot remember a time when she was on time to work AT ALL. My watch captain wants to send her to captains mast but my new warrent officer wotn do it because "he hasnt been here long enough". COMPLETE BS! She has a novel stack of counseling chits for the same offense...being late to work...and im not talking 10, 20 or even 30 minutes...im talking HOURS. And he still wont send her...but i guarentee if it was someone else they would have already been at mast. Ironically about 9 months ago when she was my watch captain she grilled my ass when i was 30 minutes late to work(the second time ive been late in 2 years at this command)....and now she is acting like this. It seems as though if you are a complete shitbag then the military doesnt expect much out of you...at all. I told my watch captain that the next loing week we work..im going to come in at 9 am for a week straight...which would be 4 hours late. And ill write myself up and put myself on report and send myself to captains mast. If my warrent officer lets it go up....lol..that will make him look REALLY bad becasue i damn sure will bring up the fact that im there and she wasnt. Just yet another reason why im getting out of the military. in most states that is wreckless driving..you will have to go to court..but being that you havent had a ticket in over 10 years they will prolly knock it down to a general speeding ticket...hopefully. ii have 4 tatoos. All of mine have some specific meaning to them. My personal opinion for tats go...if it doesnt have meaning to your life..why would you want it on your body. I think the people that get tats because they "look cool" or are just the "in thing" are pathetic. So its permanently on your body..what about when the "in thing" isnt "in" anymore.....you're stuck with it unless ya fork out the cash to get it removed. The only time i havent brought beer was when i went out with the purpose of learning how to pack. I know i didnt owe beer for every aff jump i did..but i did it anyway. i get along great with her dad. i can see wew are already going to be drinking buds...no issues there. he already said i could crash there and pocket the per diem. i told him ill be his personal chef...so its an equal trade off. I thought i said after i went to the 25 dollar and hour pay rate it would be 67K a year. But yeah..thats what i meant. even at 46 a year with 15/hour..thats not too bad considering im coming right out of the navy and i dont have a finished degree yet. At least thats my opinion. umm..after month ill go to 25 dollars an hour...with per diem = 67,600. 25*40 hours a week...plus 300 per diem. i think you should check your math there. And as far as the expenses he told me i could crash with him as long as i cook...lol. even trade off if ya ask me...cooking for two people...yeah..i can do that with my eyes closed. as far as the wedding....lol..there are some thing that have to get worked out before that happens. honestly..this is the first woman in a LOOOOOOOOONG time i actually completely click with.
