OK - you finally got my attention. Can you pin point on a map showing both sides of the Columbia the location of this slide. For YRS I have told about a location Weber took me to in 1979. A location on the WA side of the river just West of the PDX. When I was there in 1979 - there was NO house, but Duane told me there used to be a house. - obviously he had stayed there. This was the location where he went down a steep hill to the river and told me to stay in the car. It was STEEP to the river at that point. He was down on the river for sometime and was getting out of the car after seeing his head come up the hill and ASKED if it was alright if I got out. He popped the trunk and he had our snow shovel in his hands - but, did not see the other hand due to the trunk being opened. I am out of the car stretching and he tells me where we are. He tells me that just to our left is the PDX, but that I can't see it because of the slight curve and the trees. He then points to the North and NOTES the tracks to me - it was at this time he tells me about how slow the trains went thru there....due to an exchange or switch or something in Vancover (we were in Vancouver, Wa). He points beyond the berm and past the rails and tell me there used to be some very some nice home in there. Said he he used to know someone who lived there...I never found out who lived there because the property records would not assist me without an address. An Ariel map of the area from 1979 might help me narrow it down but NOT an address (the house that wasn't there on the river).. I was able to get NO help on this.

Robert how can he give you a precise location when just a few days ago he thought Beacon Rock & The Bridge of the Gods - was involved? He ADMITTED he was unfamiliar with the area - and you want to know the PRECISE location he is talking about. All he knows at this time is what he is researching - so give him a break. What I said was NOT meant to discredit you - just an observation regarding things that have happened outside of the thread in the last 11 months - things not discussed on the thread. I had communication - sometimes uncomfortable communications with Bulljax and then after I piss him off Flyjack (you) appeared on the thread. Your conversations on the thread resembled the "fishing expedition" he was on. He would take things that meant nothing by asking me questions and then BUILD a story. The more it advanced the stranger it got. When I felt threatened by his contacts - I reported him to the FBI in Seattle. He knew nothing about the skyjacking when our conversations started, but he evolved. Like yourself he didn't know WA well. At any rate I was NOT demeaning you - just stateing the similarity in explorations and your screen name. I only recently mention this man to the thread and then YOU show up with the same demeanor. The man claimed he did NOT read the thread but had a partner who did relayed things to him about the thread. Ha Ha Ha has a character known as Ms Fuchs. Strangely and oddly there was a Ms Fuchs in the life of Duane Weber. A woman Duane had a relationship with in the 70's. Unusual name would you not admit? I had forgotten about this woman and I was reminded of the irony between Ha Ha Ha and the life of Duane Weber. Guess what Duane was converting to cash during his last yrs - GOLD and Silver Coins! Yet this book was written as a spoof, but perhaps it was NOT all just a story! THOSE GOLD and SILVER coins I did NOT have knowledge of until the last 5 yrs of his life - AFTER he made a trip to OMAHA, NB to a saft deposit box under the name of John Collins. Wonder if he did NOT pay it FORWARD for another 10 yrs - is that why the FBI REFUSED to provide me with proof Duane was also John Collins as Msshutter did recently. The bank is gone now and all that might have been left in it was a ticket or some item that proved Weber was Cooper. HA HA HA BY D. B. COOPER As for FLYJAX that is a take off from a am who has told a similar story to me for 9 months by the handle of BULLJAX. That post put a smile on my face. I can't believe that you guys have NO idea where those maps came from. Sluggo did them! They were his grafts and NOT ones the FBI did. Sluggo suceeded in confusing the hell of you guys. After his visit here - which I am sure was only to diss me. He tried to throw away that thread....after picking it from the knife - I stopped him and put the thread back in the knife with tweezers. If the FBI was interested in solving the case - why didn't they have samples of the cut rope. Everyone took Sluggo's maps as gospel. Perhaps robt99 needs to take the FBI records and the maps used in 1979 and create a real map and not rely on information that has been tweaked! Thank You, I knew I did NOT imagine it, but in reading what you just wrote....1980. Wonder if the sign read Tena in 1980 and there was a picture publicized. I WAS thinking and when Jo thinks usually there is trouble ahead. WHAT if there was NO TENA sign there in 1980 but, was there in 1979? I know I have a good visual memory, but is it that good. I can remember grave markers and road signs and the Lake I thought was a river. Damn it I know I saw the sign in 1979, because Duane mentioned THE BOYS and there was box and you dropped a nickel in it so you could use the beach. Never anyone to enforce it...was on the honor system. Oh, My God I just remember what he said....but, when did I see the box. If it was in 1979 then it would have been in articles that showed the beach (remember the media could have used old pics) as it was a crime scene and I am sure someone had a picture of the sign and the gate. Oh Well, at least I know I am not crazy old Jo.

According to the flight path the FBI and others DICTATE - no way he was over the WASHOUGAL, but so much of the story I was tolded seemingly involved the Washougal area. Yet, I am told it is impossible per the projected route and YET another well know Cooper searcher maintained until recently that Cooper hit in the Washougal area. Per the flight track being projected by the FBI and the "facts" there was NO way Washougal was involved. I argued till I was blue in the face. When I was out there in 2010 I realized time and space was not part of my memory of the places Weber took me. BET your subject worked on the pipelines &/or powerlines. The GUYS knew that area real well.... Duane claimed to have known 3 guys who he had worked with who went to Mt Hood after the left an area in the 40's. One of the guys played a guitar and wore boots and everywhere he went that guitar went with him. He also rode horses at fairs. NO ONE ever found this old friend of Webers, but surely there was more than one guy who fit that description in the mid 40's. Well, I know we found him but the dead do not talk....and I could never find any of his family to see if they had some old pictures. Good Luck Kiddo! You are starting where I started 18 yrs ago and now I am 73 yrs old and the FBI will not do any investigation beyond what they have which was no more than prints. Could it also have meant keeping his voice very low. "Found evidence that he may have been at the north end of the Bridge of the Gods, a possible escape route,,, " The Bridge of the GODS - you do know that JT said NO way I was at the Bridge of the GODS in 1979 with Weber. We got out of the car and stood on a high place above the river as he told me about sailing and the BOYS and Rocks and the DAM East of us. You know that THE HOOD is just down the road and the beach that the BOYS used to go to. Beacon Rock is also on the other side of the Columbia and a place the BOYS used to jump off the rock. NOT sure what they were jumping into or from where or how or why. VERY difficult for the Bridge of the GODS and what is on the North end (which is WA) or was on the north end as late as 1979, was nothing but a road. That is Hwy 14. Weber pointed to a road that went to Bingen and how you could go on up thur there to Goldendale. He told quiet a story about Goldendale and the BOYS. The BOYS probably worked the Apple Orchards and help build cabins and trails and picnic tables. There was a bar there THEY used to go to. I was out there in 2010 and the BAR the name of which I have forgotten (I am 73 yrs old) I went to. I spent 2 days in Goldendale and everything he told me about it was there. The fairgrounds and the CCCamp the rodeo. I spoke with several old timers there. After we turned West on Highway 14 on the WA side he tell me about Carson, Trout Lake and a hot springs up there. As the go West on Hwy 14 he mentions a government camp and log rails. Back up and tell us what he said about The Bridge of the GODs and why you think there is a connection. You do realize that in order for the jumper to have reached that point he would have had to have help. Did you friend tell you about the caves along the highway - up high were the ROAD used to be...until the new one was built. Did he tell you about the Indian Reservation. I will tell you what the FBI told me. If you have a suspect you HAVE to put him on the plane. Of course I asked the agent how the hell I was going to do that. Evidently the agent already knew I had put him in a chute, but I had to put Weber on the plane. He suggested a 20 or the ticket. Of course it is a well known fact the ticket is why I called the FBI - 1 yr and 2 months after Duane died...I had held the carbon of the ticket in my hands a few months before he died...but he had been dead for 1 yr and 2 months when I found out who DAN Coooper was. The ticket was gone and the stub and I sold the piece of a chute at a garage sale. You will need a hell of a lot to get the FBI to hear you. Telling you some of what my story has consisted of - gives you an example of what you are up against - 18 yrs of my life gone! Why age agress the picture - just show what he looked like in whatever you have. I did an age regression (paided the man 2 wks salary for it) and I have since found pictures of Weber thur the help of this thread recently - the age regression the man did LOOKED NOTHING like Weber in the late 60's and early 70's. I did it because when I contacted the FBI I had NO pictures of Weber as a younger man. Maybe the soft ware you used is more accurate than artist who worked for law enforcement in 1996. *** Jo, The T-33 took off from Portland International Airport and was shortly thereafter directed to intercept the airliner on the southwest side of Portland. Correct - all I did was type at the wee hours of the morning what was stated in Mr. H's book. SO if the interception took place South of Portland - what the hell was the pilot doing that surprised Norman Battaglia. Did the co - pilot think that Cooper was still on board and trying to make him jump or was he just being sure Cooper was gone. Was there a possibililty Cooper was still on board after the plane passed was South of Portland? "What is that guy changing courses for?" 45 degrees every 30 seconds? So what was the pilot doing? 3;30 AM I am miserable and trying to stay out of the hospital. If I go in for more surgery I will probably not ever come home. My skin has become hemoragic in the last few days along with the other problems. Definitely not a surgical candidate at this time and my condition is making life pretty miserable. At any rate I couldn't sleep & some things kept going on in my mind. The Tena's bar - I need for you guy to search back and find out if and WHEN they had a sign that might have been spelled incorrectly and PIN POINT the dates the other sign was up. THIS is VERY IMPORTANT to me[, because I KNOW I saw a sign with Tena's Bar on it or a picture of it. Now for the other thing that was keeping me awake. Remember they had chase planes, but all anyone ever seemed to talk about was the fighter chase planes that were too fast. There was a National Guard doing night missions and they contacted them asking them to tail the jet. It was a reserve T33. Norman Battaglia was in the jet trainers back seat as an instructor/pilot, They received orders after in flight to switch to Seattle Center. Mission was cancelled they wanted them to trail the 727. They turned toward Lake Oswego, putting it 3 miles beind Flight 305. At 10k and 11k Seattle Center kept telling the T33 to slow. After making radar contact Battaglia asked "WHAT IS THAT GUY CHANGING COURSES FOR?" He was referring to the 727 of course. Seattle reported the target aircraft, Flight 305 was changing courses 45 degrees every 30 seconds The T33 had to do S turns and had to throttle back to 135 knotts and fly with it landing gear and flaps down to try to maintain contact with the 727. They did abort the chase because of ICING. They never saw the 727 but at one point were about 3/4 of mile in trail. They had no communication due to UHF and VHF radio equipment. What happens when I do not sleep - my mind just does NOT stop, but sooner or later I won't be able to do what I do now. What about that do I not understand - how the hell could they track a plane making turns every 30 seconds. 45 Degree turns no less. WAS this EVER factored into the maps tracking the flight? This guy had radar contact but not radio contact. This is in Himmelsbachs book and I know he was stickler for details he never forgave the writer for 2 minor errors in the book. OK I will try to go back to bed and see what happens. I have so much to do and so little time to complete what I was assigned. It is important about when the Tena's bar sign was up! I know it was there - but when? It is bugging the hell out of me because I either saw a picture of it or I personally saw the sign. This is when I wish I had the phone number of the owners, but they probably don't remember the date at this time in their lives. I get mixed up on dates a lot here lately. I will be talking about 1973 and say 1983 - but the parties I talk to realize I am on a decline not only physically, but mentally. Also what did the sign say in 2001 when I was there with Himmelsbach. Mr. H even made a comment about the spelling - so maybe it read Tena's Bar in 2001. Lets face it I saw it - was it 2001 or 1979 or is there a picture with the sign reading Tena's Bar....that was made public at one point. My mind does not play tricks on me when it come to signs and finding places I have been as I did in 2010 on my expensive trip. Remember that I noted one sign in Washougal in 1979 on that trip with Duane - Ledbetter Road. Then when i was there with a undercover cop and his family in 2001 - I screamed Turn Turn Turn. They thought I had lost it, but it was one thing I made a strong mental note of in 1979 as it was NOT too far from there that Duane made the only remark he made about Cooper on that trip. I remembered thinking I should note where I am and read the sign and then over the yrs forgot it and in all of my descriptions trying to remember things pre 2001 - all it did took was my seeing the sign again...on the 2001 trip. The people with me can testify this is what happened...one is deceased but 2 are still alive and they are older than I am. We resolved this one time before and someone went to the County Records. There is a picture with the sign reading Tena's bar. Over the yrs it became Tina's bar because of an incorrect spelling on the sign. Somewhere in my massive files is a picture of the sign at Tena's bar in 1971. I thought it was an old new article or one of the books. Find a picture dated 1969 and the sign read Tena's bar. I thought there was one in Himmelsbachs book, but I did not find it by thumbing thur it. There is a picture and it reads Tena's Bar. Hee Hee - well at the rate it is going NO one will ever know! I spent 17 yrs with Weber and then 17 more yrs researching him and spent lots of money and used up what good yrs I had trying to understand & comprehend what I knew & what I learned & what other said. In the mean time other suspects have come and gone - DL Cooper, Kenny Christiansen, Petersen, Gossett - Melvin (the jury is still out on Vickie's dad), Strawmann & multiple others who made good suspects - I forget all the names. Even unlikely suspects have been suggested....plus one who was the first suspect. Hell, I even forgot his name....a news commentator was the one who promoted this suspect and even claimed the authorities showed up when they started filming a movie about him. My memory will not let me recall all of the names at this time - I just hold on to what I have and as time goes by I loose a little more memory regarding the research on Cooper & suspects. OK - you guys are on - The last few posting have been relative neutral. Discussions about things already discussed. Everyone wants a new subject to explore. I lay odds you DO not have a suspect at all. Prove me wrong! I won't attack and hopefully even Blevins will shut up and let you talk about your suspect. At this point I still suspect you guys are connected to Bull in some way. That man was a piece of work, but I never disclosed him in the thread. If he had come to this thread with "his new evidence and disclosures" he would have been eaten alive & made fun of by anyone ANTI Weber. I saved and printed all of the things he communicated to me....but, you could hear him BUILD his story about Weber from get go. I played with it off and on and fed him things (truths and untruths) - but, the things he claimed just went WAY over board! I let him self destruct. He claimed he went to the FBI - but, he had NOTHING to go to the FBI with. He claimed he interviewed individuals who were actively involved in the after math of the skyjacking. NO evidence at all - his story just grew and GREW and GREW!. He would take bait and tell a whopper about the bait. His nose got longer and longer with every communication. Well, OLD Jo has never seen any report other than what Tom put on his site. I have not even been able to read any of the thing you guys talk about regarding the transcripts unless it is sent to me or put in the thread. I have one flight report covered with multiple redaction. Is there even an unredacted report of ALL of the conversations going to and from. Why has the FBI NOT put out an unredacted version. Maybe Tena's bar was chosen because it meant something to the person planting the money. Your statements about the money being 10 to 12 ft above sea level seems a little high to me, but I was up in the parking lot in 1979 so my judgement of elevations would not be very perseptive from the large oaks at the parking area in 1979. Perhaps there had been rain fall. I know the sea level varies with the tides and the rain and the snow melts. It was between 10 & 12 when we am when we made that stop. Jo Replies: Not if it was planted....and ALL indications are the money was PLANTED. There are the 2 other locations - 1.one across from the PDX where he carried the shovel down to the water. 2. when he threw a paper bag in to the river at the Red Lion at the base of the OLD VANCOUVER iron bridge. There was nothing in Kayes report that indicated the money came from above the site....just that the money did NOT get there by NATURAL means. You seem to be stuck on this even though you have been corrected before. YOU push the ideal the money moved - it did NOT move - no way that money got to that point by natural means. AS for your stating the water level at the time of the money being buried had to be about 12 ft about sea level - and no more than 14 ft. YOU incidentally stated - "buried". You know Kayee states the money did NOT get there by natural means! There have been mulitple interpretations of what Kayee meant by that statement. "Impacted on the land" - do YOU have any idea what the packet would have done had it impacted on dry land. Evidently not. Why don't you go to the altitude that plane was at and drop a bag and some banded monies (fake). See where it goes....the bag would probably bust open and there would have been money all over the place. If it was in a satchel and Cooper had bound it to himself and went into the river...the test results would be way off. Perhaps you need for newbies to make a more accurate statement: It was basically found very close to where it impacted or was planted on dry land from the jump.

LANDON is also a new poster as of this DEC 2013. Two new posters - I for one am interested in what they have to say. Both NEW posters entered the DZ at just about the same time - the interest is probably more than co-incidental. Keep an open mind when you answer the questions they have and NOT make HYPED answers. BE objective with answers that are all inclusive of all theories and testing results - if they ask. I hope Grey Cop doesn't run them off or Georger. Georger can make some really informative postings when he is not bickering with someone. I wish for the New Yr. that you guys will work together for information and get out of the RUT you seem to stay in. Using up BAND width to re-post several conversations. Well, FLYJACK you are a new poster - how much of this thread have you read? IT has been NOTE that you and LANDON came to the thread about the same time. Have you read the explorations made in 2006 up until the current date? So WHAT brought you to the Thread and DZ? You were not a poster on this thread nor a member of DZ until a few days ago? The anniversary usually stirs some interest, but I get the indication your interests are not casual. Obviously you guys have a subject to present - CHUTE my word for Shoot! We need a new suspect but let me assure you if you haven't done your background on the suspect these guys will tear you apart...or help you put it together. Most of the contributors are NOT jumpers in this post - but they do loft here and do post when they feel like it. The FACT the DZ was composed of umpers and chute related is why I came to the DZ in 2006 asking for help. I am sure everyone here will welcome a NEW SUSPECT. georger Just ME! One theory about Tena's bar - and of course what I say is not theory, but only because I was with Weber in 1979 when he walked down to the beach alone - instructing me to STAY in the car. WHY Tena's bar - It was a place the BOYS used to go to - he may have used the word GUYS at that point. When he came back to the Car I got out and he pointed across the river telling me what was over there. It was at this point he told me he knew someone who used to live there...just remembered something - he mention something about low income housing...but he didn't use the word low income. Also remember he threw a paper bag into the Columbia from the Red Lion INN right at the base of the bridge. The paper bag he removed from the drivers side when he got back into the car at Tena's bar. He then put it on the floor board near right foot. I asked what was in the bag and he told me trash he was going to get rid of at the next stop. Well, he threw that bag in the river and not in the trash barrels (I was pro-active about littering). JUST too much for me to ignore...but NO ONE hears me. I am just a VOICE in the wilderness. Now you guys can discuss this anyway you prefer. I try to stay out of things lately because sitting at the computer is NOT good for me. I need to use my enerygy to help increase my endurance in everyday life - not sitting. Just MY two Cents worth - not that it counts....The trip in 1979 had many purposes and I wish HE HAD NEVER made me an UNKNOWING witness to any of this. I WISH I had never found out who DAN COOPER WAS. Ignorance is bliss. What I have stated above I will swear to in a court of law or on any document anyone wants. If the Dr. ok's it - use a drug (truth serum). This will NOT be done for a private industry, but at the request of the FBI or the Federal Government. The Goverment is NEVER going to require such a test - WONDER WHY. I keep telling you guys - go back to AWARE and the group who built the airstrips - the freedom of infomation needs to release the names of all employees - both private and federal.
