I have never allowed myself to read the books on the various subject written in the last few yrs. I have NOT read the book about KC or BD, but I am reading the Foreman's book at this time. I have reason to do so now. Recollections from my early notes and phone calls in the first yrs before I went public in 2000 gave me a reason to do so and because of the list I posted above. I decided it was time to explore other unlikely subjects and why they are subjects at all. I have not attempted to write a book and have relied on the collection of information regarding Weber's past and hoping to find proof DW was really who he said he was. I did NOT want to color my story with false information or suggestions that might create a sub-conscience memory of something that was hearsay or regarding other subjects. I did explore earlier subjects (Brown and Coffelt) because there was few resources for discovery purposes when I started my efforts in 1996. After finding the DZ - so many suspects and information surfaced and I was still standing still - so I decided WHY NOT! Needless to say research on KC was not needed as that one has been hashed over and over in the thread. The thread suggested suspects, but we usually ended up in another dead end. SO why NOT expose myself to other subjects who supposedly had Cooper connections? Maybe I should have read the book when it came out in 2008. I suggest to those of you who have NOT read the book to do so. It is a collection of research and memories of Barb Dayton written by his friends. I have not read the book in its entirety and had diss the Idea, but when I opened the book and view a few of the pictures and scanning areas - something GOT my attention. Things - I have discussed regarding the past of Weber....seemed to intermingle with this story. Since I never explored the subject Barb Dayton - I did NOT know the locations in his past and did NOT know he was heavily connected to Puyallup. I would learn this in a phone conversation and then was eager to read the book. It arrived today. I was finding his history a little boring and started to flip around and then I found a couple of things that stood out and said "Gottcha" I am now trying to read it from beginning to end. Things I told Mr. H and things I had NOT read anywhere in 1976 - started to echo back at me. At first I thought she had heard my story and borrowed this or that - but, that did NOT seem to be the case when other things started to become evident - things I had discussed only with Himmelsbach and Pasternac and others involved in my search in the very beginning. That was when I started to read line for line and page for page and using a highlighter. The print is hard for me to see so I am going to buy a page magnifier tomorrow - hope the drugstore has one. What did I read that got my attention? Backgrounds and places lived in and stories I had heard - but with far less wording - so it was from verbal conversations, but Cooper was not part of those conversations. I will leave the rest to your imagination and my own until I have finished the book. The history was a little confusing and wordy - get past that and have the personal interest I have and you start to hang on certain tidbits...especially if you know the history of Duane and his family. Now I know why I have been ACCUSED of having read the book. What this means - I don't know. Maybe a group of guys got together and agreed they would all claim they were Dan Cooper. Why is there unseemingly connections to the backgrounds of this man and others who have claimed to have been Cooper? Tell you when I finish the book! Read it with an open mind and your eyes wide open. Research the history of Weber in FL, GA, MS, AZ, CO, CA, WA, ID, NV, TX, AL, VA, GA, MS, & OH. I hope I didn't forget a location. These guys traveled the same road and you can connect the dots...was it just the times of the era? I do not know yet. Many of the locations do NOT have specific dates - so right now it is just a worth-wild-read. NOW, PLEASE Blevins do NOT NOW claim your subject has connections that parallel the subject of the book. YOU have already declared KC's background. All I know about Duane's is what he told me and what the family told me and the prison/arrest records. It has taken me 17yrs to try to understand his past and to unravel it, but with there being NO ancestrial tree of old friends of the family in OHIO and CA - this has been a road with a lot of boulders in it. Speaking of BOULDERS - I have to find that grave Yard of Boulders at the top of a very steep winding road. I know where it is - BUT why did JT deny its existence? Dear Lord, Please allow for a very good editor who can decipher this gobledegook. Amen GOOD GRIEF! What will be next? What a start to the New Year 2014! Jo AIN'T part of this - just a by-stander right now. Perhaps it will be revealed that Cooper was actually staged - you think? In 1979 I was told a lot of things and only recently started to make sense out of it all. I have done this by looking back and then digesting all of the different subjects presented over the yrs in and out of this thread from 1971 to 2014. There is a common thread, but you have to study each and every subject and some never presented publically. You have to study the Whys and Hows. Find more than ONE commonality with all of the subjects and maybe then this case can be solved. Start by listing the subjects and then the VALID reasons why that person could be Cooper. 1. Height 2. Age 3. Complexion Those are the 3 easy things and the rest is more complicated. 4. Knowledge of jumping a. training b. extent of training c. was a packer d. just casual connection e. covert actions f. ex-military (not necessary) 5. Communications and/or knowledge of area or both. 6. Prior relationships in area 7. Prior knowledge of area. 8. Connections between suspects 9. Unusual activity after Skyjack a. Spent lots of money b. Became non-existent c. Change of life style d. Confession or talk e. Relationships f. Background w/ Washington 10. Criminal background 11. Why WA and why N.W. Airlines 12. All of the above mean ZERO Conclusion This was a government sanctioned action thru the CIA & covered up. Anything leading to any suspect was & has been destroyed...if Cooper was a lone Skyjacker he probably died. But, where is his body & where is the evidence? NOT one piece of evidence in 42 yrs. Many of the known suspects have links in their history unknown to this thread. Why did the government go to such extent to erase these histories? Why are some of those histories suddenly being connected? No one expected computers to collect lots of unrelated data on to one site and in the archived files of Cooper Researchers. No one expected the un-expected.. Will this result in a conclusion as to who Cooper really was? This covers a large range of suspects, but when one starts to connect suspects the likely hood of a covert or secret operations starts to surface. HOW deeply did the government bury the secret? NOT DEEP ENOUGH! NO one ever predicted the day would come when so many Coopers researcher would converge into one place with the technology we now have. No one suspected so many books and articles would be written about mulitple suspects and some just regarding the subject itself. NO one ever thought D.B.Cooper would become a ICON and not just a Dirty Rotten Criminal. Did the Government or a lone skyjacker or small group think no one would ever find a clue that finally made the connections? Did Cooper ACTUALLY pull the ONLY unsolved SKYJACKING or was it an effort to regulate the AIR ways & make flying safer & less expensive? If it was it Backfired! Will they EVER admit it was a Planned Action? Hell, NO! I doubt there is even one living person who actually knows who or why Cooper existed. You can bet the Government nor the Airlines will ever disclose the truth. They will never admit our government has spent yrs of tax papers money to solve a crime - that was never an unsolved crime in the first place. But was it as above or one lone jumper who did not survive and if so - why was NO evidence ever discovered and why was there so many errors in the collection of data that was readily available in 1971? You'll Never Know If You Don't Know NOW!

This is an important read regarding all of the above postings! Over the yrs there was one man who told me that the records where turned over to NWA and as far as he thought they had the only copy. When they were released to the FBI the information had already been redacted by NWA. He knew of no other copy of these transactions. I do not remember all the details of the conversation...and realize I really did NOT know what they meant....but IT was the transactions you guys are speaking of. THis man was xxxxx xxxxx xxxxxx who was involved in the transmissions and/or trainee or supervisor. This goes back yrs ago and someone I was told to get in contact with. I hope I have the contact information written as there was no emails with this person and he spoke off the RECORD and that our conversation could never be repeated. FOR some reason the man felt I needed to know this. Since he is probably deceased - I feel I can tell this...I hope I can find the name, but there is so much of this crap and I just cannot go thru it all. My communications with this man was BEFORE 2002 (believe if my time memory is serving me anymore) and before I sold my home....therefore I can only hope I made notations in my old planners. I mentioned this before - but didn't realize it had not been finally made available....he said the only people who would have it was NWA. There was a change of command and many things just in my words went Poof! You guys I hope realize there is so much trapped inside of my brain and being the dumb broad I am - didn't realize the records you guys are looking for were NOT part of the file you had already obtained. I though all you geeks had obtained it all. Until NOW! There was something said about airtraffic controllers being brought in from other parts of the country (I want to say Atlanta) & they had that end of it. Northwest REQUESTED or TOOK them (the originals)....may have been the only copy or recording available. Wish I could remember enough of this to talk intelligently about this - but, I can't and I know you guys will say this is fabricated. BUT, I swear to you it is not....I didn't know what I was supposed to be trying to obtain from him...but, he knew. He spoke to me only because he knew who I was and told me he could loose his job if I mentioned our conversation. Yrs later I would call that number and ask for the man - and he was not longer there. I still do NOT know what I am talking about, but it is I believe what you guys are looking for. Nothing was ever made available other than the re-dacted information. I thought we dicussed this in the thread at one time! Poor Blevins in his post above is so wrong - I know what you guys are looking for and there WAS no copy of the un-redacted information made. What the man said was that evidently with a change of command at N.W. or by employees that they just destroyed these old files/or recordings not realizing an un-redacted version had never been made available. He thought it odd, but it was at the Demand of N.W. Later it seems that it may have been the insurance company that had to cover the financial loss for N.W....what ever - the original or originals were destroyed or at least never found by N.W. Forgive the trusion - this is just DUMB BROAD memory. I think perhaps if you go back to Sluggo days - it may have been discussed at that time. NO unredacted copies survived that anyone knows of. In retrospect has all the markings of an inside job, cover up before or after the fact and stupidity on the part of the N.W. Employees or the Insurance Company. The shift in airtraffic controllers regarding this is what go my attention - but, Hell I didn't even know what I was supposed to be looking for. Remember Duane had a friend who was an Air Traffic Controller who worked in WA in the 70's on a temporary lone during the time of the skyjacking! THAT was odd and that I had knowledge of this only because of a comment Duane made and I didn't realize it could have been about a skyjacking - I had little to no knowledge of the crime and not something I followed in the Newspapers. Repeating this post! Need some help on this subject! Come on we got Microwave towers and possibly equipment to rig a CB with something to receive those communications and those of a plane. It DID exist! Ham radios - come on guy I need some really technical information here - forget the computers! Think Canon City and find anyone still living who worked for Intermountain Communication. Do we have a skyjumper or poster out here who lived in CANON CITY, CO in 1972 or worked with Intermountian Communications at any time and in any capacity. Otterly Ridiculous! Since I am trying to be very serious here about recent information that needs the input of REAL investgators & skyjumpers who are familiar w/ communication technology of the 70's, I am getting Otterly disgusted. WHERE is 377? Older jumpers & those with familiar with Communication systems used by Intermountain Communications headed up by Richard "Paperlegs" Peterson. Start up was in 1962 and disbanded - Oh heck I forgot the yr but in the 70's. They started training in Canon City around 1972 - Duane had taken me there and told me about the operation - he did NOT mention he had been in prison there. We made other stops on this same trip. I do NOT concentrate my posting on DW much anymore - just things I hope others will contribute to. I want to tall about Microwave Communication Towers in the 70's and it has been explained to me the communication we received on the CB somewhere between Laramie to Rawlins, Wym was probably a Microwave tower. The plane communication to the CAR that you guys said was impossible - was possible. Now I find the 3 Dams on the Lewis river had microwave communications and Duane had mentioned this on the trip.I did not understand how the Communications being from a Microwave tower could be received by a CB. Now I know they can Remember the CB Duane had was very sophiscated as it had to be worked on after we moved to FL. One day I had to stop to make a collection a that CB shop and reminded him he has worked on my husband's CB. The man told me he could not understand why Duane needed a system like that. I didn't understand what he was talking about - NOW I know Duane's CB had been modified to receive microwave signals. I still do NOT understand how they are different. I have forgotten the discussion details as I said I didn't understand them....not until someone recently explained to me this was possible. After coming to this thread I went back to the shop, but the shop was closed and out of business. I had the route the shop was on around 1991. Duane was alive and he had disposed of the CB to get a CELL PAC. Can someone please explain to me how a CB can be modified to work on Microwave lenths and with the towers and what modification would look like. CB's are non existent now - and I know no one to ask. Curious! The 3 towers plus others were operational in 1971. Of course this means there would have to have been more than on person - right or is it possible with only one person? I briefly touched on this less than a yr ago, but needed more proof. Why don't you check it out yourself. Try the criminal records out of Spokane prior to 1950. Then make a trip to Spokane and dig into the archived articles. The FBI was ALREADY aware of it - but never acknowledged it in the information provided on Weber. I described it as a satchel with a shoulder strap - but a Dr's Bag might clear up the description for others who had NO idea what I was talking about. A bag describe to Mr. Himmelsbach who claimed the money was in the whitish bank bag. YEA! There was a whitish bank bag, but it was inside of the Satchel. The FBI deliberately concealed this and was still concealing it in 1996 when I first spoke to Mr. Himmelsbach! I can prove what I have said as it is my early records and in my conversation with the FBI and the Co-pilot. Well, I am not writing a book. I am in this thread to find truths not fiction or made up things. Some of the things the thread has found have been helpful, but I am not using it to write a book or to proclaimed I have solved the case. Much of the information about certain yrs is too skimpy and the criminal records regarding those yrs just do NOT jive....what I will find in the end I do NOT know. BUT, I have to see more than what has been presented, such as 1962 to 1966! The 2 yrs after he was released from Canon are TOO vague. The yrs 1945 to 1949 are also too vague. He is here and he is not here. In 1996 when I first went public the details of these records still existed - now it is just a summary and a couple of the summaries made no sense at all. I have to put Weber on the plane and I have NOT been able to do that! I can put him in a chute, but that is not enough. Now I have done something NO one thought I could ever do and it will not prove he was Cooper, because it does NOT put him on the plane. I have traced records that DO put him in WA during certain yrs and in family relations in WA. Still waiting for the search of birth records and marriage records in WA and some out of CA. All this does is link WEBER with close contacts in WA, but it does not put him on the plane. I am at the mercy of others to research records with one family not wanting to be involved. NONE of it makes him Cooper, but it does make him closely connected to others who have supposedly been involved. Recent discover is the Microwave communications from the 3 large Dam's all in place before Cooper made his jump. Using the Mircowave signals from those tower was POSSIBLE with the right kind of communication systems that could be added to CB. Hey, you guys forgot all about that one. For someone the FBI claimed spent no time in WA. Weber was very astute about the Mircowave lenghts used for the Towers at the Dams. NO way Weber knew the stuff he knew if he had NOT spent LOTS of time in WA or have been schooled on all of the things he showed me and talked to me about. Weber was part of something that went on in Wa. If he was NOT Cooper he sure as hell happened to have 1st hand knowledge of many of those who have been mentioned over the yrs and those connections were prior to 1979, when we made our trip to WA.... This is what drives me forward! That drive is starting to pay-off! I am NOT the only one working on this - you guys have NO idea what is going on in the back ground. My health is getting in the way and right now I have of recent been telling you vaguely what I am ONTO! None of it makes him Cooper, but it sure is starting to sound like he WAS involved in the planning or knew someone who was. Blevins get some HELP. Your repetive declarations are NOT necessary. We have heard this same thing over and over. Instead of doing the repetions - go out there and get PROOF. If you think Geestman and the other lied or if you believe them - then LET them speak for themselve. Let them defend themselves. We have never heard their story through the eyes of the FBI or anyone but you. We are supposed to take writers word that everything was the truth. The only truth is you wanted to write a book and you didn't CARE who you mauvered or hurt to tell your story - your way! Writing a story about Cooper was you way of seeking immortality. It doesn't work that way when REAL people are involved. Perhaps you should have wrote a fictional book then you wouldn't be called on the carpet. Please RECITE no more of your "proof". The public wants to hear THEIR side - the side of those you interviewed - not what you manuvered them in to saying or what you claim they said. You took senior older than me and planted things. If what you said was true - WHY didn't they come forward after the new article about K.C. by Geoffry Gray? I will tell you why - because there was NO story other than they thought they knew who Cooper was and not that it was KC. You presented a way for them to find their immortality by making claimes about a dead man. If you thought and knew KC - why not have left it up to the FBI to contact them. You could have gone out and interviewed them with the pretense of a book and then have turned it ALL OVER to the FBI and to other authorities. Instead you did otherwise. DO NOT come BACK with all of your quotes - he said or she said. You set yourself up as being the one to make decisions about the truthfulness & used your interpretation of what they were telling....I call it senior exploitation. When they started to tell you things - why didn't you just say - WE NEED TO TALK TO THE FBI about this. INSTEAD you just wrote a book. You do NOTHING but brag about yourself and you credentials. THis book was your key to making yourself known - but you didn't do it the right way. What is the RIGHT WAY - have taken all of your notes and recording to the FBI before you wrote a book - exploiting these seniors. I will believe that conversation came down they way it is stated WHEN I hear the recording. Number one I do NOT know were hwy 1 or 2 are...and I assure you that the co-pilot knew I was talking about EAST of the Interstate & Eastward from the route mapped on the thread. I haven't read your book, Blevins and NOW I know I do not want to. WHAT I do want is PROOF - a copy of the recording this supposed conversation is drafted from. Porteous didn't know my location in 2010 - other than what was in the news, but THE co-pilot did KNOW my location and prior to 2010! He was aware of the address change in 2002 and the new phone number. SO WHAT gives? Blevins you have misused this information the same way you humiliated Geestman and others. NOW I know you do NOT tell truths! You FLOWER your story for the public! NOW I know why you did NOT want me to talk to Geestman the woman who rode horses standing. NOW I KNOW. Every question asked of the co-pilot was a leading question providing the answer you sought for only one purpose....to build a story. Dead ON! Keeping on keeping one. Duane and another subject lived in Huntington Beach and Long Island it the late 40's They both had connections to Puyallup and Pomerory Duane claimed to have know the other man and the other man worked along side anonther suspect N. of Seattle. In fact this one susbject is the person Duane probably went to see for that long afternoon catching up on old times....in 1979, Just a bunch of BOY's playing games? Never forget who this man is or at least what he looked like. I have a reason to repost this pic so you all be good. Try to post pic of Ma and Pa Weber and some of you who live int the Puyallup area need to look REAL close. Pull old pictures of visitors to the area - visitors to the home of Stanley Gilliam . Where did Stanley Gillimam and Eunicie L Barth Gilliam know this other couple. Fred Barth and one of the other Barth boys also whet to Wa to live and thrive. One of the Barth guys the age of Duane's father - worked with they young men from McNeil - programs that taught them a trade and kept the young 1st offender out of the prison system in 1945 and for many yrs before that. You ARE aware we put the dog back in the ground because he had been wrapped in plastic and in a heavy duty high impact storage crate. The smell after 7 yrs was horrible. We did NOT examine the remains as he was still entact....I was looking for a pill bottle. Duane took one to the garage and wanted to be alone with Symba. He obviously prepared him for burial. When I asked him what he had - his reply was - "something I want to put with Symba". He didn't tell me what it was, but when the remains were opened the smell was so bad - there was NOT much probing around. I could not afford to have him picked up for an examination of the box and remains...so we put him back in the ground. What religion had this cat? Jewish? Methodist? Buddhist?
