You are not understanding the post. The new article find and the intake photo for Canon SHOW a Duane that My Daughter and I did NOT know. The out take photo in 1962 - all smiles and with what appears to be nose without a big hump in it - is the Duane we remember. Back in the 60's they could take the hump out but that is all they did. The bulb part of the nose (the end of it) would still be as it was. Then as a person ages that bulb gets larger. Also if one wears glasses - the nose becomes narrow in at the contact point area. I know what I am trying to say, but do not know how to explain it. Perhaps I need to find an older retired Plastic surgeon who did such nose jobs in the 60's and find out if he followed any of this patients through the yrs. Duane may even have had a problem with his nose - like breathing and maybe his nose was broken in the prison system...hence repair to try to make him think more of himself or to help with his self-esteem. I don't know - I just know there was a change in that darn nose. The pictures I have of Duane DO NOT show a obviously big hump that seems so obvious in the 1957 news article and the 1960 intake photo. He did NOT have a little nose and sometimes it was just the angle of the camera. All I can say is I have a problem with the nose in the early pictures compared to the man I was married to for 17 yrs. Perhaps it is just the photography and an oily and shiny nose in those 2 pictures. The profile of that same Canon intake does NOT show a nose out of proportion to his chin line and other featers. 33 yrs of age - my skin was oily and shiny - Maybe that is all it was - the shine and the angle making the nose appear exagerated. Lighting that was directly down on a subject with a shiny nose - I don't know - you photographers figure this out. The hair I know all about. Duane and I both had curly hair, but only in hot humid climates. My hair in WA was straight even thought it rained part of the time. Duane's hair in cold dry climates like in CO was straight and more so with grooming gel. I wear my own hair staight back, but I can part it - I don't like it parted. Duane didn't like to part his hair, but he did part it on occassion when the weather permitted. Just as I do. In CO my hair was silky enough that I did sweep it to the side for special occassions. Also my hair is wavy the way Duane's was - but in cold dry climates I have to actually set my hair to get the waves and curls. Also back in the days of my 40's when I started having enough gray I used a dye to cover up the gray. For several wks after the initial treatment My hair was shiny and would do anything I wanted it to do. I have a picture of Duane taken with a polaroid in 1968 and the hair color was salt and pepper. Then the photo dated 1971 in which his wife told me she dyed his hair for him - there is NO gray and the hair is smoother. No witness has stated that the hair was straight - just parted on the side. If you examine the composites very closely and talk to an artist of 1971 - ask them what you are looking at? You might be surprised to hear the answer. Duane looked happy in the release photo, but not happy in the St. Pete photo nor his admission to Canon. That release photo is more of the man I knew and he looked more like the man I knew. I do not believe attitude can change a persons appearance that much do you? I still believe Duane did NOT think he would survive the jump and perhaps he thought he would be arrested or killed while the plane was on the ground. This would be an assumption from the profile you are contending he protrayed. So what say you? Cooper was giddy and child like when the money arrived. Did adrenalin give him the rush he needed to make the jump? Was he thinking Oh What the Hell! Even my daughter has noticed the nose - she nor I never remember his nose being as prominent as it was in the Canon City intake photo and in that picture in the St. Pete story. The guy she and I knew looked like the out take photo - which I will attach to this post. The little twisp of hair is gone and the nose is very normal. Then a second picture of Duane in a plaid brown gray suit. When she saw this post she asked me "What does he have on under that jacket." That was NOT all Duane Weber under that jacket! Georger you are acting ridiculous. Take time to go back and read what is being said before you respond in that manner. Everyone here knows you are from the MidWest and connected to a University in that area. Perhaps you should delete your post and/or apologize to him. I do believe you need to state your credentials if you make claims that require more knowledge about specific subjects...and you definitely need to explain who WE are. I know you are NOT a urologist and you are not in the medical field. I don't care how smart you think you are - don't go telling me about Polycistic kidney disease unless you are a urololgist and one who was in practice in 1971 and again in 1995...every case is different and you CANNOT put each patient into ONE category. If you go back into the thread you will find I have questioned his interest and knowledge of certain subjects previously as to exactly what his involvment is. You live in the mid-west and you have an interest in Astrology and per your own posting are a specialist who has studied and analyzed the money. As for the money - I do dispute most of the "stuff" you made claim to a LONG time ago. If you analyzed the money found - you KNOW that money was in the water less than a yr. just as the Palmer report stated. Until I told about my trip with Duane in 1979 - NO one had ever put that money in the river in the correct time frame (why the Palmer report was kept secret). Question yourself - how does Jo Weber know what the Palmer report claimed? Did some agent slip up? How could she know this? I also know I was the only person to put that money in the river in the correct time frame...and I did that in 1996, a long time before anyone else did. When the writers where working on Coffelt - they tried to explain the money - but they had the wrong time frame. The Palmer report had long been buried until I came along - why do you think Duane was even looked at as a suspect? I told the FBI when that money got into the river. This was all explained to the FBI and Mr. H. when I called them in 1996. I told the story about the paper bag being thrown in the river over and over and over for over 14 yrs...in May it will be 15 yrs. I told about Duane turning in his resignation and leaving CO when the money was found in Feb of 1980 He had a good job and my daughter was going to graduate in June of that yr. - yet, as soon as the news was out about the money find he wanted to go back East and he needed to go fast. I would remain in CO with my daughter until June and then he came back to help us move. By the way his resignation was dated the day after the article appeared in the Newspapers in Denver about the money find. I was unaware of this until someone else took note of it while looking over some of the files. Sheer coincidence - RIGHT! Now Blevins perhaps you understand why I will not be quiet - I want answers and not conjecture. Since I went public all hell let loose regarding Cooper - all because I would NOT just go away. I will not stand down from what I believe to be the truth until it is proven to me Duane was not Cooper. NO ONE can take away what he told me and what I held in my own hands and saw with my own eyes. Remember Duane did have one good kidney in 1971 - and you can live a long time on one kidney....this has been proven over the yrs with the kidney transplants. The problem back in 1971 is they thought progression would be equal in both kidneys which has been proven not to be accurate. Even when he was put on diaylsis he had one that was only pumping fluid due to the disease, but the other still had some function. Only in those last 5 yrs of his life did he need the machine - and he was only on the machine 2 times a wk. Others are on the machine 3 times a wk. Do you know a soul who depends on a kidney machine to stay alive and if they have been on it for 5 yrs? Do you have any idea what the late stage disease does to the body? I don't think you have a clue. You are just upset about the other things that are going on at this time - and you have to play YOUR insulting intellect CARD when all else fails. Why don't you chill out and be patient? Maybe, because you have a strong motive to disprove Duane was Cooper or had anything to do with the incident. I had no knowledge of the trip he made other than a charge on our credit card that we eventually paid for - even after I had it removed 2 times. I would not know about his absense during the time of this plane ticket because he arranged to go to Tallahassee with his friend who managed the set-up for 2 days before Duane returned on a Sat. This friend later would tell me about this disappearance which coincided with the purchase of the airline ticket out of Tallahasse. A week or so later (in 1990) this friend would see Duane counting out a large amount of money...in 100's but, thought I was aware of it and that Duane also kept his money in a personal vault as he himself did. The friend would not tell me about this until - 1996 after I contacted him about what Duane had told me and told him about the "DAN COOPER thing" Duane had talked about in the hospital in 1995. This was BEFORE I contacted the FBI. Jim was a good friend to both Duane and myself - he was baffled, but we did put the time table together with what he knew and what I knew. Remember that in 1990 is when I saw the bag and the stub and the pictures that where in that magazine - but 4 yrs prior to the magazine being published that was in the safety deposit box I found in 1995. I would not see the airline ticket until Jan or Feb of 1994. Most of you will remember that story as he had fractured his leg and I was cleaning out a 1990 file box that needed to be taken care of since his health was failing. It would be 15 yrs later before he would tell me he was Dan Cooper...he didn't use D.B. 3. Duane wasn't researching anything, but checking up on something the EX had told him. She thought he had already died when he contacted her to tell her in 1990 to inform her about the diaylsis - he made the call on the shop phone. See I haven't told everything I know. 4. Then shortly after that - the bag and the stub show up. Then the Ticket. Sure went pretty far to stage this - right? Remember I am talking 1990 and he didn't confess until 1995. What you are laying claim to has no credence! Duane Weber was able to keep secrets - explain how he kept his past from me for all of those yrs. I think your post was in very bad taste! He said "crook" and they weren't old ladies (where in the article does it say old ladies)? The officers also refer to him as Smooth Talking Con Man. There is no way I could describe him in any other manner than I have. I never asked about his past other than what he volunteered - he only lied to me by omission or made it sound as if he was talking about someone he used to know. What I find sad is that until 1968 Duane Weber had spent most of his life in one prison or another and on the run when he wasn't in prison. He came from a family who excelled - he felt like the underdog. I am not defending the fact that he was an ex-con, but that there were NO programs in place to help a young man with problems in the 40's. Let me tell you a sadder story. People like you who have never been where Weber was have NO right to condem his actions until you have walked in his shoes. For one moment put yourself back in the 40's. There is a war and everyone else is doing their part, but you failed to be all you could be...even though you were so eager to do your part you had your mother falsify your birth certificate. Then you are out for a few months and somehow figure out how to get yourself in the Army. We still do not know where he was - between Camp Siebert and San Franciso. He runs away from the problem in San Franciso, but is located very quickly in Ohio and sent back to Ca where he was sentenced to McNeil in WA. He disappears off the map from 1945 to 1949. Then he is sentenced to San Quentin and Folsum from 1949 until 1957. Obviously he immediately per the article took off for St. Peterburg. (By the way something none of you know he did have a relative in the St.Pete area, who was connected to big money and famous people). At any rate he ends up in Co in Canon City Prison and out in 1962 - but he obtains another ID of John Collins which he would live under until 1968. He would spend 2 of those yrs in prison under that name. This man until that time had spent his life in prison or on the run - and it didn't stop there. In 1968 the FBI came looking for him again - most assuredly they found him, but didn't send him back to prison (no one has ever provided the papers on that one, nor given me an explanation). Ends up in N.Orleans on the run again, but this time with a wife and 4 kids. Something bad happened in N.Oleans - he is angry and hurt (his past has harmed someone he really cared about and something I will never discuss). Now he heads to Atlanta, but he is still doing BAD things to provide for the wife and her kids - but for the first time is is responsible for someone besides himself. Needless to say the bad guy in him took over especially after the diagnosis he received in 1971 (I have never been able to confirm the date, but believe it to be early 1971). He realizes his life has been about nothing and he will be at the mercy of the state or county for medical treatment. He doesn't know what to do - he had done pretty good selling insurance under the name of John Collins for 2 yrs - which is what he was doing in Atlanta under the name of Duane Weber. His income in 1971 very very low. He is looks back over his life knowing he has NEVER accomplished anything in his life. His entire adulthood had been spent in prisons and on the run. If you consider the mental state he must have been in at that time - you might understand that he conceived doing the "Big One" which had been talked about in Jefferson and Canon. My research shows the prisoners did sit around in Jefferson and talk about doing this very crime. Don't forget the individuals I met who had known him as John Collins - were very dangerous men. During the yrs as John Collins - I do know that he was connected with individuals who were connected with some very bad things. He warned me to NEVER be alone with one certain individual - just told me he was a DANGEROUS Man. From the things I found in WA and OR, I believe he had at least a 2 or 3 good yrs there living and working under another name. There was Mattie who became a surrogate mother and the guys that became his family. Think about this before you condem the "boy" he was in the 40's...he had never had a normal life. Those 2 or 3 yrs were the only time in his life he had felt joy and happiness and freedom. After all of the things I discovered in OR and WA - I firmly believe he was commiting the big one and perhaps it was a death wish. If he was sad it was because he was looking at the possiblity that his life was over - that he never really had a life. OR and WA were the only happiness he had ever known...this was so obvious if you could have seen his face during that trip...and the smiles the memories gave him. If he wasn't the one in that plane he knew who was. If any of you have ever noted - Duane's nose was different upon being dismissed from Canon City. The before and after look like two different people. I was never allowed to see the Jefferson photos.... I find it difficult to believe that I could have been taken in by his charm and demeanor as so many women in the past have been - but, he didn't steal from me and the man I knew for 17 yrs was kind and loving. Like anyone else he had his moments. He worked hard and as a team selling insurance we made very good money with heavy renewals. We bought and sold 2 homes and made a profit. He was a hard worker around the house and the yard. I have told about his moments of weakness in 1981 approx when I caught him doing something I could not live with. I told him to take me home and I started packing boxes and called about a u-haul truck. That night he got down on his knees and promised me he would never do anything like that again and begged me to stay. I did stay and if he was a bad boy after that - he managed to keep it for me for the next 14 yrs. Until I am proven wrong I still maintain he was Cooper and that he survived. If he was not Cooper he sure as hell knew who was - otherwise I would never have seen the physical evidence I held in my own hands in those 5 yrs prior to this confession. The dumb blonde in me just had no idea who Dan Cooper was. If you Georger, believe these yrs have been sad and a waste of the time of others then you are also calling me a liar. The truth is NEVER a waste of time. This much I will admit - I am thankful my parents did not live to see this and to know I spent that many yrs with an ex-con is humilitating and embarassing, but it did happen. If I had known I would have been gone faster than a bolt of lightning. I did find out about Mo in 1990 , but by that time there was 12 yrs invested in the marriage and he had already started diaylsis - I could not walk away at that time. I am more humane than that. I just did not ask him question - only what he did tell me.

That was the highlight of the night. Guess he had enough experience to pass himself off as a peace officer - I don't even know what a peace Officer is. What all of this information did re-inforce is that no one knows of Duane L. Weber's where-about in those dates after McNeil and before 1949. If he was wanted he was hiding and he did a pretty good job of hiding himself or thru the efforts of the family friends. I have someone in WA and OR who made a trip today to check on something. I have a feeling a woman called Mattie may have became Duane's surrogate mother. When Duane was pointing out the places in OR and CO - you could tell these where GOOD times and not bad times. I now have the feeling that the time he spent in WA and OR may have been the only character building exposure he had ever had... and why it made him smile like a boy full of happiness. Perhaps he felt what I felt when I was out there - I didn't want to come home. The people there are so down to earth and they are good unpretentious people. I fell in love with OR and WA. I actually feel sorry for Duane and the life he led and yet I resent him for the life he led. I do not know any other way to word that. I resent that he was a dirty rotten criminal (using Himmelsbachs words), but seeing him under arrest and in a newpaper article is different than seeing this man in a prison file. It made me physically sick and think about how lucky I was that I didn't become one of his victim or that he didn't steal from my family. What changed this man from the dark side to the good side. I know the ex from the 60's thought the sun rose and shined with him, but the one in the early 70's had nothing but BAD words for Duane. What happen to this man who could be so gentle with a dog and be so boyish about things. Why did he change his life or was I that blind - did I remind him of Mattie - the woman he thought of as a mother? Why didn't he ever say anything about his real mom? Was this because he inherited polycystic kidneys from her? Where his parent to stern? What happened to the boy? I think what you guys have done is good - I have seen a part of Duane I didn't know, but it only enforces my efforts. Now I KNOW what my goal will be - remember that I have always said I didn't want to benefit from any of this financially and I wanted some kind of program for excons - all of this just reinforces that goal. Duane was salvagable and what he did with the rest of his life proved this. This man had spent most of his life in prisons - and maybe his early yrs with very stern parents. Perhaps why the yrs in OR and WA made him smile...they were happy times - good times with people who did not slap him in the face everytime he made a mistake. I am choking up and have to go. What made this boy be bad? Why did he choose me? Why did he tell me who he was? Why! Why? I have a feeling all of this has something to do with the "Grudge" and why he chose WA and OR to commit suicide. He didn't have grudge - he was going to die in the only place he had ever found happiness. He didn't care about the money - he was going HOME to die. He just did not plan on surviving. Then is when he had to fight for life - if he got caught he would never be free during his life span. The FBI and everyone else missed the motive all of these yrs. and then his motivation not to get caught - Tina did a good job. Cannot figure out the 1949 arrest and then sent back to Ohio from where he escaped. I have a letter the state wrote to his mother - dated Jan 8 1945 stating her son was in custody in Rockford, Ill. and where advised that Duane had left the San Francisco area with out permission...he was sent back to CA and sentence to McNeil within 10 days. In Feb he is supposedly in McNeil, but this is when family member or friends of the family intervened arranging for him to go into a program. He is sentence in CA to SanQuentin in August of 1951 and released in 1957 in CA. Someone fill me in on 1945 (released to a work program in 1945 but officially a prisoner until 1946 in McNeil) to 1949. You guys couldn't have come up with this at a better time - I have a long medical test tomorrow so I don't need to go all balistic. I have never seen this article before and is it real or one of those things someone has printed up for fun? July 29, 1957 - if he really was arrested at Treasure Island - why wasn't he sent to prison in Florida? How did he end up in Canon City in 1960. 1960 he is sent to Canon City and I have the picture of that incarceration - both before and after. The after didn't look much like the guy who was released. I also have the records from Canon. No place does it mention an arrest in FL nor an incarceration in FL. He was released from Folsom on March 18, 1957 and on paroled until May 5 1959 in the state of CA Then he is convicted in Colorado on Sept 9, 1960 and paroled on June 16 1962 - he had passed to them from El Paso County. So what happened? He is released on parole on March 18, 1957 from Folsum and then in July of the same yr he is in FL. He would have been in violation of parole in CA. which did not expire until May of 1959. The records I have do not show any FL arrests or convictions.... other than a DUI when he was arrested in Jacksonville, Fl around 1977 - he was also in possession of pistol on that arrest. News Flash! Blevins might need to shut the presses down - a lot is going on behind the scenes as we speak. Things are esculating fast on this end...I really cannot say what part I have played in this, but it is happening...FAST. My trip to WA and to OR has put someone else on a fast track and it is not me. I have made phone calls and reached some individuals I interviewed and some I did not get the chance to visit with. Things esculated so much in the last 3 days - I simply cannot keep up with it. The areas I visited in OR and WA - only knew I was there to retrace my husband's history in the area...mostly I never mentioned Cooper, because - I did NOT want the media or others in my face. There was a handful of individuals I did explain the WHY to, because they were so helpful and generous about information they provided to an old woman simply trying to track the background of a husband who had deceased. Currently the best information came out of the Goldendale, Rufus, Biggs and The Dalles regarding the past of Weber. My time was limited to 15 days, but when I had to come home - I didn't want to come home, but I was running out of money. I was buying cell minutes over the phone...and burning them. It is what has happened since I got home - it has been OMG all over the place. I placed several calls back to those I had spoke with and others I could not when I was there. As we speak interviews are taking place on my behalf....I didn't know about this until 2 hours ago. What has happened? One piece of information led to another and then to another and to another - Names and places and faces and photos...Duane had a very interesting past in the WA and OR area. When names started to POP up they were names he had mentioned and then the big BINGO was when one connection imploded and made connections with other things...this has been non-stop! I threw a list of names out there several posts ago...and it might do some of you serious Cooper searchers to review that list of names. You know the plane that departed out of a airport near Amboy at about the right time was investigated...but, the FBI said it was BUSINESS people and I had often wonder who was doing business on Thanksgiving eve. What if the names of those individuals where connected to Weber's past or that of another suspect? I say this in gest or speculation. At this point I will believe almost anything I am told...because I want to see this end before my days on this earth come to an end. I keep trying to put a lid on my emotions and what I say, but with all I am learning it is VERY difficult. Putting Duane in WA won't put him on that plane, but associations with other subjects may inadvertantly do this. I really do not know what is being done right now I am posting because I can't hold my breath all afternoon. The findings just keep pouring in - and it is NOT me seeing these things. One individual I got in contact with after I got home put me in touch with another and it just kept going like stacked dominos. Suddenly these people where creating more dominos of their own and the excitement has been building...I was just a woman trying to find the past of her spouse in a small area - showing pictures of him in his Navy uniform and the family pictures and the 2 photos of him as he may have looked in his 20's. Finding families he knew happened after I got home - then is when everything started to esculate so fast. Keep Quiet! I can remember the days when I kept quiet and accepted what I was told - the 60's homemaker syndrome. NO! NOT ANYMORE! I turned over everything I knew and had to the FBI and Mr. Himmelsbach in 1996 - NO one did anything that was productive. Mr. H did what he could, but he had retired in 1980...and he was no longer in the FBI loop. Do I have GUTS? Not really, but I have convictions and I had the determination to do all in my power before I die, to finish what I started - regardless of the outcome. When I got off that plane and set foot onto OR soil (pavement) - I doubted myself, but within the next 15 days (I was only supposed to be there for 7 days) my convictions became more deeply rooted. I was being guided by not only my memory, but by GOD. Before I got on the plane to return home - I called the FBI in Portland. When I got home I started working the information I had acquired and if has NOT stopped. Soon it will stop, because it has to...I may be victorious only in discovering my husband had a past in WA and OR - but, I think soon everyone will know I found more than just that....WAS Duane Weber D.B. Cooper? I still don't have the answer to that one - but, what I have done is open up a new door for the FBI to explore without imploding it.

Jo has written that someone connected with Duane was a Boeing rep to the Army. I think Boeing Vertol made helicopters for the Army. As far as I know the US Army never sought, bought or used 727s. If you check out Duane's brother you will find that I am very very correct in what I am saying. I do NOT know what his responsibility with Boeing and the Army consisted of other than his statements - and his history. He was a Boeing employee. He was an engineer. How many other yrs and after the WAR I do not know. If he had the schematics to the Boeings and other planes - he was obviously important to the Army and to Boeing. By the way Blevin's big production is introduced with a MYTH. Blinding Storm - who has ever said there was a BLINDING Storm - MORE MYTHS. MORE sucking in the young people - everyone wants the truth to die and slowly the facts about many of the old crimes are distorted. There was some bad weather, but it was NOT a BLINDING STORM. He must really have something to say, but he just won't follow the rules. Perhaps if he sent someone like 377 or yourself what he wanted to post and this person could act as a filter to keep the "stuff" out Quade and other objected to. We do know that 377 has done a little of this and there are others who also would not mind acting as a filter. He just goes crazy when he is posting - and gets abrasive so he does need a filter. We certainly need his input and I have somethings I need to put infront of him, but not on the forum just PM's. Can he still do PM's or even a private email to certain individuals? He never exposed his real email to us as some of us have done regarding communications out-side of the forum. A few of us knew each other outside of the forum prior to posting here also. Georger if you are in the loop why haven't you told us about this? Who is the NEW suspect? What is the BIG secret - the FBI never kept a suspect quiet very long in the past? What is so special about this one? I have a feeling it is Sheridan someone is referring to simply because of the DNA. A suspect whose name has NEVER come up before? Wonder if the FBI reads this thread - just about everyone has been a suspect at one time or another on the thread...even 377. Could also be a jumper we discussed briefly a few pages ago that used to jump at Issaqua and who died a few yrs ago...I did talk to him briefly after someone encouraged me to do so many yrs ago...would have to find the file on that - but doesn't seem like I learned anything useful. He did tell me about some business men who came in there on a venture one time - hey, I wonder if that was the same business guys who flew a plane out of the Amboy area the night of the crime. Just kidding! Been thinking about the grudge and this is what I came up with. Duane's brother worked for Boeing and Duane had wanted to be a pilot, but being farsighted that was not going to happen because back then you had to have 20/20 vision without glasses to be a pilot. Then Duane gets screwed and ends up in prison. He was ordered out of his mothers home by the bother in 1957. In 1958 his mother dies and his brother makes sure he receives no inheritance. I was told this by Duane and I have found out the family was in pretty good shape before they died for the times. Then in 1960 when Duane ends up in Canon - he then goes into a special program. Receives some training there and then goes to another camp in CO. Duane met the woman he stayed with for 8 yrs in Colorado. He told the same story and she told 2 stories about how they met, but usually she had pulled a few too many silvers by the time she called me. This CO camp explaines a lot of things that happened when I lived in Denver and FT Collins with Duane from 1978 to 1980 when he departed almost immediately after the money find was published in the local paper....his abrupt departure to Alabama and leaving a good job was out of character for the man I knew - he was running. The stories the ex told me about those yrs from 1962 to 1971 were sometimes disgusting to me, but then I have mentioned some of this before. Even then they were in places that evolved around military and coverts. She said they were always on the run and never stayed anyplace very long. She hated that place in AZ and Tx - it was boring she said. In 1966 I think it was that he took her to CA and he was doing something in the WA and MX area at that time. This was just for a few wks. Then he takes her to AZ and he goes back to CA to settle something about his inheritance - the grudge. Since the family was associated with Shewin Williams and the Uncle was rich due to this association which also involved Boeing contracts and his brother had worked and may still have worked for Boeing at that time. Some research I did on the estate settlement - gave a date that did not correspond with the date the ex-wife gave me - therefore his reason for going back to CA and then to WA was for something besides "settling his inheritance" as he put it to her. Pehaps it was the seeds of a plan to take his inheritance and to get even. The brother owned a lot of property in WA along with a partner....the Brother disowned Duane from 1958 until 1995 when he was dying in the hospital. For over 37 yrs they had NOT spoke or acknowledge each other. When I contact his sister to let her know Duane was dying she called the brother and they had a telephone reunion over the phone...it had been 38 yrs since he had spoke to his brother. Think about this and think hard. he had made the confession a couple of days before and then the brother calls him after I have told the sister about the bizarre things Duane was saying. The sister knew who her brother was and what he was. She begged me not to go public. Not one time did she deny he wasn't Cooper. She had her first heart attack after I first contacted her...and then the next one when I was in CA to talk to the Brother in 2004 while Jim had his Proton Treatment at Loma Linda. This is when I found out the other wife had been introduce to her as JO in 1977 when I sent him to CA to get the ex out of his mind. She though I was the ex-wife. Duane had introduced the ex to his sister on that trip as Jo (that is me). I kept telling the sister I had never met her and then when she sees me in the hospital room in 2004 - she knew I was NOT the Jo who was introduced to her in 1977. This is what I would call a grudge if all of his family was well off and had benefited by way of Boeing. What better way to get back at your brother! Perhaps the grudge was as simple as that. Don Kirlan fought to get access to them to prove to the FAA that the 727 could be safely operated as a skydiving jumpship at WFFC. Boeing also had ready answers to stair down flight questions when contacted by NWA during the hijack. Jo Replied: GZeee! The first Boeing did not roll off the assembly line until the early 60's. Think about how long these plane were in the works prior to that and the possible concepts others had regarding the design. None of what you said above is relevant to what I am trying to tell you guys. This is WHY I do not get into your 'technical" conversations. I just know what I know and what I was told by Duane's own brother...and what I learned in regards to this at a later date.

I have no idea what his involvement was or why he had the schematics to the Boeings. He did act for 6 yrs as a consultant for Boeing to the Army. This he told and wrote to me...but, I am under the impression this was in the 50's and before the Boeing 727 was actually produced. The 727 would have been on the drawing board prior to the actual production. Robert Stated: Jo, To the best of my knowledge, the only Boeing aircraft that the Army had an interest in were the helicopters produced by Boeing Vertol in the Philadelphia, PA area. Helicopters and 727s are from entirely different worlds. Jo Stated: Wrong! Didn't I use the word schematics? Do you really believe the Army and Airforce were NOT interested in the development of these planes. Remember the aft stairwell had multiple uses...think! When Boeing designed the 727, it was conceived with multiple uses...but, became idea to use getting into smaller airports, but with a pay-load. Attention FBI and others: Camp Hale located in the Eagle River valley in Colorado was an Army training facility constructed in 1942. Soldiers were trained in mountain climbing, skiing, and cold-weather survival. From 1959 to 1964, certain individuals were trained at Camp Hale by the CIA. The nickname for the camp became "Dhumra" and this camp closed in 1964. This was near Leadville, CO.
