One of these is "Mike Watson". What Georger is upset about is the FACT that I noted NONE of the passengers were aware of the "whitish bag". I asked a question he nor the FBI want to address. Can any one produce a statement from the passengers regarding a whitish bag? These individuals sat on that plane while the delivery of the chutes and reserves and "the money" filed past them before they were allowed to disembark? When Tina came up the stairs with the first load - that got the attention of the passengers. The second load was even more alerting. Just encase I am asked to leave by the moderator - I wanted to make sure these things are known to all. In other words they might be my last words on this thread and I want them to count. By the Way 377: We are still working on putting Weber in a chute - only his name wasn't Weber at that time. So we have to find members of the deceased family and hopefully some old pictures to prove this. Georger may be upset because he knows what is going on and he prefers it to stay a secret for ever-more. Maybe his motive in posting here - is to "keep" the secret and not let the truth be exposed. You are going to find some very strange things happening in the very near future. What Happened, Georger - did I get too CLOSE for comfort? There is someone who posts here that knows exactly what is going on - WAIT and SEE. I AM NOT responsible for CARR not posting here. If you think that is so - then check with the FBI or CARR himself. Whatever happened to him was his own doing. I did NOT tell him what to post or not to post. If he violated protocol in procedure - that is his own undoing...not mine. WHY would the FBI sanctioned his going on a public forum with information otherwise considered confidential in all other mediums? Wake-up....and think about WHY the FBI would even do such a thing. Exactly what has happened. In 1996 there were people who could validate my story, but NO one would go talk to these people and if they did it was not documented. The system was so fragmented or corrupt (depending on which way you look at it) the left had didn't know what the right hand was doing. This 14 yr delay could also be by design. Because of the secrets kept from me about my husband's past - I have to lean toward the later. If they knew where Duane was during all of those yr. and knew he WAS not Cooper - there was NO EXCUSE in their not taking me to their office and showing me the paper work and the records. BUT - NO I got NOTHING other than what AGENT CARR - posted on this forum. Now do anyone of you think that is the way to handle an investigation if the person has been cleared? I recieved a short letter within 2 yrs and a reply to a phone call I made in the 4 th yr. The agent told me information I knew was FALSE because I was holding government RECORDS in my hands as I was talking to him. He did call me back and say he had made an error, but at NO time has ANY official produced written doumentation about Duane's past and the extent of the investigation. ALL I got was what AGENT CARR posted in this forum. I have NEVER recieved WRITTEN documentations about Duane's past and it has been over 14 yrs. That is 14 yrs of my life the authorities thought was expendable...IF they actually had any proof Duane was NOT Cooper. Well, I don't have to say "What do you think I think?" IF the authorities had conclusive proof Duane Weber could NOT be Cooper they would have provided that information yrs and yrs ago. Now that was a mouthful. Exactly what I have been accused of many times over the yrs. "be very careful trying to extend known facts where Duane told the truth to cover area's where he might have lied". You and others just don't get it. He would tell me things about an area we would visit - but, it was obvious he knew these places well (rarely did that man ever use a map). Then he would tell me a story about that area. Sometimes it would be 'we' or 'the guys' and other times it would just be a piece of history as far as I was concerned. I can understand his having been in this area or that area such as OR and WA, but when I went out there in OCT. and did my searching. I came home with lots more information than I had before I left. Individuals he told me about - were REAL people and they were just where he said they were. The woman who had the shop is dead and so is her nephew - so I haven't been able to verify his link to the area. When I turned this over to the FBI several individuals where still alive that are now deceased. I know there is a truth that goes with the Ft Benning story - He used someone elses serial number and name to re-enlist, but got found out real fast. Now the person whose place he took may have been unaware of this joker using his name and number. Question - would not the authorities have contacted the person whose name and number Duane used? He simply told me about a man who went into the service - one who had been kicked out, but used another persons serial number and name to enlist again. He was not using this story to fill in blank spaces in his life. He told me many things about Phenix City which is near the base - hence he WAS there. But what NAME did he use and WHEN was he there. Because Paperlegs was a name he mentioned several time in our marriage - I chose 1945 - 1947 as my target dated for Duane being in the Ft. Benning area. Then I find this man who he spoke fondly of was also in the CO and AZ area in the same time frame Duane was there. 1960 - 1964 or 65. By the end of 65 Duane was in Kansas City. I made these connections yrs ago and got made fun of, but that was before I realized how Duane's mind worked and how he managed to keep his past from me. He spoke about himself in the 3 person. The time frames are the time frames I have asked repeatedly for the FBI to fill in - IF they did indeed checked his back ground then they will have his SS records and know who he worked for and when. The had both SS number and the names. Now if they are pulling BLANKS during those yrs. then those yrs need to be re-examined. FACE it! If the FBI had those records don't you think they would have told me and sent me documentation to get me off their backs? Speaking of extending known facts - Blevins is far more in out field than I have ever been. I gave the FBI names of people Duane was in associations with and NO one ever told me where this was. I saw the pictures on the wall at T1s house - that place was a place to KEEP people out of and not inside...therefore I do not believe T1 was in prison. T1 knew T2, but T2 was the one Duane WARNED me about. T2 is also the person who told me "Duane knew people in High places and if you want to be around to play with your grand kids destroy what you have and never look back". he never told me from where knew Duane nor Duane from where he knew T2. Duane had told me T2 was a dangerous man - and I was never to be alone with him. T2 knew Duane as John and not Duane. Now if T2 was a dangerous excon - the FBI should have told me NOT to approach him as he didn't live to far from me. Yet, Duane called T2 dangerous? T1 was a very nice family man - and I really could not believe this man was anything but legitimate. Because of his nationality - I really think Duane's connection with T1 was in AZ, MX, and CO - and because of his nationality - perhaps a covert. Exactly what Duane's involvement was - the FBI needs to investigate (and as I have told them before - the SS no. on John Collins should tell them a lot). To my knowledge they never researched the John Collins work record - maybe they didn't need to do so. 4. The realization that Duane had NOT lied about the things he did nor his life - he just omitted certain things and told the story like it was someone else. I am trying to remember as many details as I can...and I am now trying to remember the most remote details I can. 377: The 2 senarios are just that senarios of what I am trying to piece together. The stories regarding witness, the places Duane took me and the things he said....just trying to unravel it all. Those 2 senarios were not meant to be accurate - and the only way we will ever know is to go out there and walk the areas with OLD maps to filter our the developement. Having an old timer present who knows how it used to be would be helpful - but, the longer this is put off the less chance there will be anyone who is capable of doing this. You are wrong on the handcars. I have spoke with extensively a person who worked at that old mill back in those days - and in 1971 - there was still a cart there and functional and there may have been more. There would have been NO switches for that area as the tracks ended above the mill. I would have to ask as there might have been a switch down further South as this spur merged with another track...if Cooper had experience with the things he could have done that. The switches were still manual in those days...and the carts were equiped with the tools to do this. I heard about more carts kept closer to Battleground, but never verified this. There was supposedly an area these where kept in. Maybe they used them to get fire equipment and men in the areas faster......! 39 Yrs ago tonight - Cooper was in the dark and on the ground. He knew he was not too far from the Swift Dam or the Yale Dam - as he had seen the lights while he was still in the air. That was not his target - hell, he didn't have a target - he expected to be in jail or dead. His only concern was finding shelter for the night - and he hunkered down waiting for daybreak. Wow, was he lucky he was right off the road. Stupidly he thought - well, it is Thanksgiving day and there won't be anyone on the road, but did he miscalculate that. A truck passes and acts like it is going to stop and then goes on. He immediately gets off the road and stumbles across the rail spurs - from an old logging camp. He follows that to the Chelatchie Mill were a pump car was kept. He hops on and its the rails - he has to make as much time as he can. If you listen to the stories out there - this is one scenario, but using what Weber told me and showed me my scenario was different, The problem I have is with the location this truck saw the man walking on the ground. Perhaps a miscommunication about the point at which this truck encountered a man walking in business clothes carrying a bag. What Weber said to me in a location he took me was there had been a tower of some sort...You could see the light for miles....I assumed night time. Question did these towers have their lights on during the day and are the tower lights visible in the day (I am going to persume they are on 24 - 7). I had thought he was moving in the night - but he could have been moving in the day. I had presumed Night because of the statement - "you could see the light for miles". Regardless - the rail cars are very important, because they got him out of the search area relative fast - and then it was a matter of staying low and out of site and going S.E. away from the search area. The vechicle he left near a field not far from Green Mt off of the old 500 was out of question. It was stolen and by now the FBI would be swarming all over it. So S and E it was - he knew the power lines and the pipe lines. He had cut the hardware and straps away from the chute to make a knapsack of sorts. He had used the canopy and his brief case for heat and warmth that first night...and then buried the remains behind the shed. What a stroke of luck inside of that shed was a pair of coveralls - which he put over his suit. Now he blended in. But what if he did exactly what he said "Go Right Back At Them". BUT, how could he have done this. He knew a man who had a piece of property at the foot of Green Mt. (did he go there)? Perhaps the man or woman was gone - but he took what he needed. Maybe this guy was a tenant or caretaker for the old Mansion that was not too far away. He had mentioned this and I told the FBI, but they NEVER did find out who the caretakers were for the Ole Mansion from 1945 to 1971. If Duane knew him - he was probably an excon or a correctional officer or old friend. He mentioned the name Bxxxxx which I have checked out - but as usual - a day late and a dollar short. By the time I find them they are senile or dead, yet if the FBI had listened 14 yrs ago most of these people were viable. Baaaaaa was another name. Now I find out the woman he took great efforts to locate on our trip in 1979 had the maiden name of Baaaaaa. She had a nephew by the name of Hxxxxx which he also claimed to know. I went back 31 yrs later and found this damn stuff the FBI could not be bothered with in 1996. In 1996 - some of the individuals where still alive. Oh well, I can try and try but, the trail is so cold and without the help of the FBI in obtaining records I am dead in the water. Blevins is totally incorrect in stating the FOIA - you have to have Names for the jumpers or serial numbers - to do that. But I heard from my Researcher and she is going to see what can be done...but it will be a couple of wks before she can do this. If I knew where to look and who to see I would drive up there myself. I need the beginning rosters for every class and the ending roster - the missing ones are the names to check. HINT HINT FBI - it is easy as pie for you guys - just a PHONE CALL. Ft. Benning I told you guys about Duane stating on a trip to Alabama when he drove me toward the entrance of Ft. Benning and then turning around and headed back North...he pointed to a building and said that's where the guys and I stayed and this just a little further he stated -"Over there" (if was beyond a treed area)" is where we used to jump". He also told me another story during that trip or another trip that took us into the Ft. Benning area or another military area in the AL area (my memory is starting to fail me, but I told the story yrs ago and I am sure it is in a writing or email some place). Just bear with me: Duane told me about his life but in the third person. Sometime during the above time he told me about a young man who used someone elses number and name, but it took the authorities a few wks to find him out . He said this young man had been kicked out of the service previously and that was the reason he used the other ID. ALL of this has been told to the authorities by me and to Ralph Himmelsbach, but I was told it was impossible. BUT after that 1957 article - I now know that Duane told me about his life in the third person and most if not all of what he told me was true. Now I need some HELP. Really bad. I need the Ft. Benning records from 1945 to 1948 to be accessed to see if there is ANY record of a young man doing this very thing. If so then we will have the name and serial number that was Duane Weber. By 1943 Duane had already been kicked out of the Navy and when I first contacted the FBI I told them about his being in the ARMY and the serial number and a letter that showed he was at Camp Siebert. The FBI agent would tell me in 2000 that Duane was never in the Army and the number belonged to a Wavy Green (not sure of the spelling). I called him on this and then he called me back in about an hour stating that Duane had been in the Army - the information I had had no DISCHARGE date, but the FBI later provided this same paper but with a discharge date (how did they do that)? If Duane was kicked out of the Army for the reasons I was told about by family members - he had to have spent some time in the brigg...so what do they do make the discharge Retroactive? Well, 99 the "crook" story which I already knew but didn't know it was Duane himself has me re-examining every conversation I can remember. I think this guy who got into paratrooper training really happened and that person was Duane L. Weber. I just need to know HOW one goes about fingering these things - the government doesn't like to admit it when they screwed up. I had a young lady who helped me previously, but she was unable to access anything prior to 1950's and then only the graduates - I posted the link to the pictures a couple of yrs ago. Come on someone help me out here - this is getting spooky and I feel spooky....actually this is driving me insane. I had talked to a man in Ft. Benning who told me his name and gave me a contact we could talk privately - then when I make this contact - it doesn't exist. Yrs later this same name comes up in WA D.C. Maybe there were 2 men with that same name who worked in FT. Benning. I would have to go back into my records to find it. Like the trip - later may never come...I guess that is what the authorities would like to see happen. I have been told to keep quiet for a few WKS - why? I am a reasonable person if I am given an explanation that makes sense. Did Duane meet Paperlegs during 1945 at Ft. Benning or did he meet him later when the government decided Duane might be useful and maybe they could reform him by utilizing his yearning to fight for a cause? Is this when Duane knew Paperlegs? Is this how Duane knew so MUCH about communications? The ex-wife put Duane in all of those places and his own words put him in those places - N. and S. CO and the Leadville area and "In Plane Site". I was shown the area of all of these camps. Remember the people he ran into he knew - ED Horan, a one legged man (amputated Right leg below the knee) who lived in South CO, the music man (Husband and wife team), the dry cleaner. A man Duane and ED worked for that had NO memory of either of them yrs later. None of this makes sense to anyone but me. Speaking of the BAG, Professor G. The bag was carried up the forward stairway which was the only entry and exit point while the 727 was on the ground. Tina was allowed to bring the chutes and the money up the stairs, past the passengers and to the Aft cabin - BEFORE the passengers where allowed to leave the plane. I have never read ONE accounting of a passenger (witness) stating a WHITISH bank Bag was brought onto the plane. WHY? The FBI is the one who made that claim. Where is the accounting of the passengers who sat on in that forward cabin when this young lady is making more than one trip to take the items back to the Aft Cabin? What happened. Is the site still up? I could only see a couple of them, but the raves the posters have been giving means they must really be good. Pay Georger no mind he is just likes to disagree with anything and everything most of the time. He is sparing with compliments unless it is going his way. You would be a great investigative TV reporter. Reminds me of what the guy does on Numbers. I have enjoyed what I have viewed. Have you ever thought of using your ability by working with the FBI as a free lance on cold cases. Perhaps a lot of them could use some new views and your analytical approach. You are the very last person who should make such a statement like that. You convinced old friends of K.C.'s he was Cooper. You have twisted their memories and made it your story. You are causing 2 old ladies to make fools out of themselves - because the enticement of being involved in the solving of the Cooper case has been overwhelming... You have taken another subject you refuse to name - and accused him of breaking and entering to retrieve evidence that could cause him to be brought into question. No, you haven't named your subject, but you might as well have done so. Now he is under investigation, but since none of us have heard anything in the media other than what you wrote - obviously the FBI has given your accusations no credence. Can you even imagine how those 2 old ladies will feel when the REAL Cooper is revealed? Can you even imagine the consequences they will have to handle or do you even care? P.S. I never said Paperlegs was Cooper. ALL I am trying to do is establish what the truth is behind the third party story and that just might lead to the truth. If indeed Duane did know Paperlegs perhaps there is a picture somewhere with the 2 of them in it. Doesn't it make sense I would want to know about his connections to Paperlegs during that time frame - considering Paperlegs was in the same areas as John C. Collins and involved in the very same things Weber told me about? I am not stepping out of bounds. I am trying to figure all of this out - I am trying to find the real truth...not hurt others by building a scenario that leaves scars and a stigma on the lives of others...as your story will do. Duane Weber's personal life harmed a lot of people in his past and he did a lot of good after his awakening (for lack of a better word). Duane Weber did CONFESS to the crime and the things he told me have turned out to be true - now it is just a matter of piecing his life together and unraveling the mysterious past of this man. The memories that have flooded back since I realized he had actually told me about his life in the third person - like it was just a story he hear or an article he read...to suddenly realize the person he was talking about was himself,.Just when I was ready to give up suddenly another door opens - and the memory flood gates opened - revealing even more about his past. I spent 15 day in WA and OR, now I want to go back - there is more I have to do that I need to do, but I have not the time nor the money for such an adventure. I am 10 yrs too late - because so many of the key individuals have died - I am one of the last survivors. All I can hope for is a paper trail - a historical trail back into his history....There are those who say this man was here or there, but there IS nothing to confirm it. All it will take is one photo of man with a different name - that is undeniably Duane Weber. There are 3 such photos being studied and compared now. We have old folks who say - that guy was the dishwasher at the Spillway...I need pictures to prove it. That guy used to work for Mattie - I need pictures or documents to prove it. That guy helped the guys pack the chutes but, I need pictures to prove it. You can conjure up any story you want about Cooper's identity - I want proof...and the public wants proof (not just another Cooper Wannabe Story). Duane said he knew Paperlegs. Paperlegs was in the same places at the same time Duane was. 3. I did suggest that perhaps the government inadvertantly trained Cooper to do what he did. In that same post I mentioned that he may have used another name. 4. Exactly why I want the records for the time period Paperlegs was at Ft. Benning. I want to know the name of every person in that class. 5. If what Duane told me is true and I have NO reason to believe it is not....there was a guy who used a serial number and name of another person to get back into the service....remember he always talked in 3rd party. I believe he may have met Paperlegs during this time period. 6. Duane Weber told me this story in the Ft. Benning area when he pointed out a place he and the guys stayed in. 7. I have learned that Duane's third party stories are about himself...such as "Crook" for occupation and this is why I am exploring all of this again. 8. When I learned the time frame of Paperlegs training and the fact he was CIA during the crucial yrs, I have ever reason to explore this - that is not accusing anyone. In fact when Duane spoke of Paperlegs it was in admiration. You above anyone else has NO right to even suggest such a thing. You have taken a sweet hard working guy and made him out to be Cooper. Kenny never confessed to being Cooper. He was frugal and smart with his money - I can show you others from that same time frame and with the same amount of income who accumulated a sizeable estate. One was a meek and unassuming bookkeeper. He never married and he never made as much as Kenny made - he died a very wealthy man. Gold coins and coins are one way to accumulate wealth without even realizing it. I am sure that even Kenny had no idea what the value of his collections was. It is something men of that era did. I personally know another person who did it just because he was bored and did the exact same thing...died without knowing the value of the collections. What about the assault the guys in this forum made on Eagleeye. Sheridan Peterson...the attack was such the poor man had to give his DNA to the FBI or so it was purported in the thread. I have some records for the Ft. Benning jumpers, but the 1945 records require one to GO to the facility and then you might be denied access. I was able to previously get photos from the early 1950's but not 1948. I will give my girl a call and see if she is still available...and what she can find since we have a Name and a Specific Yr. Does anyone else have a source? I seriously doubt that Paperlegs was Cooper, but someone he worked with or had association with either in 1945 or the yrs during his time with the CIA and his position in communications during the 1960-1973 time span. Fits Cooper Profile: Richard A. Peterson (nicknmaed "Paperlegs" jump at McCall in 1947. Time frame works for his having met Weber. This long-time McCall jumper and CIA employee died in Weiser, ID on Oct. 19, 1999. The CIA involvement he was into was on the fringe of what our government would allow to be public knowledge. Born March 3, 1927, at Gannett, Idaho, Right age.[/Blue] In 1945 joined the U.S. Army and trained as a paratrooper at Fort Benning, Ga., with the 82nd Airborne. Why was his involvement so SHORT - one yr. Remember the Ft. Benning photos and records I posted. Where is he in this group? What was the name of the other individuals who trained at the same time with the same group? There was a story Duane told me about a guy who used someone elses number and name at Ft. Benning...could that have been Weber? Weber was supposedly in McNeil for about the 1st 6months of 1945? What specific months was Paperlegs at Ft. Benning? Honorably discharged in 1946. Very short period of time for an army stent. Until 1954 he spent summers as a smokejumper and winters in mining. He went full-time with the Forest Service in 1955. From 1962-1973 he worked as a parachute dispatch officer for Intermountain Aviation involved with special operations in Tibet, Laos, Vietnam, Cuba, India and Peru. [Blue] What qualified him for this particular position of Dispatch Officer? Also note the training fields for these operations were located in the very places Weber contended he was (confirmed by the stories he told and the ex-wife of the times told). Married in 1964 and lived in Tucson, Ariz. Tucson was a major location in the history of Weber and his wife. She also had relatives in the area. Where's Bruce?! Thank You Sluggo: I could not think of the man's name to save my soul. I just remembered Paperlegs and the stories Duane told me and the ex-wife told me and all of these places he talked about - and I realized the answer was infront of me ALL of these yrs. It took an article from 1957 to cause my eyes to get WIDE open and for my memory to suddenly link all of the things he had told me over the yrs. What will it prove if I am able to establish a relationship between the 2 men? Note that Paperlegs was a communications specialist and remember what we have all tried to figure out over these last 14 yrs. We knew Duane had some kind of special knowledge of communications - but, nothing in his background to substantiate it. Hell, I don't even know what Paperlegs looked like. I believe I found one photo yrs ago of him as a very dapper young man in a jumpsuit - but, nothing else. The chemistry is ALL there and the background is ALL there - now it is a matter of putting the mix together...and try to unravel the past. Perhaps there is a better trail for Paperlegs beckground and it will make what I know about Duane make more sense - but, them maybe NOT. I won't list my long and tedious involvement with this man. I would feed him a lie and then he would reply with this long fantasy story. Everything I baited him with Doug Pasternak knew about. Finally he started backing down from his out landish claimes, but it was just too late for me to give him anymore leash the way he was running and in the wrong direction. 14 yrs and 6 months later - it is over. Tonight - at 4:56 AM on Nov. 21, 2010 after spending most of the night preparing some flyers and reviewing old files - I found what I have been looking for all of these yrs. I even lit a cigarette in the house and it is on my desk as I type. Also sitting on the desk is a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. I have found what I was looking for. The answer has been in front of me since day one. Duane had mentioned Paperlegs to me several times in our 17 yrs together. The realization that he had told me about his life came with the article 99 posted about Treasure Island. Then we discussed Colorado and my memories of those days and the things he told me at that time...have not stopped since the day I read that article from July 29, 1957. I could not understand how I could have been so naive, but that is just the way it is. Duane did NOT lie to me about his past - he told me about his life, but he lied by omission. That news article caused me to look hard at our life together and to remember the things he had said. When I read about the man giving his occupation as "crook" this took me by surprise. I didn't say anything at that time, because I had not digested what I suddenly knew. Duane told me several times he knew Paperlegs...but, I could never make the connection. Now the connection is in my face and if it is not in your face than you are blind. I was lost and then I was found. I was blind and now I can see. I was never deaf and this forum has actually solved this case...perhaps by only accident...but then maybe someone has been leading me all the way thru. The article pointed out to me that my husband was a con man very blatantly, but that he had NOT lied to me about his past. You see he had told me about the man who was arrested and gave his occupation as "crook" on one of our trips to FL., This was the same trip he told me about a family member who owned a home in St. Pete...this was actually true. I remembered this because I laughed and told him that was a Stupid thing for this man to do...but, never gave it another thought until I read that article. You guys have no idea where I have been these last few days in my mind and in my memories. Then I started to think about all of the other things he told me - and they were actually true...he just told the stories in the 3rd person like it was someone else. Then I started to relive the Colorado days and the things he told me there. Well, I made the connection between Paperlegs and Duane tonight. If you guys don't see it then you are the ones who are blind and deaf. It took one more small article for me to make the connection after we discussed the yrs from 1960 to 1964...and Canon City. Our government was involved in Duane's past, but inadvertenty and perhaps not by design. When he told me about the manuevers in Canon City which I later verified thur residents in the area...Now it all comes together. Pehaps only in my mind, but I believe it is true. This is when the camps in Co (three of them) became a focal point and I believe our government actually trained him, but he may have been using another name. He talked about Canon City, a place north of Ft. Collins and an area around Leadville. He actually took me to these places...and told me stories. This is why the ex-wife's stories seemed so convoluted. As you know she met him in Boulder, Co. in 1962 and she had family there...she did not have custody of her children until 1966 or later. I don't know why this is relevant, but for some reason I think it is. They went to Kansas in 1964 and this is when he went to work for Pyramid Life Insurance and screwed up again in 1966 ending up on the run and back in prison. From the places she told me they went during those yrs and what I have found out about what was going on during those yrs...Paperlegs was in all of those places...during that same time frame. How vividly I remember her talking about how she hated that place - I forget where it was now...just outside of that large base - IN PLANE SITE. Every place they went Paperlegs' background took him at the same time. He helped train these guys! Not all of them cut the grade, but since this training was sort of outside of the limits the US wanted to make public - "others" were used to help facilitate the missions. I have no idea if Duane ever made the grade or if he was required to participate or if he just managed to con his way in to this - but 2 or 3 yrs of his life was utilized in these programs. All of the stories she told me about Duane being gone for several wks at a time - true. I am not sure he actually did go on a mission, but I am not sure what his involvement was other than support. I can't imagine him killing anyone, but my daughter thinks differently. Maybe he was just the dishwasher. He did tell me about something, but I have a hard time really believing this even now. Maybe I have just made ALL of this up, but do you really think I would be smoking in my house and have a bottle of wine in my hand at 5;55 AM on a Sunday morning if that was true.
