In 1979 Rackstraw was 35 yrs old at the time of his arrest. That would have made Rackstraw about 28 yrs old in 1971. That age just doesn't work. Not one witness put Cooper in under thirty. This was obviously why he was released and no publicity was given to the subject. I will say viewing the photo that he appears to be older than 35 in that 1979 photo. He was a Vietam Veteran or fall-out veteran. His tour dates are 69-70 - perhaps he was wounded and discharged. I may of course not have the records on the right Rackstraw. There is also a Robert Wesley Rackstraw out of Nevada and owner of Stealth Constuction - a son is also listed with the company. If any of you guys live in the Reno area, you might want to check on this. In my opinion Rackstraw could not be Cooper, but then I am also bias because of Duane's past and the many things he disclosed over the yrs. I was recently contacted and as far as I am concerned SCAMMED by a couple of guys from N.Y.(so they said). I was told they had a suspect and gave them a lot of information I worked very hard for - they promised me a photo of their suspect, but I never got it. Sound familiar - it did to me when I gave them information and the results. One of them supposedly contacted Shaffner, but when I tried to contact her the person who answered claimed she never heard of her. I do believe I was talking to Florence....but I didn't push the issue. I really thought I had found her. If any one out there knows exactly where she is please private email me that Information. I followed up on some information I received from you guys at DZ. That information gave me her husbands name, his death, her son and daughters name --- I still think I was talking to her. The bag was in 1991 or 92 - yrs before he died. It was a bank bag and I wasn't supposed to see it. I do not believe I have disclosed what was written on it. He gave me some kind of answer for it --- it just didn't mean anything to me --- I now know they didn't use that kind of bank bag in the early 90's. The ticket stub was a ticket (like a parking ticket) that said SEA-TAC on it. I asked what Sea-Tac was He said it was trash to throw it in the basket. Later, curiosity got to me and I went back to look for it and it was GONE. Still I did not give it anymore thought. Remember that I didn't know what SEA-TAC meant.. For some reason I was curious, but don't remember why. The airline ticket - that was in 1994 the yr before he died in some old income tax files I had to clean out. He said it was just an old ticket and used to mean something, but didn't anymore. I had a throw away pile and a keep pile. He would later ask me what I did with that old ticket and I went through the throw away pile. I then told him it must be in the file box in his closet. This same ticket would show up again in his sock drawer and I mentioned it and then it disappeared. He had fractured his leg and was incapcitated - but he managed to hide it one more time while I was at work. He had been acting real strange not wanting me to put his clothes away or clean his room during that time. This is the OLDEST unsolved skyjacking and MOST of the files are not available to the FOIA or the public . Ever wonder why? Other than they are so massive that no one knows how to make them public.

It was NOT Himmelsbach's book, but a fictional book base only in part on the skyjacking. Written by Max Gunther. This was the only book in the library about Cooper. I had told a friend of mine about the things Duane said in the hospital and the false identifcation and other paper that had been returned to me after I sold his van. Duane had been dead over one yr. This friend ask me if I ever thought Duane might be Cooper. I ask who that was and then I told him that Duane had a past and was very secretive. At that time I knew little about Cooper. I checked that book out and when I read it (remember part fiction and part fact) it was May 24 1996 and I was on the phone to the FBI. I would not see or read Himmelsbach's book until several months later. f you want to dispute the actual FBI files then go ahead. That only serves to confuse the reader. Duane's criminal records and his prison profiles are reliable. When you go get a drivers license they never measure you. Please do not confuse Himmelsbach's book with Gunthers. He had a slanted forehead which is what the artist in all cases has tried to depict - this remark from the artist himself who did the composites.

I have no enemys I am aware of and I am a very forgiving person. I have not called you names - I am referring to the multiple posts that are total jibberish by who ever is making them. Unfortunately your are not very concise - if you fall into that category then that is your own fault. As for the "avitar" the pictures to the left of my posts that picture of Duane is with real glasses taken during the first few yrs I knew him when "Cooper" had never been mentioned. I am willing to let by gones be by-gones - --if you will STOP attacking every word I say. I have enjoyed this forum. but not the bantering and useless information that is happening at this time. I am NOT the one with a book deal - maybe something else is stewing in the pot - who knows! It is someone else out there I am referring to who claims a Book is coming out.

There is also another site claiming that someone in New York has Cooper. The postings there also are very familiar. I have not been looking on the internet and it is amazing what has happened out there. So the trolls started in on me at on 101 - a writing forum. Then to Unsolved Mysteries and then to Drop Zone. The internet used to be a useful tool, but now these people posing as someone else - has made it not much use for a real investigation. If the trolls are real people with genuine interest and a genuine suspects then there is no reason not to work with other people who also have the same interest - you might find connections. There is also a Private Investigator out of N.Y claiming to have Cooper. This has turned into a real farce. In 1996 I came forward with my husbands confess to the FBI and went public in 2000. At that time there was virtually nothing on the web about Cooper....now it is covered up. I only came here tonight to let all of you know what I have found. If you are like me and a genuine person you only go to very reputable site and sites that you feel might be able to assist you. Sorta sounds like someone is trying to create an interest in Cooper to sell a book - another I wannabe. Someone else did this about 4 yrs ago and the book didn't make it - a few people got suckered into the book - it was a very dirty book. Yea, I got suckered. Don't waste your money.
